00:00High-rated quarterbacks go to Penn State and somehow don't turn out all that great.
00:04But Pete Thamel reports here, quote,
00:06I'm going to be a better version of myself out of this,
00:08spoke to Penn State quarterback Drew Aller,
00:11who's made a full recovery from his broken ankle
00:13and looking ahead to throwing for teams at either the NFL Combine or a pro day.
00:19Drew Aller, once thought to be possibly the number one overall quarterback,
00:22now is just going to say, you know what?
00:23Working hard, full recovery.
00:25I'll throw for some teams.
00:26Where does he go?
00:26Is he still first-round talent, Joe?
00:30He goes to a practice squad.
00:33Like, you know, that's where he goes.
00:35Like, it's stopped.
00:36He couldn't throw, Donnie, at Penn State.
00:38Like, he's one of the worst downfield passers we have seen.
00:43He's just not, he's not an NFL quarterback in any way, shape, or form.
00:48And in a year where you've got, well, you've got a handful of guys coming out
00:53that are going to go probably in the top 10 here, Donnie.
00:56Yeah, maybe in a fourth or fifth round.
00:59But I was not impressed at all with his arm or his ability to throw the deep ball,
01:04which is a problem.
