00:00Manila's 2nd District Representative Rolando Varillano filed a cyber libel complaint against suspended Cavite Representative Kiko Barsaga

00:07over a viral post accusing members of the National Unity Party of accepting bribes in exchange for supporting former House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.

00:18Varillano stressed that baseless allegations of bribery are not mere political commentary, but criminal acts that can damage reputations if unproven.

00:26He said it is Barsaga's duty to provide evidence, warning that failure to do so amounts to a malicious attack on the NUP.

00:35This marks the third cyber libel complaint against Barsaga this month, following previous cases filed by House Deputy Speaker Ronaldo Puno and businessman Enrique Razon.
