00:07gonna talk about some of our favorite metal albums. I can start. I would say
00:15Pantera Far Beyond Driven is probably one of my favorite albums I would say if
00:21not my favorite album. I remember years and years ago discovering Pantera but
00:27then having the honor of doing a tour with them years ago on Oz Fest getting
00:31to see the show every single night probably seen them like 30 times. I'm
00:36gonna pick Metallica's Ride the Lightning and the reason is because the Black
00:41album was my real like intro to metal when I was a kid and I thought it was
00:46pretty awesome and then someone I was really young and someone pulled me
00:51aside was like this is what you really have to listen to and that's when I
00:55was like oh I I understand. But you know what I'm gonna and pick the first Korn
01:02album because that album to me shapes who I am as a person and when I was super
01:10super young discovering music for myself like Korn felt like it was like they
01:15were speaking to me. And my second pick is going to be Opeth's Blackwater Park. This is a
01:22band that Morgan and I really bond over. We have seen them several times
01:27together and you know we we had like an every other year going for a bit there.
01:33But Blackwater Park really just opened my mind to the fusion that could be added
01:39into metal. It's another one that I always go back to.
