Transcript
00:00We've had a few storms in the area over the last week which has sort of, you know, got the competition
00:05going pretty well. A lot of people have come in to probably buy a few cattle where they probably
00:09weren't thinking that a couple of weeks ago. The market in general is very strong I believe,
00:14especially on the Angus cattle. We've seen, you know, to the effect of cattle making between
00:19sort of $4.80 and $5.50 today through all categories of those livestock and a few even
00:24better sales than some of those a bit more superior sort of strengthy calves. But you're not at all
00:30everyone's very positive about things. We've got the heifers yet to go. That'll be an interesting
00:35gauge of where it's all up to. But the steer sales so far, they're very strong on the weight of cattle.
00:40The cattle that are weighing sort of $3.50 to $4.50 kilos was very evident from the Queenslanders
00:45and the local feedlotters. It was a very strong market.
