00:00I have two kidneys, right?
00:02Yeah.
00:03Why do I need two?
00:05You don't?
00:07Well then guess who's getting a kidney?
00:10The CBS comedy Be Positive is overhauling its cast and premise ahead of its second season.
00:15The show's first season revolved around Thomas Middleditch's character Drew,
00:18a recently divorced therapist who needed a new kidney,
00:21and his growing friendship with Gina, played by Annalee Ashford,
00:24a former acquaintance who turned out to be his donor.
00:26With the kidney donation having happened at the end of last season,
00:29Be Positive needed a new setting to help fuel its stories.
00:33Season 2 of the comedy will focus on the assisted living facility where Gina works.
00:37I like big butts and I cannot lie, you other brothers can't deny diabetics.
00:43And a girl walks in with a bitty bitty waist and a round thing in your face.
00:47Meanwhile, the show has upped Linda Lavin, David Anthony Higgins,
00:50and Daryl Stevens to series regulars after they recurred last season.
00:53It's also added six actors as recurring players.
00:56Producer Chuck Lorre said in a statement,
00:58Having donated a kidney and saved a man's life,
01:00Gina has learned that happiness is in the giving, not the getting.
01:03She's putting this principle to work by trying to improve the lives of the elderly residents of Valley Hills,
01:08the assisted living facility where she's been working.
01:11In the meantime, Drew is struggling with a strange new feeling.
01:14Post-surgery, he's convinced he's in love with Gina.
01:16It's complicated.
01:17Season 1 regulars Kether Donohue, Sarah Rue, Izzy G, and Terrence Terrell are all set to return.
