Then she took him on a tour of North America in her cozy van ❤️ Krista told us how she was eventually able to adopt the street dog she met while traveling in Bolivia, and how the stars aligned for her to be able to adopt Chase so she could take him on all her adventures!

00:00Chase was a street dog that followed me while I was traveling through a town in Bolivia.

00:08He chased down the van until we stopped to pick him up.

00:14Next, he was traveling with us.

00:18From the beginning, I grew this deep bond with him.

00:22When it came time for all of us to part ways,

00:24we were able to find a Bolivian street dog rescue facility.

00:30So unfortunately, it's not the easiest process to import a dog from Bolivia.

00:36What will happen is he'll be in a foster family in the meantime,

00:40and I'll be back in a couple months to pick him up when everything's all ready.

00:44The stars aligned to help bring us back together.

00:49On the way back, he was so good, just laying beside me all the time.

00:54Just landed in Miami.

00:57Almost there.

01:04When he first arrived, he felt like right at home.

01:07Now Chase and I have traveled all around North America in our van.

01:11Good morning. It's bright and early. This one is still asleep.

01:18We've been from Tennessee, through Oklahoma, New Mexico, the Grand Canyon.

01:25From Chase here, we're ready to get our hands and paws dirty here in the Mojave Desert.

01:42I feel like I just grow more and more in love with him every single day, and he's the best friend that I could ever have.
