00:00What's like the game plan to go into this? I heard you need comfortable shoes. It's like an all-nighter event.
00:05Yeah, so I got comfortable dance shoes. They gave me two options today. They said thin socks or thick socks.
00:10I went thick because of dancing. There's going to be a lot of dancing.
00:13Because of the dancing or because it's cold out here?
00:15Because of the dancing. I mean, I'm going to go in there and dance. Yeah, if people want to stand around and chat,
00:19there's other events for that, but this is to dance.
00:22What's the song that's getting you on the dance floor?
00:24Today? Ooh. I say this all the time, but they're not going to play it.
00:28But Gasolina or Yo Perreo Sola? Oh, Yo Perreo Sola.
00:31Yo Perreo Sola. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:33That's a deep cut. That's a deep cut.
00:35And Gasolina is obviously, like, that's a place that, it's such a class.
00:39It was my high school, like, people went to my high school.
00:42And so we listened to it, like, being like, oh, that's a, oh, wait, that's that Yankee.
00:46What am I saying? Jesus Christ.
00:48That's the millennial, that's the millennial, like, get you on the dance floor.
00:52Yeah, but that works to this day. And so they're not going to play that.
00:57Are they taking requests? Maybe they might.
00:59I'm going to try to take over the DJ booth for a second, yeah.
01:01Did you watch the Oscars tonight? What was the highlight for you?
01:04Monica Barbaro. So having done Top Gun with her, and she's one of my best buds,
01:09and seeing her name up there and, like, all her work being received in the way it has been,
01:15like, to me, one of my most beautiful moments of my career, which is to even know, like,
01:19it's like, it's her career, but I feel, like, so connected to, like, watching her succeed
01:25and the work she puts into it. Yeah, it was beautiful to watch.
01:28Well, talk about your career the last few years, but this last year especially,
01:32Captain America 4. I mean, what has the reception to that been like for you?
01:36It's been amazing to see there's so many people that have DMed me about feeling represented,
01:44and it's obviously a talking piece, and a lot of people are like, representation matters
01:48in the very literal sense, but then to feel the literal effects that people have,
01:53and some people outright saying, like, I'm going to pursue my passions in this,
01:57so I'm going to do that because you've done this has been a weird kind of zeitgeisty, like,
02:02like, I don't know, it's a part of the zeitgeist of, like, representing,
02:05but when it becomes, like, when you put flesh and blood to these statements,
02:10I think that's where, to me, it's made the biggest impact.
02:12It's seeing a little kid that's, like, running around with a toy or saying, like,
02:16yeah, I can fly too, and it's like, yeah, you can. Yeah.
02:19You also have The Last of Us coming up. What can you tell us about it?
02:22What did you think when you first read the scripts for season two?
02:25Well, I've said this before, and I'll say it again, it's going to fuck people up.
02:29Oh, sorry, I curse. Yeah, it's going to mess people up.
02:32It's Craig Mason. I mean, the first season did.
02:35Yeah, Craig is Craig, and Craig, he knows drama.
02:39He's obviously the whole cast from Pedro.
02:42It's another, like, all-star group of people that get to believe in the story
02:47that they all want to partake in and all throw it down together, and so that's all I'll say.
02:52What can you tease about your character?
02:54Manny is... Manny's Manny.
02:59Yeah, you'll learn a little bit more about him as it comes, and so, yeah.
03:05We're excited, for sure. I know, we'll have to wait. When does it come out? April?
03:09April 13th. April 13th.
03:12Well, stay tuned.
03:14Yep, Jeff.
03:15.
03:19.
03:24.
03:25.
