02:35A reading from the book of the prophet Isaiah it begins on page 70 in your pray together book
02:44First the Lord degraded the land of Zebulun and the land of Napoli but in the end he had glorified the steward road the land west of the Jordan the district of the Gentiles
03:04Anguish has taken wing dispelled its darkness for there is no gloom
03:13Where but now
03:15There was distress
03:19The people who walked in darkness
03:22Have seen a great light
03:25Upon those who dwell in the land of gloom
03:30A light has shown
03:32You have brought them
03:34Abundant joy
03:36And great rejoicing
03:37And they rejoiced before you
03:40As at the harvest
03:42As people make merry
03:45When dividing spoils
03:47For the yoke that abandoned them
03:51The pole on their shoulders
03:54And the rod of their taskmaster
03:57You have smashed
03:59As on the day of Midian
04:02The word of the Lord
04:05Thank you God
04:07The Lord is my light
04:12The Lord is my light
04:14And my salvation
04:17The Lord is my light
04:26And my salvation
04:29Whom should I fear
04:42The Lord is my life's refuge
04:47Of whom should I be afraid
04:54That I may gaze
04:59That I may gaze
04:59That I may gaze on the loveliness
05:00Of the Lord
05:02And contemplate his temple
05:07The Lord is my light
05:15And my salvation
05:20I believe that I shall see
05:26See the bounty of the Lord
05:29In the land of the living
05:34Wait for the Lord
05:38With courage
05:40Be stout-hearted
05:43And wait for the Lord
05:46The Lord is my light
05:52The Lord is my light
05:53And my salvation
05:57A reading
06:00From the first letter
06:02Of St. Paul
06:03To the Corinthians
06:04I urge you
06:07Brothers and sisters
06:08In the name of our Lord
06:11Jesus Christ
06:12That all of you agree
06:14In what you say
06:16And that there is no division
06:19Among you
06:21But
06:23That you be united
06:25In the same mind
06:27And the same purpose
06:29For it has been reported
06:32To me about you
06:33My brothers and sisters
06:35By Chloe's people
06:38That there are rivalries
06:41Among you
06:42I mean
06:44That each of you is saying
06:47I belong to Paul
06:50Or
06:51I belong to Apollos
06:54Or
06:55I belong to Cephas
06:57Or
06:59I belong to Christ
07:01Is Christ divided?
07:07Was Paul crucified for you?
07:11Or
07:12Were you baptized
07:13In the name of Paul?
07:16For Christ did not send me
07:18To baptize
07:20But to preach the gospel
07:21And not with the wisdom
07:24Of human eloquence
07:25So that the cross
07:27Of Christ
07:28Might not be emptied
07:30Of its meaning
07:31The word of the Lord
07:34Thanks be to God
07:36Alleluia
07:41Alleluia
07:41Alleluia
07:44Alleluia
07:48Alleluia
07:52Alleluia
07:53Alleluia
07:57Alleluia
08:01Jesus proclaimed the gospel of the kingdom
08:10and cured every disease among the people.
08:21Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
08:31Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
09:01Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali,
09:04the way to the sea beyond the Jordan,
09:08Galilee of the Gentiles.
09:10The people who sit in darkness have seen a great light.
09:15On those dwelling in a land overshadowed by death, light has arisen.
09:21From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say,
09:26Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
09:28As he was walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers,
09:35Simon, who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew,
09:39casting a net into the sea.
09:42They were fishermen.
09:44He said to them,
09:45Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.
09:50At once they left their nets and followed him.
09:55He walked along from there and saw two other brothers,
09:58James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John.
10:02They were in a boat with their father Zebedee,
10:05mending their nets.
10:08He called to them,
10:09and immediately they left their boat and their father
10:12and followed him.
10:15He went around all of Galilee,
10:19teaching in their synagogues,
10:21proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom,
10:23and curing every disease and illness among the people.
10:28The gospel of the Lord.
10:30Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
10:32I believe in one God.
10:34God, God, God, God, God,
10:36and heaven, heaven, heaven, and earth,
10:38all things visible and indivisible.
10:41I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
10:44and only God, Son of God,
10:46born of the Father, who are all ages,
10:49God, from God, like him, like him, like him,
10:51true God, from true God.
10:53Be God not made,
10:55consubstantial with the Father.
10:57Through him all things were made,
10:59for our salvation.
11:02He came down from heaven,
11:03and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
11:07and became man.
11:09For our sake, he was crucified on the points of Spilot.
11:13He was crucified on the points of Spilot.
11:16He ascended to heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
11:23He will come to the Lord to judge the living and the dead,
11:27and his kingdom will have no end.
11:30I believe in the Holy Spirit,
11:32the Lord, the giver of life,
11:34who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
11:37who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
11:40who has spoken through the prophets.
11:42I believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic Church.
11:46I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
11:50And the Lord's resurrection in the earth,
11:53and the life of the world is come.
11:55Amen.
11:57That in a world torn by sin and strife,
12:00the Church may shine forth as a sign of unity and concord.
12:04Let us pray to the Lord.
12:06Lord, hear our prayer.
12:07For Catholic educators,
12:10especially during this Catholic Schools Week,
12:14that they may form our children
12:16according to the light and truth of Christ.
12:19Let us pray to the Lord.
12:21Lord, hear our prayer.
12:23That through our church ministries,
12:25we will follow Christ's instructions
12:27to spread his word to the world.
12:30Let us pray to the Lord.
12:31Lord, hear our prayer.
12:32That our devoted church community
12:35will support each other in all we undertake.
12:39Let us pray to the Lord.
12:40Lord, hear our prayer.
12:43For our deceased relatives and friends,
12:45and all the departed,
12:47that they may be gathered into the eternal joy
12:50of their heavenly home.
12:52May they rest in the peace of Christ.
12:55Let us pray to the Lord.
12:57Lord, hear our prayer.
12:59For all the prayers that we hold
13:00in the silence of our hearts,
13:02let us pray to the Lord.
13:04Lord, hear our prayer.
13:06Almighty God,
13:07we thank you for all your blessings.
13:09We thank you especially
13:09for the two great events
13:11we had at Most Holy Trinity this week.
13:13The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity service
13:15and the power of the Eucharist explained today.
13:18We thank you for all who made them happen
13:20and for the good work that was done by so many.
13:23Bless our efforts
13:24and help us to build your kingdom
13:26through Christ our Lord.
13:28Amen.
13:30Blessed are you, our God.
13:34Would you let me be your servant
13:38and me be as Christ to you?
13:44Pray that I may have the grace
13:48that you be my servant.
13:53Pray, my brothers and sisters,
14:23that my sacrifice and yours
14:25may be acceptable to God,
14:26our Almighty Father.
14:28May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands
14:31for the praise and glory of his name,
14:33for our good and good of all the Holy Church.
14:36Accept our offering, O Lord, we pray,
14:39and in sanctifying them,
14:40grant that they may profit for us for salvation
14:43through Christ our Lord.
14:46Amen.
14:46The Lord be with you.
14:48And with your spirit.
14:49Lift up your hearts.
14:50We lift up all the Lord.
14:51Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
14:53It is right and just.
14:55It is truly right and just.
14:57Our duty and our salvation,
14:58always and everywhere,
14:59to give you thanks.
15:00Lord, Holy Father,
15:01Almighty and eternal God,
15:03through Christ our Lord.
15:04For at the last supper with his apostles,
15:07establishing for the ages to come
15:08the saving memorial of the cross,
15:10he offered himself to you
15:11as the unblemished lamb,
15:12the acceptable gift of perfect praise,
15:15nourishing your faithful by this sacred mystery.
15:18You make them holy so that the human race,
15:21bounded by one world,
15:23may be enlightened by one faith
15:24and united in one bond of charity.
15:26And so we approach the table of this wondrous argument,
15:29so that, bathed in the sweetness of your grace,
15:32we may pass over to the heavenly realities here foreshadowed.
15:36Therefore, all creatures of heaven and earth
15:38sing a new song in adoration,
15:40and we with all the hosts of angels cry out,
15:43and without end we acclaim.
15:45Be a hand,
15:47and without end.
15:49Oly, only, only, only, Lord,
15:53I look holy, only, oly, only,
15:57Oh,ARY, only, Lord,
15:58heaven and heaven and earth
16:00full of your glory.
16:06Hosanna,
16:08Hosanna in the fire.
16:14Hosanna in the highest
16:44A lot of the YouTubes who watch today, Thomas Aquinas was mentioned.
16:57So my favourite thing about Thomas Aquinas regards the Eucharist is this.
17:00He said if we study the New Testament,
17:03we'd see five desires of Jesus fulfilled every time we celebrate the Holy Eucharist.
17:08First, Jesus left us the Eucharist so we wouldn't forget him.
17:11He said, do this in memory of me.
17:14And the Bible tells us every time we do this Eucharist,
17:17we proclaim the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus until he comes again.
17:22Secondly, he wanted to have an intimate personal relationship with everyone who would ever believe in him.
17:28And through Holy Communion, he comes inside in each of us.
17:32He can't be more intimate with us than that.
17:34And he said, whoever receives me will have life because of me.
17:38Thirdly, he wanted to win forgiveness for our sins.
17:41He said, this is the blood of the covenant, shed for you for the forgiveness of sins.
17:47Fourthly, he wanted to feed us with his very self.
17:51He said, my flesh is true food.
17:53My blood is true drink.
17:54Whoever eats this bread will never be hungry.
17:57And finally, he wanted to give us a guarantee of heaven.
18:00And he said, I am the living bread come down from heaven.
18:03Whoever eats this bread will live forever.
18:07You're indeed holy, O Lord, the font of all holiness.
18:11Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your spirit upon them like they do fall,
18:16so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
18:21At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion,
18:25he took bread and giving thanks broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying,
18:30Take this, all of you, and eat of it.
18:33For this is my body, which will be given up for you.
18:37In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice.
18:47And once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying,
18:51Take this, all of you, drink from it.
18:54For this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
18:59which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
19:05Do this in memory of me.
19:07My Lord, my God.
19:13The mystery of faith.
19:21Save us, Savior of the world.
19:27For by your cross and resurrection,
19:32Save us, Savior of the world.
19:49For by your cross and resurrection,
19:55Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
20:08we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
20:12giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
20:16Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
20:19we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
20:22Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world,
20:24and bring her to the fullness of charity,
20:26together with Leo, our Pope,
20:28Lewis, our Bishop,
20:29and all your people.
20:31Remember also our brothers and sisters,
20:33who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
20:36and all who have died in your mercy.
20:38Welcome them into the light of your face.
20:40Have mercy on us all, we pray,
20:43that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
20:45with Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
20:47with the Blessed Apostles,
20:49and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
20:52we may merit to be coerced to eternal life,
20:55and may praise and glorify you
20:57through your Son, Jesus Christ.
21:00Through him, and with him, and in him,
21:03O God Almighty Father,
21:04in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
21:06all glory and honor is yours,
21:08forever and ever.
21:10Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.
21:41You're at the retreat today,
21:43you learned all about daily bread,
21:45Epiusius,
21:47super substantial bread,
21:48the bread of the Eucharist,
21:49so let us pray for that bread now and always.
21:51Our Father,
21:53Lord of heaven,
21:54hallowed be thy name.
21:56Thy kingdom come,
21:58thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
22:02Give us this day our daily bread,
22:05and forgive us our trespasses,
22:07as we forgive those who trespass against us,
22:11and lead us not into temptation,
22:14but deliver us from evil.
22:16Deliver us, Lord, we pray,
22:17from every evil.
22:18Graciously grant peace in our days,
22:20that by the help of your mercy,
22:21we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress,
22:24as we await the blessed hope,
22:26and the coming of our Saviour,
22:28Jesus Christ.
22:29For the kingdom,
22:30the power,
22:31and the glory are yours,
22:32not forever.
22:33Lord Jesus Christ,
22:34who said to your apostles,
22:35Peace I leave you,
22:36my peace I give you,
22:37look not on our sins from the faith of your church,
22:41and graciously grant her peace and unity,
22:43in accordance with your will,
22:45who live and reign forever and ever.
22:48Amen.
22:48Peace of the Lord be with you always.
22:51And with your spirit.
22:53Let us now share that peace and love with everyone around us.
22:56Peace you.
22:56Peace you.
23:07Amen.
23:13Lamb of God,
23:16you take away the sins of the world,
23:22have mercy on us.
23:29Lamb of God,
23:34you take away the sins of the world,
23:37world, have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
23:58Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called
24:17to the supper of the Lamb. Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say
24:23the word and my soul shall be healed. May the body and blood of Christ keep us safe for eternal life.
24:29Amen. My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
24:35I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now
24:41receive you sacramentally, commonly, spiritually into my heart, I embrace you as if you were
24:48already there and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
24:55Your heads and pray in silence.
25:00Grant, we pray, Almighty God, that receiving the grace by which you bring us to new life,
25:06we may always glory in your gift. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
25:10The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. And may Almighty God bless you. The Father,
25:16the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Mass has ended. Go forth, bring the love and spirit of God
25:23to everyone you meet. Thanks be to God.
