Transcript
00:00Hello there. It's going to be a bright and dry end to the weekend, but as we head in
00:05towards the next week, things do start to change and start to become a lot more unsettled.
00:10But for this morning at least, we still have an ice warning in force across northern England,
00:14but it will be a chilly start, especially across Scotland as well, where we could still
00:18see some icy stretches. But otherwise, through the afternoon, some nice bright sunshine,
00:23maybe just one or two showers just creeping in towards the western coast. But it will
00:27be a cold start even within that sunshine. Much of the temperatures struggling to get
00:31above those mid-single figures, a little bit milder towards the southwest, but otherwise
00:35a chilly end towards the weekend. Now, all eyes do turn towards this band of rain that is moving
00:41in towards Northern Ireland. It will continue to push its way eastwards overnight tonight,
00:46and we do have a number of weather warnings coming into force across northwest England,
00:51the west country, and amber warning across south Wales as well. Now, it still will be a chilly start
00:58to Monday. Again, temperatures around the low single figures, but just above freezing as it is
01:03drawing in some milder air across the south. Now, this rain is going to be persistent and it is going
01:09to be heavy, like I said, especially across south Wales where we have that amber warning. So do take
01:13care. We are expecting some flooding and there is going to be plenty of disruption. So do look out for
01:18your travel information if you are looking to get out and about. But otherwise, we do have some
01:23sunnier spells developing across Scotland, maybe just one or two showers here. But that rain will
01:29persist through much of the afternoon and into the evening as we head through the day. Temperatures
01:35wise, it is going to be around those mid-teens and it is going to be a blustery day once again. Those
01:40winds are going to be pretty strong and they could see some coastal gales across those southern
01:44coast as well. Now, for all the updates on our warnings, do head over to our website and
