00:36Speaking to TV insiders Scott Fishman in a new interview, Lillian Garcia shared her thoughts on John Cena's retirement at WWE Saturday night's main event.
00:45Lillian revealed her first memory of Cena before he became a main roster attraction.
00:50I cannot wait, she said.
00:52When I found out his final match was going to be during Saturday night's main event, I was like, that's the show I announce.
00:59It's actually kind of fitting because I announced him even before he was John Cena.
01:03He was the prototype.
01:05It was a live event, I'll never forget it.
01:08I hadn't seen him backstage yet.
01:10The crew explained to me that he is this new guy and gave me all his stats.
01:13I just remember as soon as I said, the prototype, and he came through the curtain, I was like, wow, that's a look.
01:20He came off special right from the beginning.
01:23Watching his whole journey, being a part of it, being able to call so many of his matches along the years, it has been incredible.
01:30From SummerSlam to WrestleMania, and now the pinnacle of it to be here, his final match, it's absolutely incredible.
01:37And the fact I'm back in WWE, it's just so awesome.
01:41When asked if she is nervous, Lillian said, for sure.
01:45It has been exciting.
01:46Am I nervous about this?
01:48Of course, you get nervous.
01:50I always say nerves are a good thing because it means you care.
01:54Nerves and excitement actually create the same energy.
01:57It's about turning those nerves into excitement.
01:59I'm very excited.

02:05Just really solidify the fact that he is the greatest of all time.
