00:00And this is a wild night. Do you have a game plan going in for Vanity Fair, or do you got your comfortable shoes on?
00:06I got comfortable shoes. Probably just have a cocktail and mill about. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:11Were you able to see the Oscars? What was the highlight for you?
00:14I was really happy Zoe Saldana won. I was really happy about that. Yeah, she's brilliant, and she's, yeah, she's a special person and just such a beautiful actress.
00:24I know Ariana Grande, she said that award season is kind of like a weird sleepaway camp where you see the same people over and over.
00:31Is that how you would describe it?
00:33Oh, for sure, yeah. I mean, I kind of kept it mellow this year, but last year, yeah, I mean, you go in all these parties, you see the same people, and yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:42Is there someone that you're going to miss running into?
00:46Pye Harrison. Yeah, Pye Harrison. Yeah, I love running into that guy. Yeah, yeah.
00:52Okay, I want to ask you a couple of Hollywood firsts, since it's fitting for the occasion.
00:56What's the first movie that you saw that made you want to make movies?
01:01Funny enough, it was The People vs. Larry Flint, which is a strange choice, but I was probably eight years old, and I watched it on HBO like three times in a row.
01:12I was just sort of blown away. It was so graphic and wild, and yeah, it's an odd one, but that was probably that one.
01:19And probably when I saw American Psycho as well for the first time. Yeah, yeah, I love that movie.
01:28Who was the first person that left you starstruck?
01:33That's a good question. That's a really good question. I don't really get starstruck too much.
01:39You keep it pretty even keel.
01:41Yeah, I mean, I met Tom York once, and I was like, it's usually musicians, honestly. Yeah, usually musicians.
01:49I used to work at the Magic Castle when I was in my early 20s, and I met a lot of people working there, and I met Jack White there, and I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:58Anyone that you're hoping to run into that you're like, I can't leave without saying hi to this person?
02:02I'd love to run into Chalamet. I just watched A Complete Unknown, and I thought that he just blew me away. Just blew me away in that film. Yeah, yeah.
02:12And finally, I know you're very supportive over your female co-stars as well. Blake Lively, how are you hoping to support her during this time?
02:18I mean, I just, I just, it's a tough situation, and I just hope everyone remembers what the movie's about and why we made it in the first place, and it's about love, and it's about supporting women in general and helping people through tough times.
02:38And that movie's helped so many people, and I just want people to remember, like, what it's about and why we made it and to kind of keep it on that, that kind of, like, core ethos, you know what I mean?
