00:00Congratulations. How would you describe this feeling? I mean, it's got to be kind of pretty emotional from the last iteration and now be here now. What are the emotions going through your mind?
00:10Well, you know, I haven't I haven't seen anything and I won't I don't watch my own work, but I've been starting to hear from some people talking about how much they like it. And it is always that little feeling of like, oh, God, oh, God, oh, God, I hope it's good. I hope it's good. I hope they don't hate me. And I had a moment of like my heart kind of beating out of my chest.
00:26So I feel like I'm kind of coming down from a high and being able to relax a little bit and say, OK, great.
00:32We we work so hard on this and it's paying off. And I'm just grateful and relieved. And I'm now going to go nap for 30 years.
00:41No, a well-deserved nap for sure. Now, how would you describe that first day back on set reuniting with everyone?
00:48And did you think that that day would ever come or did you really think that it was going to be the end the last time around?
00:53Yeah, I was definitely in the cynic camp. I did not think it would be coming back.
00:58So then to come back on that set and I think our first scene was Charlie Eldon and myself.
01:03It was, you know, Nelson Murdoch and Paige and walking down the street and just getting back into the groove of that.
01:09It felt so easy, so natural. We were right back into the old jokes.
01:13And I don't know, I I just love those guys so much.
01:16And I I don't I wouldn't want to do this any other way than with all of us, you know, and having that.
01:22Yeah, for sure. And I know, you know, sometimes when there are big changes between productions and kind of moving streamers or studios,
01:30they don't always bring back the same cast. So what was that like?
01:34And were you surprised when you're like, oh, we're putting the gang back together?
01:37Yeah, no, I mean, I think, you know, these industries, these companies are so huge and nothing is ever personal because it can't be.
01:43But you always have that little voice. It's like, oh, I guess I'm not good enough or whatever it is.
01:48So it was really gratifying and validating on like an embarrassing level, probably to have been invited back and sort of say, OK,
01:56we think that this is this is a story worth continuing to tell. So I appreciate it.
02:01And a testament to the fans and the fandom and how much they've all supported you guys as well.
02:05Was there anything new that you really wanted to explore with Karen this time around that you maybe didn't get to fully flesh out last time?
02:12Absolutely. I mean, I think we were only just digging into her past and some of the kind of disguise that Karen wears on a daily basis
02:20and what she's hiding. So I was so excited to come back and really dive more into that and explore a bit more of
02:26who's the kind of darker, scarier Karen underneath the facade. So I can't wait.
02:31Right here.
02:31Right here.
