00:09Our Man-Eye Institute Players of the Game, Man-Eye Institute, see life better.
00:15Tyler, let's start with you.
00:16Who is your Man-Eye Institute Player of the Game?
00:21By the way, Tyler, no hat, hair looks beautiful.
00:23I don't know.
00:24Don't know why you take this away, man.
00:26You didn't put product in.
00:27I didn't.
00:27I mean, look at him.
00:28It looks good, man.
00:29Appreciate it.
00:30Why do you cover that?
00:31God, man.
00:33It's ridiculous, man.
00:35Over the holiday, I wasn't wearing a hat a lot, and my family was like, what's going on?
00:40So, man, I'm trying it out.
00:41I'm trying it out.
00:42It's really selfish, to be honest with you, that you just covered that up.
00:46Anyway, who's your player of the game?
00:47I got to go with the guy who was a pivotal factor in the Texans getting this dub, and he
00:51was pivotal in my fantasy team hopefully getting a win after tonight's Monday Night Football
00:56game.
00:56It's Nico Collins.
00:57He had five receptions for 98 yards, and of course, the one rushing touchdown, what was
01:04that, in the third quarter, fourth quarter or so, that helped propel the Texans to victory.
01:08I go with Big Nico for my player of the game this week.
01:11I like Nico Collins.
01:12I like the, it's just quiet, ain't it?
01:16I mean, he damn near had 100 yards.
01:18And a rushing touchdown.
01:19We're doing a postgame last night, and I hear Sean say, yeah, I almost had 100 yards.
01:23He's like, man, ain't no way.
01:24Didn't even get close.
01:25And you go, oh, yeah.
01:26You know, he really did.
01:27He had 98, and he started looking.
01:28He goes, this play, that play, the 21-yard slant to start with, the play where he stepped
01:31out of bounds.
01:32It should have been a touchdown.
01:33You're like, damn.
01:34I mean, that was a quiet day, right?
01:35I mean, it's just typical Nico to go out there and have a really good day and do it quietly
01:40to where, you know, there's no, there's not really getting the love that he deserves,
01:44which is Nico in a nutshell, really, until the end of the season.
01:48You look like he's a, I mean, the stats he's put up are crazy.
01:51I like Nico in this one as well.
01:53Got him in the running game, too.
01:54Yeah, man.
01:56Yeah, that was, it was a big-time performance.
01:58Toby coming up saying, give me sting, zero catches on him yesterday.
02:02And then he broke up the one that ended up being the last effort for the Colts.
02:08All right, who is your Man-Eye Institute player of the game?
02:11Yeah, I'm going to go with Woody Marks, y'all.
02:13This is kind of a little outside the box thinking here, because I think he had 19 rushes.
02:17I think, was it 19 or was it 16?
02:19What did he end up with?
02:20Let me see.
02:20I think it was 19 rushes for 64 yards, 3.4, no touchdowns.
02:27It's not about the overall game.
02:29It's about two things.
02:30One, clearly his foot is hurt.
02:34Clearly they took him in and did something to get him back on the field.
02:38But the fact that he's, with this foot injury, a running back, going out there and doing what
02:42he's doing and not coming off the field and fighting for reps and getting 70-plus percent
02:47of the reps, that, number one, that's the kind of toughness that we need.
02:51I'm tired of seeing guys make a play and tap their head and go to the damn sideline.
02:55It's good to see a guy that, you know, obviously is dealing with something and he refuses to
02:59come off the field.
03:00I absolutely love it, number one.
03:01Number two, the run that sealed it late.
03:04I mean, we're just, we're seeing a guy that, one, they're committing to, but we're seeing
03:09a talent at the running back position that doesn't need everything blocked up front perfectly
03:14in order to make impact plays.
03:16He's not going for 100 yards, but he's making impact plays.
03:19And last week it was the fourth down and third down to multiple carries where he made somebody
03:24miss in the backfield.
03:25You know, this week it's just, you know, making that little bit of a cutback and going and
03:28getting that first down that ultimately should have allowed us to put a knee in it, but we
03:32decided we was going to hand it to him a few more times and get him hit.
03:35But just, just Woody Marks is, he's my guy for toughness and timeliness.
03:41Yeah.
03:42Yeah.
03:42Woody, Woody really helping this team big time.
03:45Like you said, man, he got hit where it would have been a one yard gain.
03:51And then he just, just kept his balance and kept rolling.
03:56And next thing you know, it was eight yards.
03:57So big time performance from him.
03:59My man, I, Institute player of the game is Dalton Schultz.
04:03His physicality is, I'm not, now he ain't going to be confused as the most physical guy,
04:08but that was great execution and a good design from Nick Caley on the touchdown.
04:14He, he is the lead blocker for Nico Collins and escort him to, to the end zone for that
04:23touchdown, which ultimately became the difference.
04:26And then he had seven catches for, uh, uh, for, for timely yards, first downs, drew a pass interference
04:34penalty, uh, in the, uh, in the end zone or near the end zone, uh, on their opening drive.
04:39So I think Dalton Schultz, his physicality and just, just being there, just being there.
04:45And he's not going down easy, right?
04:47Like he, he turned a couple of, I'm watching that block right now, but he wouldn't got two of them.
04:51Uh, he's not going down.
04:53He turned a couple of what should have been four or five yard gains to eight or nine, uh, which, uh, I thought was big time.
04:59So shout out to, uh, to Dalton Schultz, uh, as, uh, as he is, he looks like a different player.
05:05Well, he's on pace, he's on pace without a doubt to have his best year as a Texan and potentially, uh, what year was that in Dallas?
05:13His last year, 2021 in Dallas, you know, he went for over 800 yards.
05:18I mean, that's the only year that's going to be better than what he ends up totaling this year, I would imagine.
05:22And so he's got a chance to clip that as well.
05:24If he's got a couple of good performances and can stay healthy down the stretch.
05:28So you can argue right now that Dalton Schultz is off to potentially a career year.
05:32And I think the, the most, the biggest part of what Dalton Schultz brings to the tape real stands out is the physicality that he has just decided.
05:40Clearly what we talked about last year was justified because you're seeing a whole different player this year and how he attacks the position.
