00:00Eliza Dushku has offered more insight into the event
00:03surrounding the $9.5 million settlement
00:06she was paid by CBS after reporting sexual harassment
00:09on the set of the network's show, Bull.
00:11I don't understand.
00:12The man who lost that money gambling
00:14and the man who got 100 million wired to him
00:16within minutes of the blast are the same man.
00:19In an op-ed for the Boston Globe published Wednesday,
00:21Dushku claims that Bull star Michael Weatherly
00:24and showrunner Glenn Gordon Caron
00:26have pushed a deceptive narrative
00:28and retaliated against her for simply asking
00:31to do my job without relentless sexual harassment.
00:33An initial New York Times report published last week,
00:36Dushku levied allegations against Weatherly
00:38of constant sexual harassment while on set,
00:41including the actor saying he would pull her over his knee
00:43and spank her in front of the cast and crew.
00:45When the actors brought the allegations to CBS,
00:48she says she was offered the $9.5 million settlement
00:50to exit the show.
00:51Dushku wrote in her Globe op-ed,
00:53this is not a he said, she said case.
00:56Weatherly's behavior was captured
00:57on CBS's own videotape recordings.
00:59The actor said she declined an interview for the Times piece
01:02to honor the terms of my settlement with the network,
01:05but says that Weatherly and Caron,
01:07who have both commented on the allegations,
01:09issued statements that amounted to more deflection,
01:12denial and spin.
01:14Dushku said she went to Weatherly directly with her complaints
01:17about his behavior to make him an ally,
01:19but as she learned later during her settlement hearings,
01:22Weatherly had texted CBS TV president David Staff
01:25shortly after her initial meeting to essentially ask Dushku
01:28be written off the show.
01:29The actress also levied blame on the showrunner,
01:31who she said wrote me off the show
01:33within 48 hours of my complaints about Weatherly.
