00:00All right, he's not a big one, but he's a start.
00:07They all count today.
00:10That's a tournament fish right there, boy.
00:13Cooper Hartman, 3.05.
00:16That'll be one of them days.
00:193.60.
00:21So we're about six.
00:24It's not too bad when one comes by,
00:26but when you got four or five coming by at once, man,
00:28it just destroys this water.
00:30Muddies it up real bad,
00:31and these fish can't see my bait real good.
00:34Oh, Biggins.
00:35That's all I do is catch Biggins.
00:370.32 pounds.
00:38That's got to be the smallest one ever.
00:58Put your hands together for your 2025 Vivo Rita Grand Champion, Mark Robinson.
01:13Hey folks, I'm Pat Malone, host and tournament director of the Elite Fishing Series.
01:18After last week's great kickoff event in Lafitte, Louisiana, the tour heads west to Kemah, Texas.
01:25A destination known for fun, food, and fishing.
01:31That's about 12 pounds.
01:33And this week, some fierce competition in super tough conditions.
01:39On the Elite Fishing Series, the sport's top pros face off head-to-head on the Frogtogs Elite Solo Tour.
01:45No teammates and no draw partners, where every cast counts and every ounce matters.
01:526.50.
01:54Thank you, sir.
01:57Seven pounds even.
01:59This week, divisional play starts as the ten invited pros fishing the west division are looking to make it through to fish day three by posting their heaviest total two-day wait.
02:11The top four will advance to fish on day three.
02:14At the conclusion of Championship Saturday, each of the final four anglers will hope to lift the champions' trophy, pocket a $12,000 payday,
02:24and punch their ticket to the Vivo Rita Tequila National Championship.
02:28But it won't be easy.
02:32Conditions are tough.
02:33And it's not just the weather.
02:35Ongoing dredging and construction have disrupted key fishing grounds, making the big ones hard to find.
02:423.05.
02:43Big one.
02:44And even harder to catch.
02:51Oh, dang it.
02:53As day one's weigh-in showed.
02:553.01 pounds.
02:579.97.
02:599.39.
03:00But pros like Seguin's own Travis Land made the longer runs and found the kind of fish that could make the difference.
03:08Come on, baby.
03:10That helps.
03:12Yee-haw.
03:1322-26, your new leader, Mr. Travis Land.
03:18Cooper Hartman found success, too, and brought in a great bag for day one.
03:221917, almost 20 pounds there.
03:25And with that, a very tough day one was in the books.
03:29A beautiful dawn broke over Galveston Bay for day two.
03:33Clear skies, light winds, this was just what the pros of the Viva Rita Tequila Top Ten Trail were hoping for.
03:40As the field launched, idled out, and eventually made their runs to their first spots of the day, the constantly changing weather and fast-moving storms would again play a part.
03:53By the afternoon weigh-in, severe weather had once again moved through the area and changed everything.
04:00581, except the order of finish.
04:04Event one winner Mark Robinson finished sixth and missed the cut, but landed the check-it-stick big red of the tournament.
04:10Reece Tisdale finished in fourth, Jeremy Reeves remained in third, Cooper Hartman held on to second, and Travis Land has the lead going into day three.
04:20Tisdale, Reeves, Hartman, and Land will move on to fish in a one-day heavyweight shootout for the title.
04:26Previous weights are zeroed as the pros target scorable redfish weighing 10 pounds or less.
04:325.96 pounds.
04:35In the exciting catch, weigh, and release format of the Yamaha Elite Fishing League's championship round.
04:42Next up, the final four hit the water for day three as the chase for the Viva Rita Tequila Championship continues.
04:50Welcome back to the Elite Fishing Series in Kemah, Texas.
04:54The final four gather their officials and cameramen and head to this week's official launch point.
05:00Focused, locked in, and ready to chase the Frogtogs Elite Solo Tour Championship at the Kemah Clash, presented by Discover Kemah.
05:09So my plan is for the final day, like everybody else's plan, is to try to find as many fish as you can catch because it's weight,
05:17so it really doesn't matter size unless it's under 10 pounds.
05:20So I was trying to find stuff fairly close to the ramp to give us the, you know, most amount of fishing time.
05:30The past two days in Kemah have been a grind, with a lot of smaller fish being weighed in.
05:35But today, if the pros can catch enough of them, it shouldn't matter what they weigh.
05:40Day three, it's all about quantity and building up their weights.
05:44Man, it's took us a grind of two days to get here.
05:51We're gonna go out here and see if we can't get it done on day three.
05:55Y'all stay tuned.
05:59Travis Land and the rest of the field head out for the final time this week at the Kemah Clash,
06:04brought to you by Discover Kemah.
06:07Elite Fishing Series Television is brought to you by Tidewater Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Frog Togs Rain Gear,
06:23McLean Trailers, Southerly Fishing, Viva Rita Tequila, Check It Stick Measuring Systems,
06:33Brecknell Scales, and our community partners.
06:50Alright, we're here.
06:52It was a little rough coming across this morning.
06:54It took us a little longer to get here than it's been all week.
06:57But, we're gonna get down here and get set up and try to make something happen.
07:04Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one.
07:15Lined in.
07:22Water looks good.
07:23This water is six, seven inches higher than it has been.
07:31This might mess me up.
07:33It might make it better.
07:37Fish.
07:43Fish on.
07:44Not a big one, but he's a start.
07:46They all count today.
07:47I don't care if we can catch 15 or 20 of these.
08:03There we go.
08:04Let me have it back.
08:05Alright.
08:06You ready, bud?
08:07Sure.
08:08Let's get him clipped on here.
08:092.6 pounds.
08:102.6 pounds.
08:112.6.
08:12I agree, sir.
08:13Hang on.
08:14Hang on.
08:15Hang on.
08:16Hang on.
08:17All right.
08:18Hang on.
08:19Hang on.
08:20Hang on.
08:21Hang on.
08:22All right.
08:23Hey, been here five minutes.
08:24We got one.
08:25Nothing wrong with that.
08:27Let's keep the ball rolling.
08:29We got one.
08:36Been here five minutes, we got one.
08:38Nothing wrong with that.
08:42Let's keep the ball rolling.
09:06Reese Tisdale puts a small one in the boat, 3.60 pounds, and he's happy to have it.
09:23So far the bite's been tough, with only smaller, aggressive fish showing up.
09:28But as Reese releases this one and gets back at it, across the flat Cooper Hartman looks
09:33to start building his weight and gaining momentum, as he pulls one from the grass.
09:40Man, you looked a lot bigger than that in that grass.
09:57I ain't taking that mistake again.
10:13But it's another small one going to the Brecknail scales.
10:192.85.
10:22God, I figured he'd be over three.
10:25Stay tuned, we'll be back with more from Kemah, Texas, after these messages.
10:35I don't have much line left.
10:40I love a good topwater eat.
10:47We're going to stay right here for a while.
10:51As we went to break, Jeremy Reeves hooked into a line-ripping, drag-pulling brute.
10:55Now as he battles to land his first real good fish of the day, let's take a quick look at
11:00just a little more of what this Gulf Coast destination has to offer.
11:06Kemah, Texas, a place we return to year after year.
11:11Just 30 minutes southeast of Houston, along Galveston Bay, it's become one of the Gulf
11:15Coast's premier destinations for food, fun, and sun.
11:21It's also the third largest boating community in the country, with marinas offering everything
11:26from boat rentals to luxury yacht charters.
11:31Of course, fishing is a part of the culture here too, with tournaments, guides, and serious
11:36anglers all chasing the big one.
11:38So whether you're out for a fun day of fishing, or to compete like the pros, Kemah brings it.
11:46Built in 1997, the Kemah Boardwalk brings that spirit to shore.
11:52Family attractions, world-class dining, and shops inspired by life on the bay.
11:58It's why the Elite Fishing Series comes back season after season, and why we think you will
12:04too.
12:05Now let's get back to the action and check in on that big fish Jeremy Reeves was battling
12:10right here in Kemah, Texas.
12:1212-pounder, not a squirreble fish, but a beautiful fish.
12:3512-pounder, not a squirreble fish again.
12:43Got one!
12:48Oh, don't get behind that pole, that's a good fish.
12:58Don't get behind that pole, buddy.
13:02Come on, big guy.
13:10Nice fish, too.
13:19Come on here, big guy.
13:20Whoo!
13:21I don't know if we was gonna catch that one.
13:22We threw it in three or four times.
13:24That's a great fish.
13:27Great fish.
13:32All right, my friend, you ready?
13:34Yes, sir.
13:35You all zeroed out?
13:36Yes, sir.
13:425.96 pounds.
13:44Can we rewrite that one real quick?
13:46He looks a little bigger.
13:48You got it clear?
13:50He looks bigger than that.
13:585.96.
14:00Okay.
14:01I can't believe you.
14:13Without the oyster.
14:31Ooh, that's a tournament fish right there, boy.
14:36Tournament fish.
14:468.98.
14:47Yes, sir.

14:49For the Texas coast is 20 to 28 inches.
14:53Man, you can't ask for anything better right here.
14:56So, hey, this is the Elite Fishing Series on Discovery, and we're catching some fish.
15:03Jeremy Reeves is pumped.

15:05He lands a heavy eight right at the close of Fishing Period 1.
15:09He's gaining confidence heading into the final round and hopes to finish the week with an Elite Fishing Series Solo Tour win.

15:47There he is.
15:48Welcome back to the Elite Fishing Series in Kemah, Texas.
15:59Fishing Period 2 is underway, and it's the angler's last chance to make their move.
16:06That's oversized for sure.
16:09Even when they're too big to count, it's still pretty cool catching a Kemah Scale Wrecker like this one.
16:22That's pretty cool, huh?
16:29Big fish.
16:32Travis Land has hooked another good fish.
16:35If he can land it, he'll make a major move up the leaderboard.
16:39That'll change the leaderboard up.
16:50All right, you ready, sir?
16:51I'm ready.
17:006.50.

18:28Come here.
18:30Reese Tisdale landed 14 scorable fish on championship Saturday.
18:35And with help from a 9.04 and an 8.74, his total weight for day three was 49.94 pounds.
18:45Travis Land failed to score a fish bigger than 7.5 pounds.
18:49But what he did score was quantity, landing 25 fish for his 101.10 pound total take.
18:55Here's a few more of the exciting catches that made up Travis' championship winning day.
19:00Pretty good little fish there.
19:05Caught this one.
19:06There was a big one coming down the rocks.
19:08As day three's final round was winding down, one thing became apparent.

19:2122-26, your new leader, Mr. Travis Land.
19:25And never looked back.
19:27On day two, he increased his lead over the field.
19:30And when the weights zeroed for day three.
19:33All right.
19:35And he had to do it from scratch one more time.
19:38There was no panic.
19:40He's a three-time champion here, and he knew exactly how to make it happen.
19:46All right, that's not supposed to happen.
