00:00Just to piss people off, we've just been doing that.

00:04Days of the Hot Back, for those of you that don't know, a lot of the time you're not supposed to poop on tour.

00:09It's super nice having a dirty towel in between your nice jackets.

00:30Hello Bus Invaders, we're Grayscale, come on in.

00:50We're Grayscale, we're out with our last night promoting our new record The Heart which came

00:53out January of this year.

00:55Our bus theme this tour is Bikini Bottom.

00:58Let's take a look at some of the decorations, shall we?

01:02We have this light from Amazon, we've got a Squidward flag, some jellyfish.

01:09We have some in SpongeBob, the flowers are like the skyline and we actually had it across

01:14this entire thing but the first day it fell off because of the air conditioning and stuff

01:17so it's unfortunate.

01:18We have a nice chic painting of Squidward over there.

01:22You see there's a Bikini Bottom sign back there, welcome to Bikini Bottom, yeah.

01:26A little welcome to Bikini Bottom.

01:30A hot bag with a dick, sorry about that.

01:32I didn't know that was going to be on there.

01:34But Days Without Hot Bag, for those of you that don't know, a lot of the time you're not

01:40supposed to poop on tour because nine people, it's one thing when it's like, you know, family

01:46traveling but when you're on a bus or a bandwagon or RV or anything like that, having like nine

01:51adults poop is not a fun thing, especially on a summer tour.

01:55So a hot bag comes in the instance where you have to emergency shit into a bag because

02:00you're not going to make it to a public bathroom outside.

02:03It's only number one in the bathroom.

02:05Okay, here's our TV.

02:07We've been playing a lot of NCAA 26, the video game.

02:12I think Battlefield 6 just came out, it's like a shooter.

02:15I don't play that, but Andrew plays it a lot.

02:17So it's been fun having four controllers and eight, nine people watching one person do a

02:22shooter.

02:23It's a great time.

02:24I wouldn't much prefer playing four player games, but that's show business, you know,

02:26it is what it is.

02:27Up here, this is my storage area, this backpack, a windbreaker, a hoodie, a little mini hat collection

02:36back here.

02:37I don't know who this is, it might be Jake's, just a bunch of clothes, just a bunch of shit

02:42thrown in there.

02:43Here's a bunk, this Jake's bunk, he's our media guy, so he's got all kinds of like equipment

02:47and stuff.

02:48A little nice clip on fan, I should do something like that honestly, I get hot in that, I run

02:52hot.

02:53And this is kind of like our communal bench and if we ever have like friends or visitors

02:57or anybody coming out, this converts into a bed.

03:01And this is the, this is our living room, this is where we spend a lot of time just kind

03:06of hanging.

03:07If we're playing video games, watching movies, it's usually two people here, somebody in

03:10the community couch, somebody will crawl up here, um, that kind of seats four or five

03:15right there.

03:16And then, I like sitting this way when we're moving and looking out, but I know some people

03:19get car sick, but I don't, I fortunately don't get super car sick.

03:23I know Nick and Dallas get it really bad.

03:25This is just, uh, you know those like annoying things that like kids do at the beach, like

03:29all the time.

03:30I don't know who bought these honestly, but I think just to piss people off, we've just

03:34been doing that.

03:36Somebody just did it to be a menace.

03:37I don't know who it was.

03:38I don't really like having these things on, waking people up, but somebody just being an

03:43asshole.

03:44So, yeah.

03:45So we, uh, we have like a, this thing we call peaks and pits at the end of the night.

03:49We go through like our day, like our good and bad things of our day.

03:53And being the SpongeBob theme, we have a fry cook hat and a spatula, which was hilarious

03:57cause this literally was just like, we just Amazon the spatula, which is felt ridiculous

04:02to do.

04:03Like as if we could have just used a used spatula, like one of us just could have brought

04:06a spatula from our house.

04:07And it's particularly funny if somebody has a bad day on tour and they have to wear the

04:11fry cook hat and explain whether day was bad.

04:13We thought that would be funny.

04:14So, uh, no bad days yet though.

04:16So we'll see.

04:17I think, I think the idea is you wear the spatula or you hold the spatula and wear the hat

04:23when you're talking, we own a circle.

04:25You know what I mean?

04:26This talking spat, the fry cook talking spatula.

04:28Yeah.

04:29Uh, and over here we have like a coat rack.

04:31Um, I really love all saints.

04:32They're a great brand.

04:33That's that coat.

04:35And I think the other one's lucky brand and then a dirty towel in between them,

04:38which is super nice having a dirty towel in between your nice jackets.

04:42Highly recommend.

04:43Got additional overhead storage here.

04:45I don't know what's in here.

04:46It looks like some strings.

04:48What the fuck are these?

04:50Bobo's PB and Jake.

04:52I don't know.

04:53A little peanut butter jellies.

04:54I prefer incrustables, but whatever.

04:56Um, just a mixture of hair spray, Lysol wipes, wrinkle release.

05:02We use this a lot.

05:03Like wrinkled clothes, I hate.

05:05And obviously there's not really a lot of room.

05:07Unless you're doing like the hotel thing every day to iron your clothes.

05:09So wrinkle release is a big thing.

05:11The gray skill uses a lot.

05:13Uh, yeah.

05:14And then we got the fridge here.

05:15We have these nice little hooks so shit doesn't come flying throughout the night.

05:18I think that's a smart, nice little addition.

05:20Um, it's basically just, uh, Celsius and coffee.

05:25That's literally it.

05:28This is the second day of tour.

05:30So that's just what we brought from home.

05:32But sometimes our rider, anything left over from the rider, we will bring out here.

05:36But to be honest, the grayscale rider is like bare bones.

05:38It's just beer, uh, Red Bull, water, sometimes whiskey.

05:43That's literally it.

05:44We, we prefer to just like get a little buyout.

05:46We take what you don't have people shop for the rider.

05:49Usually getting cash and we'll just go get food.

05:51Like we love, we love, we're big food people.

05:53So we'll go out and try food places everywhere else in the cities that we're in.

05:57There is, I love Reese's Pieces.

06:02So these are, these are my, I keep these on me at all times, like a box of frozen Reese's Pieces.

06:07I age them in there.

06:08Sometimes on tour I'll have like multiple bags and I'll be like, to piss the guys off.

06:12I'll be like, oh, that one's like nine days aged.

06:14Like I pretend they're like wine.

06:16It pisses Dallas off a lot.

06:18It's good.

06:19Let's do the bathroom.

06:20It's your pretty standard bathroom.

06:23Um, we got another jellyfish in here.

06:25You know, a little bit of SpongeBob theme there.

06:27And then our shower curtain, the boys did a good job with like full on, um, SpongeBob shower curtain.

06:33Yeah, there you go.

06:34That's about it.

06:35And then a Febreze in the corner.

06:37It depends.

06:38A lot of people like, like when we did our tour with small pools, we like had a full, like the bigger bus.

06:43And a lot of people just use the shower for storage, but we love using the shower.

06:47I like, I use the shower in here almost every day.

06:49Like if the venue shower is really nice, I'll do that.

06:51But I kind of like my own little system, even though it's like tiny.

06:55I don't, I don't mind the bus RV bandwagon shower.

06:58Yeah.

06:59Um, and then this is bunk alley.

07:01Nothing really exciting to be honest.

07:03It's just, uh, some bunks.

07:05Here's mine.

07:06Uh, here's my, this is like my gig, my day bag.

07:09I've been doing this recently and we're like, instead of bringing my suitcase in every day

07:13and forgetting things and having to repack it, I just kind of have like my little day bag.

07:18Cause I'm very forgetful.

07:19So I figured worst case, if I forget one pair of clothes and pair of boots and this,

07:24that's much better than forgetting my entire backpack or a suitcase in the venue.

07:28So that's been kind of my new thing.

07:30Um, what else is in here?

07:31I have a little, if you want to come in here, like a, these have a nice little, oh yeah.

07:36I have this little noise machine.

07:37It's kind of ridiculous, but I'm a big noise machine guy.

07:42I've got summer night, we got thunder, ocean.

07:48So that's a big thing for me.

07:49I enjoy noise machines.

07:51This actually has a little led strip here.

07:54So at night, at night I kind of rock like an orange, like a little orange or sometimes blue.

08:00Like that's kind of my vibe at night.

08:02Um, yeah.

08:03And then I got my eye mask and my earplugs cause I'm like very particular about sleep.

08:08So I need an eye mask cause I'm a, I'm a baby with sleep and that's kind of bunk alley.

08:13So, um, I feel the bunk selection process, like the singer diva thing of like,

08:21I need my sleep is that's definitely the way that I am.

08:23And I know it's annoying, but it is what it is.

08:25Cause it's really the only way to truly rest your vocal cords is good sleep.

08:28I think the tops are a little bumpier.

08:31Um, the bottoms I've done bottom in the past, but I think the middle is like,

08:38you get the nice balance of, I think what I don't like about this is the air condition

08:41of the cold air sinks down here.

08:43Um, and it can be like really dry, cold air, which I don't love.

08:47And then up here, the tops are kind of like, I feel like you swing the most.

08:52Um, also sometimes on the bottoms, if you like hit something like underneath the undercarriage

08:57of the, of the bus, like you feel it.

08:59And so I felt the middle is a nice in between where you're not getting rocked up here too

09:03much back and forth.

09:04You're not feeling potholes quite as much and the cold air isn't sinking all the way down.

09:08So that's my, in theory why I like the back.

09:11I'm literally, I'm, I'm usually back middle either left or right.

09:13I'm not, uh, particular about which side, but as long as I'm back middle, that's yeah.

09:17I'm happy, happy boy.
