00:00I touched you for only a fortnight, but I touched you for...
00:30I definitely think writing music is a form of therapy.
00:40I wanna snarl and show you just how disturbed this has made me...
00:47Sorry.
00:50Every record represents something different.
00:53You look like Clarible in this light. Remarkable.
01:03Tortured Poets' album is like this purge of...
01:07Just like everything, everything bad that I felt for two years.
01:13And I still can't believe...
01:17It was a really rough time in my life, so the songs reflect that.
01:21That's the end.
01:31Yeah.
01:33I sound like I'm gonna die.
01:35Feeling like I'm not a person.
01:37I'm just this, like, big conglomerate that no one sees as a real human being.
01:42And, like, especially not men that I date.
01:45And in the whole process, just being like,
01:47nothing, nothing works.
01:50Nothing's...
01:51There's no one for me in the world.
01:53These dressing rooms are freaking massive.
02:11Those are football players' locker rooms.
02:14They're for a 53-man roster.
02:17That's actually the first time she ever heard of Travis Kelsey,
02:20but she didn't know what it was.
02:22My cousins were, like, taking pictures with one of the lockers.
02:26We had no idea.
02:28No idea.
02:29Do you want me to tell the story?
02:31If you want to tell the story, then you should tell the story.
02:33I kind of do.
02:34She wants to tell the story.
02:35I do, because I think it's a pretty cool story.
02:37Mom, tell the story, please.
02:38Okay.
02:39Okay, if you really want me to.
02:43Speaking of Taylor Swift, I know you went to the Taylor Swift concert.
02:45How was it?
02:46Yeah, well, I was disappointed that she doesn't talk.
02:49Before or after her shows, because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.
02:55So I was a little butthurt.
02:56I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.
02:59You made her a bracelet?
03:00Yeah.
03:01They're our friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there,
03:05but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.
03:08Not right now.
03:09Ooh.
03:10Your number's in 87, or your phone number?
03:12You know which one.
03:13So she just...
03:14I'm looking at the headlines and perusing around what's on the internet, and I see that this
03:23guy came to your show, and he brought a friendship bracelet and wants to meet you.
03:29And so, of course, I call up my resident expert on Kansas City Chiefs, my cousin Robin.
03:35And I go, tell me about this guy named Travis Kelsey.
03:39And she goes, oh my God, he's the nicest guy.
03:44And you know what?
03:45He really loves his mom.
03:48And I went, ding, ding, ding, ding.
03:51And then I said, now how in the world am I going to get her to meet him or whatever?
03:56I've been very non-athlete because I'm not one, and I've always just been like, well,
04:00what would we talk about?
04:01And so you call me up, like, with this tone of like, hey, so I know you're going to not
04:08react well to this, but there's a guy.
04:10He's really cute.
04:12You said something to the effect of, like, you've got to start doing something different.
04:17Listen, it was so earnest.
04:19I thought it was the sweetest thing in the world that he came to your show.
04:23Yeah.
04:24He brought you something from your world.
04:27Yeah.
04:28To me, that really said a lot.
04:30So.
04:31Yeah.
04:32I thought that was really sweet.
04:33And I liked it.
04:34You know, on our first date, he literally had to explain football as if it were like violent
04:39chess, which helps me kind of understand it, like high speed, angry chess.
04:45And then I just sort of became obsessed with him and therefore became obsessed with learning
04:50about football.
04:51Yeah.
04:52Greatest surprise of my life.
04:54Um, now I like know who's on the injured reserve.
04:58I know who was in limited practice today for the 49ers.
05:02I'm like, what does it mean?
05:03What's the extent of the injury?
05:05Like, are we dealing with an Achilles thing or is his hamstring?
05:08Well, right now we're just four days away until downtown New Orleans is covered in glitter
05:18and friendship bracelets, all for the arrival of Taylor Swift.
05:21Four and more Swifties are arriving by the minute.
05:23Elected officials and law enforcement are using this upcoming weekend kind of as a test
05:28run ahead of hosting the Super Bowl.
05:30Soon, the world's biggest pop star will perform three sold-out shows.
05:34Today, the Taylor Mania begins night one of the heiress tour here in New Orleans.
05:39converter in New Orleans.
05:40Oh my gosh.
05:41I've been so sick.
05:42throughout the week and I'm just headphones to porque I'm
05:42ready for it.
05:43Most renewable income.
05:44Are you ready for it?
05:46To get miedo, postmez thing that like the concept!
05:51We'll see if you still be on my own!
05:54These are for Sn contribute, what's up?
06:05So, these are from Travis.
06:08Aww.
06:13Oh, these are so beautiful.
06:17I love that he doesn't even have to sign them anymore.
06:30Being that we have a handful of shows left,
06:32we decided the first show of New Orleans
06:34that we should put some of the swings in.
06:36What a swing is,
06:37is a dancer who can do another track that's not theirs.
06:40So, today wasn't full-out rehearsal.
06:42We're making sure that they know where they're going on stage
06:45so they can hop in.
06:49That's good, guys.
06:50Lovely.
06:51How'd that feel?
06:52Music's fine?
06:53Everybody else feel okay staging-wise?
06:55Yeah.
06:56It's wild how these dancers are so talented.
07:00The other dancers can fill in for someone else
07:04and do their choreography perfectly,
07:07hit their blocking perfectly.
07:08I don't understand how they can do their jobs
07:12and also have the option of doing everyone else's.
07:17Crazy.
07:18Whoever is not in Ready For It
07:20or not potentially in Ready For It
07:22can go back to the dressing room.
07:27A man wanted to rehearse different contingency plans.
07:32And I jokingly said,
07:34oh my goodness, this is going to be one of the last opportunities
07:38I might be able to have to do Ready For It.
07:41And she called me out and she was like,
07:44do you want to do it?
07:45All the dancers love Ready For It,
07:47especially Wiley.
07:48And the boys beg to do it.
07:51Unfortunately for me, it is all female.
07:54I just remember watching it being created
08:00and just living in perpetual envy.
08:03The whole tour.
08:06I land, land, and he can be my.
08:09Beautiful.
08:10That song is really Wiley's style.
08:13He shines when he does that choreography.
08:16I love flipping my hair.
08:25I love being different characters on stage.
08:28I just love performing,
08:31doing really dope moves to really dope music.
08:38The feeling of the song and the lyrics,
08:40it's just, it's a monumental number.
08:43So from the beginning, it was my favorite piece.
08:45And then why this foot goes out right away.
08:51To go down, to go up.
08:54Now I still have to ask Taylor and management
08:59if that's okay,
09:00because usually we have it be an all-female dance.
09:03He's actually going to try on my costume and see if it fits.
09:06And if it fits,
09:07I would love for Wiley to do it
09:09because he's so passionate about doing it.
09:11Good.
09:12Good job, Wiley.
09:13Good job, Wiley.
09:14Good job, Wiley.
09:18You look amazing.
09:20Thank you, everybody.
09:21Woo-hoo!
09:22You're doing it all right.
09:24You look amazing.
09:25Thank you, everybody.
09:26Wooo!
09:27Woo-hoo!
09:28Woo-hoo!
09:29Woo-hoo!
09:30Woo-hoo!
09:31Woo!
09:32Woo-hoo!
09:33Woo!
09:34Woo-hoo!
09:35You know, with this tour,
09:36very like we're not trying to make any points about gender but we just don't really have any
09:43kind of restrictions we got guys in heels and leotards and stuff and we just don't really
09:53think too hard about it right like if you look at look what you made me do you have women and men
09:59dressed up in my former costumes it's not like we just don't really overthink it and i think that's
10:06kind of one of the most fun things about you know the way we've approached this tour we overthink
10:10certain things we let some things just kind of just be naturally individualistic in terms of our
10:17casting and our dancers expression
10:19wiley's such a badass he's been doing this for so many years he's a vet for him to go in tonight
10:37would be awesome
10:38show them your turnpins
10:52oh she's on that's it right yeah
11:10wiley fit into my costume with ease and
11:15if wiley goes in tonight is up to taylor she gets the final say
11:19i'm gonna go to the game yes monday night game
11:24um oh so wiley's dream is to do ready for it amanda's gonna take what do you mean
11:34he wants to dance ready for it okay um but amanda sent me this video
11:39does he have a wardrobe yeah he wants to be the swing tonight
11:46does he just fit in amanda's wardrobe
12:01yes 100 that's amazing
12:08no stop stop stop stop stop
12:28no muscle memory is the first step in like brain atrophy for me
12:41that's why i love my acoustic set so much i love being challenged to come up with different
12:51things to do every night
13:12preparing for the acoustic set is something that
13:16i do because i i don't want to just wing it you know like i want there to be a sense
13:23of quality i would never just get up there and be like guess i'll try something that has
13:29to be purposeful and it has to be well executed like it is always a moment i'm somewhat unprepared
13:35for because i'm rehearsing this a few times in my dressing room and then it's time to bring
13:40it to the stadium stage so there's always a level of sort of like nervous anticipation
13:45of sort of like make sure you remember all these words make sure you remember that this song
13:48transitions into this song but there's also an element of detail that goes into it
13:53it's different it's different cause it's you
14:00there were points in this tour when the tour was the only thing that was really
14:07keeping me going in my life but there were never points in the tour where i thought oh you know
14:21what i want to quit the tour because the tour is hard because the tour is hard no my personal life was hard i went through two breakups on the first half of this tour and that's a lot of breakups actually
14:28the show was what gave me purpose and was what gave me purpose and was what i could use to get me out of bed so
14:35the tour
14:46the tour has never been the hard thing in my life the tour has been the thing that has
14:55to get me out of bed.
14:57So the tour has never been the hard thing in my life.
15:03The tour has been the thing that has allowed me
15:06to find purpose outside of the shit
15:09that was going wrong in my life.
15:11Men will let you down.
15:13The heiress tour never will.
15:25Catastrophic blues moving on so it's easy for me to do.
15:30It's different.
15:32It's different cause it's you.
15:35You know, it really kind of tells your story.
15:38It's so, it's so cool.
15:40It's so different and when you first met.
15:44Who are we talking about now?
15:46Travis, your boyfriend.
15:48That's what I was thinking.
15:50I'm talking, this is about, these are literally two breakup songs.
15:53It's different is a breakup song.
15:54I know.
15:55It's about, it's about.
15:56I just hear the pretty parts of it.
15:58I mean, I'm glad that that's, that you read that into it.
16:00Cause I read into it like that this person
16:02is going through a horrible breakup and they're like,
16:04I can't move on.
16:05And then they do and they go to a big city
16:07and they like find this other sense of self.
16:10I guess so.
16:14Anyway, so is this, is that what you want?
16:16She can't believe that she doesn't have to convince me
16:17to be in love with someone who's good for me.
16:21This one's easy.
16:25All right.
16:26Do you need me?
16:27They need me in there.
16:28Okay.
16:29That's, that's all I have for you.
16:30Okay.
16:31Thank you very much.
16:32My little lucky charm.
16:33Bye.
16:34Bye.
16:35What has Travis brought to the tour?
16:37Well, first of all, he brought himself onto the stage on this tour,
16:41which was one of the funnier moments I can ever remember.
16:45How do I put this?
16:46Travis is like, he's a real, he's a real yes guy.
16:51Like in terms of life itself.
16:53Do you want to be centered in the middle, in the front of it or behind it?
16:56I'm taking your, you're taking me.
16:58Boom.
16:59Whichever you want me to do.
17:00He's just up for anything.
17:02And when I wrote the skit for, I can do it with a broken heart where I had this very dramatic
17:09idea where I want to be a soldier on a battlefield and I'm fatally wounded and I die on the stage
17:17while singing.
17:18And then we have this very sort of like cabaret, dramatic vaudeville kind of skit where I have
17:25to perk up immediately to perform.
17:28I was like, oh, that's, that's exactly the kind of drama I'm trying to put forth here on this tour.
17:33But I remember thinking about the skit and always just being like, if there was ever a point to put Travis
17:40in the show, I think this would be the one.
17:43But I obviously I'm like never going to suggest that because that's like, I don't want to, you don't want to scare people, you know?
17:50Yeah, like she has to be headed on the left side.
17:53Yeah.
17:54I can't remember how it came up.
17:55I think we were just joking around about like him doing it, like him going up there with Cam.
18:00And it became very clear that he like wasn't joking.
18:04And I was like, oh, wait, no, you would do that?
18:07Yes.
18:08It's easier then.
18:09Yeah.
18:10And then we can run.
18:11And he was like, yeah, it would be hilarious.
18:12Come on.
18:13Wake up.
18:14Wake up.
18:16I was like, if you're serious about this, I will send your measurements to wardrobe and they'll get you a tux.
18:22Like, are you serious?
18:23And he's like, put me in.
18:26Like, I'm in.
18:27The way that he just comes to life when the lights are the brightest, people talk about that all the time with him.
18:39They're like, the moment's never too big for Travis.
18:41The lights are never too bright for Travis.
18:43Like, I think that's as a player, he can like slow down time in the most stressful moments.
18:48And that's exactly what we saw on stage.
18:51He got out there and was the most charming, delightful performer you could ever be on the stage with.
19:00Like, his instincts, he's just, he's just so magically entertaining.
19:05He really is one of the happiest people I think I've ever met, which I adore.
19:20He just brought a lot of happiness, which is, I think, what he does in a lot of his circles.
19:29He brings, he brings a lot of happiness to the room.
19:32And that particular night, he brought a lot of happiness to a lot of fans.
19:36It was hilarious.
19:40I can safely say that that was, that was the loudest it ever got on the heiress tour.
19:45The one thing about dance that made me fall in love with it, growing up in Hawaii,
20:14I wasn't the typical masculine local boy.
20:21I felt like I didn't fit in anywhere.
20:27I found dance, or dance found me when I was seven and a half.
20:33They planted a seed of passion in me that I didn't know would blossom into something that would serve me
20:41until now in my life.
20:44It gave me a huge sense of confidence and a huge sense of power and belonging and purpose.
20:54In 2007, when I got into the industry, you had to like fit into a certain stereotype.
21:05Male dancers, they look like this, they dance like this.
21:08Female dancers look like this, they dance like this.
21:10I do love dancing masculine.
21:12It's something I love to do, but I also love dancing feminine, and I also love mixing the two together.
21:17I was always told, Wylie, you're great, but you flip your hair too much, or you're too feminine.
21:23That stuck with me through different jobs being told different things about my appearance.
21:30This job, no one told me I needed to be buff.
21:36Taylor never made me cut my hair.
21:39I wear different color eyeshadows in different nights.
21:43It's been almost 150 shows, and Taylor has once said,
21:48Wylie, please stop doing that.
21:49Never.
21:50I've never been filtered as a person of who I present myself on stage with her,
21:55and neither has any of my coworkers, and that may seem so small,
22:03but as a dancer who has been told to change, to filter himself for almost 20 years,
22:10it is one of the most meaningful things to me.
22:14It is so empowering.
22:18It is so loving.
22:20It is so enriching and so much fun.
22:28Why?
22:29You should practice again.
22:30Because you're doing it tight.
22:40You know, Wylie, as a dancer and a performer, he can really channel that kind of, like, sexy femme side of himself.
22:51Wylie wanting to be in Ready For It was just, like, so refreshing.
22:54So I was like, of course.
22:57I'm fully ready for it.
23:02Crack.
23:03So I'm gonna do one of the fake outs where I, like, sing, I'm gonna sing a chorus of her song,
23:13and the crowd's gonna be like, what?
23:14What's going on?
23:15What's going on?
23:16And then I'm gonna stop, and I'm gonna do this phone call bit, which I'll explain to you in real time.
23:20And then I'm gonna be like, God, that song is stuck in my head.
23:37That song has been stuck in my head for, like, six months.
23:40Um, you guys know Sabrina Carpenter, you know, you know her album.
23:44It's so good.
23:45My friend Sabrina is coming tonight.
23:48She was the opening act on the Ayers tour for South America and Australia.
23:52So she was just on tour with us, like, six months ago.
23:55But since then, her career has skyrocketed.
23:59She's had the biggest song of the year.
24:01The album has been number one consistently since it came out.
24:05She put an arena tour on sale.
24:07It sold out in, like, two seconds.
24:09It's the dream scenario for how you would want your career to go as an artist.
24:12I'm gonna go out on stage, start my acoustic set, and be like,
24:15if you know the words to this one, like, sing along.
24:17I just, I have to, I feel like I can't ever get it out of my head until I sing it.
24:21Okay?
24:22So I'm just trying to, trying to just support me on this, okay?
24:26Now he's thinking about me every night, oh, isn't that sweet, I guess so.
24:33The other day, Erica was like, oh, Sabrina and some friends want to come to the show in New Orleans.
24:37And I look up her tour schedule.
24:38She's got, like, a show yesterday and a show tomorrow in different states.
24:41And I was like, is this, like, child abuse for me to even ask her to perform on her one day off?
24:46I know she's, like, 25, but still.
24:48And they're gonna, like, be, like, losing their minds the whole time.
24:51They're gonna be like, why did she do that?
24:53Something's happening, and they're gonna be like, and they're gonna be punching each other and be like,
24:55no, there's no way she's, Sabrina's not here.
24:58Like, it's just gonna be the craziest moment of the tour.
25:00Yeah.
25:01It's gonna be cute.
25:02Or I could start.
25:03And you can kind of start singing whenever you want, because this is the same chord progression.
25:07And I'm gonna start with the chorus.
25:08Yeah.
25:09Because I love you.
25:10Okay.
25:11Now he's thinking about me every night, oh, is it that sweet, I guess so.
25:17Say you can't sleep, baby, I know.
25:20That's that me espresso.
25:22Move it up, down, left, right, oh.
25:25Switch it up like Nintendo.
25:27Say you can't sleep, baby, I know.
25:30That's that me espresso.
25:32I can't breathe.
25:34Or do we go, oh, yeah, do the chord progressions.
25:36I want you on stage for a million years.
25:37Okay, so I'll wait, I'll wait.
25:38And then that, isn't that, isn't that sweet, I guess so.
25:40I guess.
25:41Okay.
25:46I'm gonna be like, can I please do the line?
25:48I'll be like, you do the line.
25:50I wanna do the line so bad.
25:51Okay, everybody, Taylor's gonna do the line.
25:53I'm gonna do the line.
25:54I'm working late.
25:59Cause I'm a singer.
26:01Oh, he looks so cute.
26:04Wrapped around my finger.
26:06My twisted humor.
26:09Makes him laugh so often.
26:11My honey, baby.
26:14Come get this pollen.
26:16Yeah, let's fast forward to two times.
26:19We'll take out coffees later.
26:21I see your profile and you smile on unsuspecting waiters.
26:26You'll be on my mouth before I called you a lying treater.
26:31You search in every minute's bed for something poor
26:35Baby, was it over when she laid down on your couch?
26:41Was it over when he unbutted my blouse?
26:46Come here, I'll just bring you here on your dream as you passed out
26:50Baby, was it over then?
26:55And is it over now?
26:57And I'll be like, do you know what I kind of want to do next?
27:13I kind of want to be like, since you're here
27:16Please, please, please, don't prove I'm not
27:22Should I do a high one?
27:24Do you want to, um, I can't tell if I want to do
27:26Please, please, please, don't prove I'm right
27:31By the way, no one's going to hear anything
27:33I know
27:34People are just going to be like, freaking out
27:38I felt like a real big idiot
27:40Because the first time you sent me the first version
27:42Which was so genius
27:43It didn't process, the takeout coffee line
27:46Takeout coffee and espresso
27:46Really fits with espresso
27:47Until I literally was in the car on the way here
27:49And I was like, she's so smart
27:52But yeah, that was a big blonde moment for me
27:55It took me a day
27:56But what are the chances it has the same rhythm
27:58I know
27:59And it's in the same key
27:59And so I'm going to get past a phone
28:01Stop
28:02And have it on speakerphone and put it up to the mic
28:05And it'll, like, ring
28:06And you'll be under the stage with a phone
28:09Stop
28:09And be like, hello
28:11I'll say hey in some way
28:13Yeah
28:13In some way that I do
28:14And I'll be like
28:15I'll be like, dude
28:17I'm, I'm performing right now
28:19Like, aren't you playing a show right now
28:21Yeah
28:21Like, aren't you in the middle of a show
28:23I'm, like, watching your live stream
28:25This is so weird
28:25Like, no
28:26Just be like, aren't you playing a show right now
28:28Or something in New Orleans
28:29I'll be like, yeah, about that
28:30I actually just, um
28:32Did, like, a chorus of espresso
28:33And the crowd sang it so loud
28:35That I just had to tell you about it
28:37Oh, that's so cool
28:38Oh, my gosh
28:39What are you doing?
28:44What are, why aren't you here with us?
28:46Why, what are you doing right now?
28:47I'm, obviously
28:48I'm, I'm on, like, a rollercoaster
28:50I'm somewhere where everyone is screaming so loud
28:53Oh
28:55I wish I could be there
29:00I know, it's weird
29:01I'm somewhere where people are screaming really loud, too
29:04I just
29:08Here's the thing, Sabrina
29:10Is there any chance you could get off
29:12the rollercoaster you're on
29:13And, like, put on some clothes
29:15And, and just, like, come down to the stadium real quick?
29:18Oh, yeah
29:19How, like, how
29:20Like, ballpark, how long would that take you?
29:26It would probably take me, like, five seconds
29:29Okay, see you soon
29:33Love you, bye
29:34Sabrina
29:35Sabrina is just like a shooting star
29:51She's so smart
29:53She knows exactly how to entertain people in the way that they want in the moment that she's in
30:01She's just, like, battling herself for number one on the charts all summer
30:04And when you see that happen, you're just, like, go
30:09Fly higher
30:11And then it's even cooler when, like, someone like this will circle back
30:15And, like, bless us with their magic
30:19Please, please, please, please
30:22Don't prove I'm right
30:25Please, please, please
30:32Don't bring me to tears when I just did my makeup so nice
30:38Heartbreak is one thing
30:40My ego's another
30:42Well, I'll bet you don't embarrass me
30:45Motherfucker, I'm
30:49Please, please, please
30:54Hey
30:55Now he's thinking about me
30:58Every night, oh, is it that sweet?
31:01I could, so
31:02So you can't sleep, baby, I know
31:04Cast that me espresso
31:06And is it open now?
31:12Well, that's that me espresso
31:16Let's fast forward to 300 takeout coffees later
31:21Mmm
31:22That's that me espresso
31:25My girl!
31:49It's fucking time!
31:53It's time!
31:55It's time!
31:55I have to say that this job is pretty scary
32:14I mean that because of how big it is
32:19So many eyes on you
32:24Venues we go to have almost 100,000 people there every night
32:29I can't believe this is happening
32:34I'm gagging
32:36If I think too much about what this tour is
32:39And how big of an impact it has
32:42I am riddled with anxiety and fear
32:45So loud
32:46All I want to do is represent Taylor well
33:04We are extensions of her right now in this job
33:07I just want to continue the message of what she's trying to say
33:14And I want to give that integrity to it
33:23We are still hopes
33:30Want to kill her baby?
33:33We are still here
33:34You're still here
33:35Are you still here?
33:36I think
33:37I'm still there
33:38Are you still here?
33:40Oh, my God.
34:10Oh, my God.
34:40Oh, my God.
34:42Oh, my God.
34:44Oh, my God.
34:46Oh, my God.
34:48Oh, my God.
34:50Oh, my God.
34:52Oh, my God.
34:54Oh, my God.
34:56Oh, my God.
34:58Oh, my God.
35:00Oh, my God.
35:02Oh, my God.
35:04Oh, my God.
35:06Oh, my God.
35:08Oh, my God.
35:10Oh, my God.
35:12Are you ready for it?
35:18When I was a robber, the first time that he saw me
35:21Feeling hearts and running up and never saying sorry
35:24I can find a team then, we can join the highest end
35:27We'll go to an island, and, and
35:30She can be my tailor, but she's to the tailor
35:33Every lover coming forever
35:35When I was given the opportunity by Taylor herself
35:39I was so honored, I was so honored that she would be down
35:44That she even trusted me to step in
35:47So last minute like that
35:49But I'm even more honored that I get to share the stage with someone
35:53Who sees me
35:56And not only sees me, she celebrates me
36:03She looks at me on the left
36:05Are you ready for it?
36:06And she had like the biggest smile on her face
36:08And the shiniest sparkle in her eye
36:14It's not really that often where a male dancer can do like a female swinging part
36:19And even be allowed to like flourish as much as he wants in that part
36:25I wanna be that example
36:28For anyone, any person
36:30Male, female, non-binary
36:32I want them to feel seen just like how I felt seen by Taylor
36:37I can't believe that the cities would be completely transformed into
36:54Really revolving around and catering to the fans that were coming in for the shows
37:11It blows my mind
37:14There's definitely this safety net or bubble
37:17That we're sort of encapsulated in
37:20And inside of it is just this joyous phenomenon that we get to share
37:26People are having this special experience where they're singing and dancing
37:31Listening to songs that some people grew up with
37:35Some people are just starting to love
37:37And it really lets them have this moment in time that they'll never forget
37:42This tour just cultivates, I think, just good energy
38:00It doesn't matter who you are, what age you are
38:04I feel like there's just a different type of tour
38:06Her kindness and joy she has brought to the workspace is unheard of
38:12And it rubs off on all of us
38:23Gracie texts me, she's like, I knew you were tall, but like, check this out
38:27I'm like on the side of the hotel, like a million feet tall
38:31I used to have this joke, and that's part of why I wrote Antihero
38:33I was like, I'm like a 5 foot 10 woman followed around by a 500 foot tall
38:39Like monster shadow, and this like monster just like knocks over buildings
38:46And like wreaks all this havoc
38:50And the me being that size tall on a hotel, I'm like, yeah
38:55That's kind of how it feels sometimes
38:57We are playing indie three nights, and that'll be the last time we do the heiress tour show in America
39:12And it is like five days before the presidential election
39:16The one thing I can provide from people is an escape
39:19Like nothing could ever or should ever bother any of us
39:21And nothing will for three and a half hours
39:23And nothing will for three and a half hours
39:25I'm glad that I will have given just a hundred percent girlhood and hope and belief and sweat and effort
39:38Because that's the job
39:40So am I good to say to Trav that I can offer him if he wants to sit with my family?
39:59Yeah, I think that's a great idea
40:01As many as they want
40:02Okay, I'll tell him the whole group or whoever he's going to want
40:05What are the, um, songs for today?
40:09Well, I was thinking
40:12I could do the prophecy into this love
40:17And I could do maroon into cowboy like me
40:21That sounds amazing
40:23That sounds amazing
40:24That sounds amazing
40:26That sounds amazing
40:29That sounds amazing
40:31That sounds amazing
40:32God.
40:42Clear the blue water, high tide came and brought you in.
40:51And I could go on and on, on and on.
40:55Skies grew darker, currents swept you out again, but you just...
41:05Relationships on tour has always been something I've really struggled with because it always felt like the tour was taking away from the relationship.
41:12Somehow I was not able to do both and feel like I was nurturing both at the same time, even though I would try and try and try and try.
41:22Somehow there's been this dynamic shift with Travis because it's shocking how many similarities we have towards our jobs and how we view them and how we view each other.
41:37We both have jobs where we go out in NFL stadiums and we entertain people for three and a half hours.
41:43His with considerably more violence than mine, but he's not in heels.
41:48But it's our passion.
41:49We've been chasing this since we were little kids.
41:51So I don't think I ever thought I'd meet a guy who had that same trajectory.
41:59Travis has three guys on him.
42:02Well, yeah, because he's special.
42:03And I've realized that with this person in my life that just was the right fit for me, you can have the two passions coexist and they actually fuel each other.
42:13Oh my God.
42:22Oh, oh, first.
42:24Oh my God.
42:24Oh my God.
42:25Oh my God.
42:25Oh my God.
42:26Yeah.
42:29Well, that was fast.
42:32Come on.
42:42Ultimately, we love cheering each other on.
42:47That's rad.
43:00That's rad.
43:00It's so funny to be on stage.
43:30And to see thousands of Kansas City Chiefs' 87 jerseys.
43:36If you would have shown me, like, this is what your crowd's going to look like in a year before I knew he was going to come into my life, I'd just be like, why are there so many, like, football jerseys out there?
43:48It's a discernible difference in the way the crowd looks.
43:52I swear to God, it's every, like, 12th person has his jersey on.
43:56The fans absolutely love Travis, and I think it's because they can tell that he loves them too, and he just kind of loves all people.
44:09Travis is just very comfortable with, conceptually speaking, a big life, because he has one.
44:26And it's not one that he has reluctantly.
44:29He's very comfortable with it.
44:34I think, ultimately, it's the way he treats me.
44:37It's very clear.
44:39And I think that's one of the reasons why the fans are so in love with him, because you should be, you know?
44:51He's very lovable.
44:51First of all, if you ever would have told me that, like, the most meaningful relationship I would ever have would start with a man saying that he was butthurt, that I didn't want to meet him, like, unbelievable.
45:16Unbelievable.
45:16That was such a tough one.
45:31That was so much fun.
45:33There we go.
