00:04In this video, we'll explain the enhanced capability, improved passenger space, and cargo room.
00:09There's a lot to cover, so let's get into it.
00:11First off, as you can see behind me, there are two new additions to the Armada lineup.
00:16On my right is the top-of-the-line Platinum Reserve trim.
00:19And on my left is the Pro 4X, which is packed with off-road hardware.
00:23No matter which Armada you choose, they all raise the bar for Nissan's flagship SUV.
00:27As you can see, Armada has real presence.
00:31The new exterior design features a very bold look, squared-off corners, a wide stance.
00:37Both the hood and roof are nearly flat to give a nod to Nissan's legendary SUVs from the past.
00:42This will really stand out with the five new available two-tone exterior colors.
00:47Now, let's talk capability, and let's start with power.
00:51Armada is standard with an all-new twin-turbo V6 engine.
00:55Horsepower is increased to 425, and torque is increased to 516 pound-feet.
01:01And to help with fuel economy, the available adaptive electronic air suspension can lower the Armada for better aerodynamics.
01:09Plan on doing some towing?
01:10You can tow up to 8,500 pounds, and Armada has a long list of helpful towing features.
01:15Need a little help getting hitched up?
01:17The new camera system offers a few different views to help you get lined up.
01:20Once you're hitched up, you'll need to check the trailer lights.
01:23No problem.
01:24With just a few pushes of the buttons on the key fob, Armada will cycle through the lights for you.
01:29Need to adjust the trailer brakes?
01:32Done.
01:33Additional features like tow mode and trailer sway control can all help once you get going.
01:38If you're an off-road enthusiast, the new Pro 4X model will interest you.
01:41It's equipped with some really impressive off-road hardware.
01:45To help with grip, the Intelligent 4WD system has selectable 4Low and 4High modes.
01:50When you select 4High, the Intelligent Around View Monitor camera system will automatically turn on to help you navigate your surroundings.
01:57There are several modes you can select to help with different terrains, like snow, mud, sand, or rock.
02:04The height-adjustable air suspension can provide a lift.
02:07There's an underbody metal skid plate and over-fenders for added protection.
02:11For the slow crawl, activate the electronic locking rear differential, and it works with the 20-inch wheels and all-terrain tires to help keep you moving forward.
02:19Armada is available with customizable dual 14.3-inch displays and a head-up display on Platinum Reserve.
02:26The dual displays allow you to choose a few different backgrounds.
02:30Sand, shade, or live that changes with time, giving you a different look throughout the day.
02:36And with available Google built-in, you have access to hands-free help from Google Assistant,
02:41Google Maps with its highly detailed satellite view,
02:44and a vast selection of apps available for download in the Google Play Store.
02:48There are several camera systems that take advantage of these new displays.
02:51Have you ever wanted x-ray vision so you can see through the hood of your car to avoid those curbs or realigning your wheels in the car wash?

03:05This can go extra wide as well.
03:07Those narrow drive-thrus or parking lot ramps can be a real challenge.

03:15Want some help with parallel parking or getting centered in a parking spot?
03:18This view makes parking almost too easy.
03:21When it's time for a school drop-off, you can take a quick survey of your surroundings.
03:25If you have passengers or cargo in the car, just flip this, and you get an unobstructed view.
03:32But let's say you want to keep an eye on the kids in back.
03:35The available in-car camera system can zoom into the second row.
03:38You can capture fun moments.
03:40Basically, it turns the Armada into a mobile photo booth.
03:43The displays also benefit from having wireless Apple CarPlay or wireless Android Auto.
03:49The larger screen means you can have more apps on display at once, and your maps are larger.
03:55Armada is available with a 12-speaker, 600-watt premium Klipsch audio system, with a dual-power subwoofer in the cargo area and titanium front tweeters.
04:04There are some fun modes you can use.
04:06Switch it from all to front when you're by yourself to have a more focused experience.
04:10Or, if only the rear passengers want music, you can set it to rear only.
04:13And to show off the quality of the audio system, there's a demo mode that gives you the full Klipsch home theater experience.
04:22To help keep everyone entertained and powered up, there's available wireless charging up front, plenty of USB-C ports, and a 120-volt outlet if you need power for laptops, gaming devices, or help around the campsite.
04:36Let's check out seating and comfort.
04:39Armada offers both an 8-seat and 7-seat configuration.
04:42For comfort, the front seats and rear outboard seats feature Nissan's advanced zero-gravity structure that can help reduce fatigue on long trips.

04:52In Platinum Reserve, there are available massaging seats up front.
04:56You can even make it a heated massage.
04:59Be sure to adjust the ambient lighting to match the mood.
05:02Now, let's jump in the back.
05:04Second row neat room has been increased.
05:06You can slide the seat back to max out your legroom.
05:09And for the third row, Nissan made it even easier for passengers to get in the back.
05:15Not only has the opening to the third row been increased, Armada features Nissan's innovative seating system that allows you to tilt the second row without removing a child seat.
05:24The third row has been improved with even more hip, knee, and legroom, allowing even tall adults to get comfortable in the back.
05:31Armada features acoustic glass treatments on the windshield and front doors.
05:36A special film between the glass helps reduce outside sounds so the first row can have conversations with the third row.
05:43How about help on cold or hot days?
05:45The available remote engine start with intelligent climate control can help the Armada get warmed up or cooled down before anybody gets inside.
05:53For cold days, heated seats are available for the first and second rows.
05:57For hot days, there are available ventilated front seats.
06:00And Armada also offers a new innovative biometric cooling system that monitors front and second row passengers' temperatures.
06:07And can send cool air to their relief without lifting a finger.
06:10Let's talk cargo. Nissan took steps to make the cargo area more spacious and easier to load.
06:15Camping trips and kids' sporting events can call for a cooler.
06:18Filled with ice, food, and drinks, it can be heavy.

06:26There's an available motion-activated liftgate.
06:29From here, I can press this button to lower the Armada.
06:34Now the vehicle is lower, so I don't have to lift this heavy cooler as high to get in.
06:38And to close the hatch, just swipe your foot again or press this button.
06:43For larger items, you can fold all the seats down from here.
06:47With all the seats down, you can fit items up to 8 feet long.
06:52And what about driver assistance and safety technology?
06:56Armada comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360, which means help with your blind spots and emergency automatic braking technologies.
07:03And for the first time, hands-off driving.
07:05It's perfect for that daily freeway commute or weekend getaway on the interstate.
