The singer-songwriter explained why she avoided doing press for her last album and teased more of what people can expect from her new album, including hinting at more Easter eggs in the 'ME!' video.

00:04Oh, really?

00:05Taylor Swift defeated Thanos? Not quite.

00:11Taylor made her first appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in four years on Wednesday

00:15and opened up about how she leaves Easter eggs for her Swifties in her music videos

00:18and in interviews and basically everywhere because she loves making us lose our minds.

00:22But with all that sleuthing and speculating, we Swifties can't get it right every time.

00:25So Ellen asked the Mii singer just how far off her fans have been with something they thought was an Easter egg but totally wasn't.

00:32T-Swift called to mind when some Swifties thought she might have something to do with Avengers Endgame.

00:37Because we had the single coming out the same day and I have a song that was called Endgame

00:40and so they were like, oh my god, she's gonna defeat Thanos and I let everyone down again.

00:47As a Swiftie, I'm just glad she didn't call us out for the whole five holes in the fence theory again.

00:51During her appearance on the talk show, Tay also played a round of burning questions

00:55where she opened up about her favorite TV shows, her favorite movies she saw this week

00:58and addressed one of her most memorable Ellen Show moments.

01:02When the host asked Taylor about the most rebellious thing she did as a teenager,

01:05the singer-songwriter said this.

01:07Probably when I like put Joe Jonas on blast on your show.

01:10That was too much.

01:12Yeah, that was too much.

01:15Of course, Taylor was referencing this iconic time in pop culture history that was,

01:19if you can believe it, 11 years ago in 2008.

01:22And when I look at that person, I'm not even gonna be able to remember

01:26the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18.

01:30Ooh, the shade was so real then.

01:32But Tay admitted she and the Jonas Brother can laugh about it now.

01:35I promise that you'll never find another like me.
