00:04Cena appeared on Wednesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live and spoke about his plans to retire from in-ring competition.

00:11Cena says his last match will be at WWE Saturday Night's main event on December 13th.

00:17Since announcing his retirement plans, Cena has maintained that this actually is the end.

00:22Fans have speculated that he could go back on his word and wrestle again, but Cena insists that's not happening.

00:2823 years of performing in WWE and we're down to our last date.

00:33It's been a crazy year, just to bring everyone but three people in the audience up to speed, Cena joked.

00:39Pointing out the audience members who are wearing Cena WWE merchandise.

00:43It's been a crazy year where I announced this 15 months in advance, I'm going to retire.

00:48This has really never been done in WWE history.

00:52WWE superstars don't always necessarily retire, they kinda hang on for one more match.

00:58I am absolutely 100% done.

01:02The 13th of December on Peacock is my last in-ring performance, Cena said.

01:07I will never wrestle again.

01:09But what if you do wrestle again, Kimmel joked.

01:21The bracket has come down to L.A. Knight and Gunther, with the winner of the tournament final moving on to face Cena.
