00:06WWE Hall of Famer Sting shared his thoughts on John Cena's retirement from in-ring competition.

00:12Man, kudos to John, he said.

00:15He's one of the greatest of all time. I love to see it.

00:18I'm rooting for him and hoping it turns out to be phenomenal. I'm sure it will.

00:23Elsewhere in the same interview, Sting was asked to name his favorite feud of all time.

00:28Oh, it's got to be Ric Flair, he said.

00:31Of course, the Nature Boy. He put me on the map.

00:34It was July of 1990 when I won the world title for the first time.

00:39And then back in March of 1988, I had my very first world title match that really put me on the map.

00:46During a recent interview with The Ringer's Bill Simmons,

00:49John Cena said he will always remain involved with WWE in a non-wrestling capacity.

00:54You'll see me at WWE events, Cena said.

00:57I'm going to be involved as long as they will have me until I am need to, until I need to be replaced.

01:04But I will look like this wearing a suit and tie.

01:07When asked if fans could see him calling matches,

01:10Cena said that while he would love to do commentary,

01:12he might not be able to pursue the role due to its full-time commitment requirements.

01:17I would love to do it, he said.

01:19I think the announcing crew we have now.

01:21I'm such a big fan of Stu Bennett.

01:23I think he's carving out an excellent legacy for himself.

01:28I know Michael Cole's getting a little long in the tooth.

01:30He's probably wanting to move on.

01:32I would love to sit at the table.

01:34I think we have and I love listening to Big E call.

01:38You have to have the time to regularly commit to be an announcer.

01:41Like, I know Pat McAfee struggled with that.

01:44He split himself in a bunch of different directions.

01:46And gosh, I don't blame anybody for going until you can't go.

01:50But, like, he didn't have it in the tank.

01:53Like, he can't be...

01:54You can't be everywhere at once.
