00:00John, a thoroughly deserved 2-1 win against Altrincham after dominating a lot of the game

00:05there and you had to show a lot of character which obviously had come from behind with

00:08the two late goals as well.

00:09Yeah, I mean, if we'd have won by three goals it wouldn't have flattered us but Altrincham

00:15got themselves into a winning position and we had to wrestle our way for them and that

00:18took a lot of courage and a lot of effort and players stood up on the counter today.

00:25We had to go gungo at the end and push men forward and luckily we delivered with that

00:31but we've got to start being more ruthless in front of goal.

00:34We've squandered chances today that we should never have been in that position.

00:37But having said that, if we'd have won 2-0 I'd have been delighted with a clean sheet.

00:42But winning like that's extra special when he scored two in the last 90 seconds or two

00:47in 90 seconds in the last few minutes.

00:49The fans go home absolutely delighted and it makes it extra special and we've got to

00:55capitalise on that now going forward.

00:56That feeling of euphoria and we've got to try and take it on and start taking our chances.

01:02As you say, winning like that is a euphoria feeling, the fans are going away buzzing and

01:07performances have been good and you've just got to build on that now and really get the

01:12momentum going.

01:13Yeah, I thought we defended Man Utility today, we've limited them to hardly ending and when

01:17we, a team who hasn't won for three months I think in the league, when we went 2-1 up and

01:24he's put nine minutes up.

01:25To be able to, they never had a chance, so to stop them from not having a shot shows you

01:33how well we defended and you know, Christy making his debut alongside Sam and Will and

01:41Illy, you know you've seen them at the end winning the throwing right in front of us, that

01:46shows you the desire and you know when you've got that you've got a great chance of winning games.

01:51So yeah, Christy was obviously straight in for his debut and so pleased with how he went?

01:55Yeah, he did, he was a big strong lad and he gave everything and you could see how much

01:59it meant to win when we won and that's the type of character you need in a position.

02:03And the other guys obviously had he, you know, good reactions as a typical, you know,

02:07striker.

02:08Great striker's goal and then, you know, I'm delighted for him because he did run himself into the ground today,

02:15but Frosty's goal, that's one of the best ones I've seen live for a long time and because we're right

02:20behind it and you're just begging him to get it out and shift it and he couldn't have hit it any better.

02:25I'd say a long stoppage time, but you saw it through really well.

02:28Altrincham didn't create anything there, didn't you?

02:29No, he didn't and you know, that's when we're nervous and we looked nervous in the first half,

02:34if I'm honest.

02:35We've got to, we've got to play above that.

02:37We've got to believe in ourselves, I've said to them, said to the lads in there,

02:40if you don't believe in yourselves and believe in each other, no one will.

02:43And so it's down to us now, you know, it's not down to anybody else.

02:46We're not going to lie on anybody else.

02:48We've got to, we've now got to step up to the plate.

02:50We've got players in there who are good enough and know they're good enough.

02:53Now we've got to start to live in.

02:55Obviously it will be sort of the FA Trophy at Eastleigh next week,

02:58but presumably you want to sort of take that momentum from today and obviously...

03:01You have to, you have to, you have to, you have to keep,

03:03keep a board, the feeling of winning, you have to keep that in the front of your mind

03:09and you have to give it everything you've got.

03:11And I'm pleased with the players that we do give everything we've got.

03:14Since I've been here, you know, they don't leave us anything out there.

03:19And so I'm proud of them.

03:20I've been proud of the way they've played for a long time now.

03:23You know, I've only been here five, five, six weeks,

03:26but I've been proud of the way they've gone about themselves and we haven't got the results.

03:29But I've been also proud of the way the fans have stuck with us,

03:31they've traveled in the numbers to all over the place to come and see us.

03:35And then at home, they could be forgiven for turning on us, but they haven't.

03:40And I'm really delighted that they got the awards on it.
