00:48Okay, so this is the BPS, the D2, the BETA, the factory edge was quite horrible, nothing to brag about there, so I had to fully resharpen it.
01:07It did sharpen extremely well.
01:14Okay, that is really sharp.
01:21I would not want to accidentally hack myself with that because it is really, really sharp.
01:40So, it does take an edge.

01:51I had to sharpen it, I don't know what the bevel angle it is.
01:56I think it's a little bit tighter than factory.

02:07I think it's the first BPS that sort of sits in my hand really, really well.

02:24One side was alright, the other side wasn't.
02:27So I had to put it on the grinder and I had to grind it just a little bit to make it crispy on both sides.
02:35So it will scrape wood and ferro and stuff to make it bush crafty.

02:48So this was the very, very last knife I purchased in 2025.
02:54And it is now the very, very first knife I think I'm testing in 2026.

05:26Okay, it looks like the knife has fallen directly into the middle of the D2 range.

06:11Oh look at that, a bit of a wood strop.

06:29Okay, so quick and dirty wood strop has it slicing again.
06:34I did feel just a little bit of snap, crackle and pop when I stropped it on the pine then.
06:42There is definitely some edge missing.
06:47It's still a working edge but there's definitely a dull spot there where it's digging into the wood.
06:53So when I'm doing this, right where it's hitting the wood it's dulled.
06:57And I think that may have just rolled the apex a little bit there as well.
07:03Because I did feel a little bit of snap, crackle and pop when I stropped it.
