00:03night's biggest moments. Here's everything that went down at the 2019
00:07Emmys. The Emmy Awards went hostless this year but the show still went on,
00:13opening with Homer Simpson being taken out, Anthony Anderson jumping in to
00:18steal some statues with his mom, and Bryan Cranston helping kick
00:23things off along with laugh-out-loud moments from Ben Stiller and Bob Newhart.
00:26I'm still alive. Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel came out to present and throw
00:32some hate on the hostless show. You know who the real victims are here? It's us.
00:37You would have been a great host. You would have been even better Stephen. I know.
00:41Meanwhile, lead actress in a comedy series went to Phoebe Waller-Bridge a Fleabag,
00:45beating Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Rachel Brosnahan, Natasha Lyonne, Christina Applegate,
00:49and Catherine O'Hara. Thank you to be nominated with these unbelievable actresses
00:54who I have looked up to and watched. Fleabag also won for writing for a comedy
00:58series, directing for a comedy series, and the night's big comedy series award.
01:02From Kit Harington to Emilia Clarke to Sophie Turner, the Game of Thrones cast
01:06all hit the stage together and received a standing ovation.
01:08Tonight is a chance to once again thank all of those who watched.
01:12Thrones star Peter Dinklage later took home supporting actor in a drama series.
01:16The whole Veep cast also showed up and brought the funny.

01:23And the audience went wild when newcomer Jarrell Jerome of When They See Us took home the gold
01:27for lead actor in a limited series over Mahershala Ali, Vinicio Del Toro, Hugh Grant, Jared Harris,
01:32and Sam Rockwell.
01:33I feel like I should just be in the Bronx right now.
01:36As for the night's other big winners, Billy Porter also brought the crowd to their feet,
01:40getting the lead actor in a drama series Emmy for Pose.

01:47Celia Garner scored supporting actress in a drama series for Ozark and her co-star Jason Bateman
01:51won best directing for the show.
01:53Killing Eve's Jodie Comer gave co-star and fellow nominee Sandra Oh a huge hug before accepting
01:58her trophy for lead actress in a drama series.
02:01And no surprise ending here, Game of Thrones slashed the competition winning best drama series
02:05at their final Emmys.
