00:00On today's Media Miss Minute, the Trump administration is banning the VA from providing
00:05abortion services. Plus, you may see more money coming back this upcoming tax season.
00:14I'm Craig DeGrelli. Here on Media Miss Minute, we break down two stories that are getting lost
00:19in the partisan echo chamber, starting with what's being missed by right-leaning outlets.
00:24The Trump administration has reversed a Biden-era rule that allowed the Department of Veterans
00:29Affairs to provide some abortion services. Under the change, the VA is now barred from
00:35providing abortion services to veterans and their dependents, including in cases of rape
00:40or incest. Abortions are still permitted, but only when the life of the pregnant patient
00:44is at risk. Now to what's being missed by left-leaning outlets. Kevin Hassett, director of
00:51the National Economic Council, is predicting Americans could see their largest tax refunds
00:56ever this upcoming filing season. Hassett says refunds could rise between $300 and $1,000,
01:03driven by the Big Beautiful Bill Act that President Trump signed into law in July.
01:09Administration officials are also floating the idea of so-called tariff dividend checks for
01:15certain Americans. For more stories you might have missed from partisan media outlets,
