00:00John Cena reveals his mindset behind losing his final WWE match.
00:05Many have an opinion on John Cena losing his final WWE match,
00:09but it appears the Neverseen17 has his own mindset on things.
00:14Ever since tapping out to Gunther at Saturday night's main event,
00:17the WWE Universe has been locked into a seemingly never-ending debate
00:21as to whether the company did the right thing or not regarding Cena's last match.
00:25While Cena has been relatively vague in regards to the finish
00:29beyond touching upon the match on Cody Rhodes' podcast,
00:32it appears we finally have more of a statement from Cena
00:35when it comes to his feelings on the finish.
00:38John Cena took to social media today to make a post about winning and losing
00:42and to do your very best with what's within your control, tweeting out,
00:46There are many forces at play in moments where we can win or lose.
00:51Much of that at times can be beyond control.
00:53What is within our control is doing our absolute best, John Cena said in a post.
01:00While Cena didn't flat-out say it,
01:02it certainly seems to be a level-headed response to the booking of his final WWE match.
01:07WWE superstar Natalya recently spoke with the Toronto Sun.
01:12While discussing John Cena's final match,
01:14Natty expressed how she loved the fact that John Cena was able to go out on his own terms,
01:19comparing it to the series finale of the hit comedy series, Seinfeld.
01:24What I really love about John's ending is that he left on his terms, Natalya said.
01:29I talk about this in my book, about beating the house.
01:33Very few professional athletes get to beat the house.
01:36Very few get to leave on their own terms.
01:39Most people leave because they're forced into it.
01:41They're forced into retirement.
01:43They have to go.
01:44John did what Jerry Seinfeld did.
01:46Jerry Seinfeld stopped doing his own show when he was like the number one show on television.
01:52And I remember when I was a kid because I used to love Seinfeld.
01:56My mom and my sisters and I would always watch it together.
02:00We loved that show.
02:02And I was devastated when Seinfeld went off the air.
02:05Because they were the number one show on TV at the time.
02:09And Jerry Seinfeld said,
02:10You see, with John, he did it on his own terms.
02:18But people are just feeling everything.
