It was a mixed bag of results for T&T at the World Championships on Wednesday.

Keshorn Walcott qualified for the final of the Javelin but Leah Bertrand failed to advance to the semi-finals of the women's 200 meters.

00:00Come tomorrow, Keyshawn Walcott will line up in the final of the men's javelin at the World Championships.
00:06He qualified earlier today with a throw of 83.93 metres.
00:10Grenada's Anderson Peters had the best throw of 89.53 metres with Germany's Julian Weber, behind him with 87.21 metres.
00:18Over in the 200 metres, Lea Bertrand came sixth in heat four with a time of 23.33 seconds and did not qualify for the semi-final.
00:27However, there was no stopping 100-metre champion Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, who won in a time of 22.24 seconds.
00:35For the men, Noah Lyles advanced with a time of 19.99 seconds.
