00:00I'm George Crouch, Waverley Station. We're a large-scale beef producer in Scone in the Upper
00:06Hunter. The transmission lines affect us hugely in terms of what we want to try to do, the
00:14progression that we want to do with our properties. And the transmission line study corridor is
00:18proposed through the heart of our most productive land. And it's really hard to understand how
00:29there's such a huge magnitude that it can disrupt our livelihood, not to mention the fact that
00:38our young children, we've got three young children that grow up on our property and they'll be
00:45affected for years to come. And the consultation from EnergyCo has been virtually non-existent.
00:55We feel that we've not heard. We feel that we're trying to be silenced. And I don't think
01:03that's fair for any person living in this wonderful country that we live in. We're all taxpayers.
01:09And I think these infrastructure programs should really benefit all taxpayers, not hinder them.
01:18We oppose the transmission lines. And we want to be heard and we want to find a solution to
01:25attention to our responsibility. And we want to workers who can't be connected. And we want to
01:45improve noise. And we have to frame those responsibilities in order to even clean due to
