00:00Oh, she ready alright. From our latest cover to the MTV Movie and TV Awards stage,
00:13it's no surprise that Tiffany Haddish brought major laughs during her opening monologue
00:18at the awards show on Monday night. The host kicked off the ceremony with a sketch that took
00:22us to Wakanda and put Haddish right in the middle of the Black Panther challenge scene,
00:26where she went head-to-head with T'Challa for the throne. She was even joined by her own tribe,
00:31aka fellow Girls Trip stars Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith. But instead of transforming
00:35into Black Panther after defeating the prince, the magical purple drink turned Haddish into
00:40the last black unicorn. Plus, there was an unexpected and awesome throw to TLC's Waterfalls.
00:50Then the comedian finally took the stage where she showed off her rapping skills,
00:54moving straight into a parody version of Cardi B's Bodak Yellow, which notably featured
00:58a special shout-out to Michael B. Jordan.
01:01You're so sexy, you could probably look a girl in her eyes and get her pregnant right there on eyesight.
01:06And what do you know, after staring into Jordan's powerful eyes, Haddish revealed that's exactly
01:11what can happen. Following her epic song and dance number, the comedian talked about
01:15how it's been a big year of firsts for the black community, including that she's the first
01:19black woman to ever host the MTV Movie and TV Awards. She also shouted out several stars
01:24in the audience, including Zendaya, who she says taught her how to model, while Haddish
01:28taught her how to do a special trick from Girls Trip. And of course, she couldn't forget
01:33the Kardashians.
01:34That family is basically the Star Wars franchise, okay? They make a ton of money.
01:40A new one's always popping up.
01:42Haddish also called out Seth Rogen, aka her favorite bearded white man since
01:46Abraham Lincoln, Jonah's brother Nick Jonas, and the cast of both Riverdale and Stranger Things.
01:52Plus, she had this interesting take on the kid stars of the Netflix series.
01:56She told the crowd,
01:57So, what was your favorite moment from Tiffany Haddish on Monday night?
