07:05like a major city there'll be a decent bus route to Euribia but we could go by the coast to Carter
07:12Gaynor there must be a reason why it's so popular with backpackers it must be well connected and it
07:17would be nice to see the coast one last time yeah let's do it you ready yeah me and moles are
07:24putting into play everything that has went well for us on this trip so far maybe we can jump on
07:29another overnight bus that's a really good plan using well-connected destinations along a backpacker
07:35route the Molly and Tyler strategy is coming into full effect on this final stretch we've got to win
07:41this man the couple's plan head straight to the Caribbean coast to Cartagena to take advantage
07:49of its transport links to propel them towards Euribia oh I'm excited I like this energy I'm very
07:58competitive I just like winning it's fun the fact that we've got such a clear route in our head
08:05fills me with confidence if Molly loses it's like you just sneezed on her forehead like she is fuming

09:45in their last leg the thing that gave Molly and Tyler the win was that overnight bus if we could get a
09:53night bus to Baron Queer that would be amazing then after that we head to Santa Marta and then the
09:58next town the next town let's just try and get close to Jack point last leg it all comes down to this
10:04hopefully we'll make it to that book and there's no names in the book chasing Molly and Tyler to
10:16the coast Roman and Harley Moon are aiming further north to Baron Queer then plan to city hop via Santa
10:23Marta towards Uribia okay I've got that nervous sick feeling I'm gonna be on edge about every decision
10:32that we're about to make a lot of these legs didn't go our way we need some good luck if we won the race I

12:52judge if we have enough money but everyone's in it now aren't they everyone is in it with their eye
12:57on the prize even when we've been in the trickiest of situations somehow we've managed to get out of
13:04them every second we'll be focused on getting closer to that finish line we want to finish first
13:10whatever happens I think we should all be really proud of ourselves if you'd told me in leg one that
13:18I'll be still here leg five I wouldn't oblige it's been difficult there's a huge gap of a day with the
13:25other two teams that we shouldn't lose faith but hey we won one it was amazing anything can happen

13:51just putting the bags on the people that are getting out laughs but then hopefully they'll shout
13:58out of barranquilla Santa Marta Santa Marta this bus goes to Santa Marta where we wanted to go from
14:08barranquilla that is so silly we didn't even ask about Santa Marta we can ask the bus driver and see if
14:15we can just try and stay on Roman and Harley Moon spot an opportunity to save crucial time avoiding a
14:23change in barranquilla would take them 100 kilometers further along the coastline on the same bus
14:28senior the letter is part of barranquilla it's possible I got a Santa Marta and barranquilla miramos
14:38it's not possible Barranquilla comprelotro ticket to Santa Marta so we need to go ticket office at barranquilla
14:45yeah so we've got to get off the bus go into the office buy a ticket get back on the bus before it
14:50leaves right we really have tried to win a leg and we've come up short every single time so I just
15:01want to keep moving because this is our last chance where's Arabia 4 15 a.m. got it Anita and dad
15:15bow are starting their big push to get back in the running my instinct is in land that looks the
15:22director's route doesn't it look a moranger that's a big city they'll have direct connections and that's
15:28how we can catch up yeah hopefully we can get there today and then we move up to Uriba that
15:35would be the dream we're away definitely feeling the pressure this morning there are two teams
15:40already in front of us with an 18-hour advantage oh there's a taxi lot excellent but there being some
15:47legs where the wind is beneath it I'm hoping this is going to be one of those unlike the two teams
15:54already on route to the coast Anita and Bal are hoping to travel a shorter overall distance by
16:00plotting a course east to the transport hub of Bukaramanga before heading north to Uriba we're on the
16:07moon I'm happy winning the race would be amazing what an achievement and to have done it with my dad
16:15that would be it let's go final push dad we're going to win because it's strong we're fit we're
16:23determined and we Yorkshire yep those tickets for a Bukaramanga there's a eight o'clock one that would
16:34be perfect for us I want to request that you have got them on it okay perfect we're on the next bus we're
16:42on the up dad we're on the up as Anita and Bal capitalize on their early start with a quick
16:48getaway from Medellin last night someone had their cat just running around the bus Roman and Harley Moon
16:56and Molly and Tyler have been progressing neck and neck through the night with the siblings now just edging
17:02ahead this is a long bus was still not even there yeah oh my god oh that's really made me really sad
17:19oh tell me Dylan and Jackie have decided to leave the race oh no they waste your luck reaching the
17:27finish line now just three teams will compete in the final leg well that's really sad news mom oh they
17:35were so close to finishing it you cannot underestimate just how difficult this race is maybe they did what's
17:43right for them yeah that's good well that's divine oh god how are you feeling it's tough I mean the budget we've counted it so many times but we can probably survive a day and a half yeah Mexico sort of killed us to start with and then we were chasing all the time this is a sad news day
18:12Bank of Dillon is closing down I think and uh we're bankrupt but it's not just the money this race is so tough I also am very tired
18:27we've tried our hardest and we just want to bow out on our own terms with our heads held high
18:34we gave our all we should take that as a positive for us both that's it the race has made me realize that I should have more faith in myself and to embrace life I've seen you go on another level of strength I feel like a new woman and
18:53and um yeah it's taken me nearly 60 years to feel like this but I'm a better person for the whole experience
19:02seeing you be strong makes me strong as well
19:06my mom has helped me grow she's got that best version of Dillon out of me hopefully I can continue to be a better Dillon
19:17this journey has been amazing it's shown me that there's like a whole world out there
19:27and I'll always keep this with me we have so many memories seeing all the wildlife and also getting
19:37to know people in other countries as well it's been special sharing it with Dillon
19:42meant the world to me yeah and me too and our family are going to be in the state of shock yeah
19:49I'm over the moon that Dillon has developed in this five weeks incredibly and um
19:59I feel quite emotional about it but I'm really proud of him and excited for him and just love him to bits
20:09we've done things we would never ever dream of doing it was incredible wasn't it yeah
20:15with just three teams left racing to the finish line we're nearly at the coast which is pretty good
20:27going Roman and Harley Moon are arriving in the city of Barranquilla this could be make or break of the
20:36leg because we could build some serious hours if we can get to Santa Marta on this bus it could really
20:42change our position okay that's gonna be a dash with just a 15-minute set down go go go go go failure
20:51to secure tickets means the siblings must face the uncertainty of the next departure

26:42the race is without that one of the toughest things that i've ever done in my whole entire life
26:47but it has proved to us how much of a team we are and as if i thought i couldn't be any more
26:52close to her it's happened i was worried we'd find this situation like so high pressure that
27:01it would put pressure on us as a relationship i knew that we're in love and i love you but
27:08this has just taken it up so much more i've felt the most amount of love over these few weeks
27:20so guess we did this if we don't win rematch
27:23it's so annoying that we arrived here so much later you've got two choices moan about it we get
27:35over it all right moan about it it is following a two-hour traffic jam roman and hartley moon have
27:42finally reached the small beach town of palomino thank you man could i ask you tomorrow do you
27:52know if there's a bus that goes directly to urubia no you need to make a transfer in rio hacha but the
27:59bus isn't here if they don't want to stop they don't stop okay it might be tough getting out of here
28:05having made a leap of almost 400 kilometers via inland highways anita and bal are in the well
28:13connected city of bucaramanga look at this one of your favorite things in the whole wide world a hot
28:20dog how are you feeling about tomorrow very good we've traveled some distance and that's the name of
28:26the game when we started early morning we're 18 hours behind but it's worked out really well so we've got a
28:35good chance to catch up the race is really tough and you're still smiling yeah because i'm enjoying
28:40it all i'm trying new things i mean you've always been adventurous but never had the opportunity but
28:46i think what you've achieved is amazing he's so brave to come do this because it's really hard not
28:53just physically but mentally i'm really proud of him and i know he'd hate me saying this but i really am
28:58i have to keep reminding myself that you're 68 don't remind me i think you're incredible dad
29:07the race it's been really good for me because i've learned a lot about myself
29:13i will now really consider retiring do a bit more traveling and enjoy myself

31:08this one doesn't like the water he's not sure i'm hoping me and roman will keep hanging out
31:17and book some trips together again because i've loved spending time with him
31:24we have so many memories together but all of those memories they've always involved mum and dad what's
31:29great is that this is ours yeah spending this amount of time with harley has been incredible and
31:37i think being ourselves to one another has been fantastic when did you get so special when i don't
31:45know before we came out here harley said to mum i know roe loves me but i don't think he likes me
31:50she knows because it's more than siblings now it's you know back to being best mates

35:14Finally. Luck is on our side. It was fate that that bus pulled up at the right time. I'm so
35:24excited right now. Travelling the same route, Molly and Tyler are in close pursuit of the
35:31siblings. We've covered a lot of ground. We are only a short jump away from Rio Acha and we
35:38still have got money to get a quick taxi transfer to get to Euribia. We got this.
35:47But unable to get back on the road until night time... Well, this has had a little fun
35:52to the tale, but we're here now, aren't we? Anita and Bal are waiting it out. What is
