Origin of evil and the war on the saints –
Forces of Babylon attack the people of God. Two main tactics – infiltration and persecution.
How this worked out in the history of Israel. Gods of Babel versus the God of Israel.
Connection between the infiltration of gods of Babel into Israel and the captivity in Babylon. Call to come out of Babylon.

And they built the high places of Baal which are in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire to Molech, which I did not command them, nor did it come into My mind that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.’ Jeremiah 32.35

00:00And when you come to this question, you've got coming out of Babylon false gods
00:03who are going to fight against the true God, God of the Bible.
00:08And if you follow through what I'm going to say tonight, it gives you a very clear reason why,
00:13if you're in the truth, in the truth of Jesus the Messiah,
00:16you can never put Jesus and the true God alongside the other gods.
00:21Because the true God comes from heaven, via Jerusalem,
00:24and the false gods come from hell, or from Satan, via Babylon.
00:30And you can't bring them together. No way.
00:35You can love the people who are under their influence and seek to win them for the Lord,
00:39but you can't join together with them.
00:41And you can't put their gods alongside our God.
00:45Our God is revealed in the Torah, and in the prophets, and in the New Covenant,
00:49and he gives the true revelation.
00:50Other gods are humans trying to reach out to God,
00:55with a bit of satanic involvement as well.
00:59Our God is God reaching down from heaven to us,
01:02to lift us up, to be seated with him in heavenly places.
01:07Humans try to find their way to God.
01:08They find their way through different religions, different philosophies,
01:12or even know God.
01:14But they can never make it to God because there's too much of a gulf between us.
01:17God is holy, we're not.
01:18And God, who is holy, came down to this world in the person of Jesus the Messiah,
01:23in order to cross that huge gulf which separates us from God,
01:26to lift us up from the place where we were,
01:29to be new creations, to be born again of the Holy Spirit,
01:32and to live with new life in Jesus the Messiah.
01:35The true faith in Jesus is only inspired by God,
01:41only as the truth,
01:43and only inspired by the Holy Spirit.
01:46Other religions may have some elements of truth in them.
01:49After all, the Muslims believe there is a God.
01:51That's true.
01:52But into that faith is all kinds of other ideas
01:54which are infiltrated by one who is opposed to God,
01:58who is actually the devil.
01:59And the devil is a real being.
02:01He's not equal with God,
02:03but he's the enemy of God.
02:05And he wants to get people trapped in his way of thinking
02:07through all the gods of Babylon,
02:10the false gods of this world.
02:13And the Bible faith is the one which is revealed
02:16by the unchanging God.
02:17It doesn't change.
02:18There is a change between the nature of the covenant
02:23which is given to Moses
02:24and the new covenant through Jesus,
02:25but it's the same God
02:26operating on basically the same principles.
02:31So let's go back and look at the Tower of Babel.
02:35So last time...
02:36Am I using this thing?
02:39Is it working?
02:39No.
02:40Okay, change it.
02:41Last time we looked at the Tower of Babel,
02:45Babel or Babylon,
02:46it's in the land of Hina or Mesopotamia
02:50as it's known in the world today,
02:53which was the early settlement area after the flood.
02:57And we saw last time
02:58that there was a man called Nimrod
02:59who founded Babel.
03:01He was described as being a mighty hunter
03:03before the Lord.
03:05His name actually is derived from a Hebrew word,
03:07marad, which means to rebel.
03:09So he's not just a mighty hunter,
03:11he's also a rebel against the Lord.
03:13And I pointed out that probably in his
03:14being a mighty hunter,
03:16he was defending the people against wild animals
03:18who are beginning to harass them.
03:20Remember, this is not long after
03:21they've come out of the flood
03:22and the animals are now reproducing
03:24and they're setting up their first settlement.
03:26They find themselves harassed by the wild animals.
03:28Nimrod comes along and defends them,
03:30kills the lions and kills all the animals.
03:32And so they raise him up as their savior figure
03:34who's going to deliver them from evil.
03:36And he makes a name for himself
03:39and he wants to make a name for Babel.
03:41So he decides to build this great tower.
03:44And this tower is devoted to human potential,
03:48if you like, human power.
03:50One of the words they say,
03:51they're going to make a name for themselves.
03:52Let's make a name for ourselves.
03:55And God sees that they're building this tower
03:57in rebellion against him.
03:59And so God says he's going to come down
04:00and confuse them, confuse their language.
04:02One of the things it says in Genesis 11
04:05is the Lord saying,
04:07now that nothing they propose to do
04:09will be withheld from them.
04:12And the idea is that if they continue to develop
04:14in this way, they're going to develop
04:15a one world, united culture
04:17with power, with influence,
04:19with developing technology.
04:21They're building the towers already,
04:22developing some kind of technology.
04:24And they're going to develop this
04:26and they're going to unite the world
04:28in rebellion against God.
04:30And so God goes down and scatters them,
04:32and scatters their languages
04:32so they can't understand each other.
04:34And they're scattered around the world
04:36so they can't unite
04:37in the way that they were doing.
04:40One of the things we see happening in our time
04:42is the world is coming together again.
04:44And this idea that nothing they can propose to do
04:47will be withheld from them
04:48is kind of very relevant to our time
04:51because now we have this incredible development
04:53of technology.
04:56And people are developing all kinds of things,
04:58artificial intelligence, computers, electricity,
05:01all these things which were never there
05:03in the previous generations
05:04and now they're in our generation
05:05and are developing into new forms
05:09of human achievement, if you like,
05:13but also turning people away from God.
05:17We also saw that coming out of Babylon,
05:19out of Babel, was a religious spirit.
05:21It was a high place.
05:23It was a place for idolatry, of worship,
05:25possibly associated with astrology.
05:27Also, we had the idea of the Queen of Heaven
05:29and reincarnation.
05:31I said a bit about the myth of Semiramis and Nimrod.
05:35I won't go into that today,
05:36but you can see there are traces of this
05:38in all the false religions,
05:39how they end up with a goddess figure,
05:43people worshipping some kind of a female goddess
05:45alongside the male god.
05:47And there is a kind of tradition
05:50to do with reincarnation, magic, mysteries,
05:53all kinds of things.
05:54And you can see elements of this
05:55in all religions which have followed afterwards,
05:59including, one has to say,
06:00the development of Roman Catholicism
06:01as an alternative to true biblical Christianity.
06:07And behind this,
06:08there is actually the work of the devil
06:10who's at war with God.
06:13Next one, Janie.
06:16We see in the Bible,
06:17one of it says in the last days
06:18there's going to be a war
06:19between God and the devil.
06:21Revelation 12, it says,
06:23War broke out in heaven.
06:25Michael and his angels fought with the dragon,
06:26and the dragon and his angels fought,
06:28but they did not prevail,
06:29nor was the place found for them
06:31in heaven any longer.
06:32So the great dragon was cast out,
06:34that serpent of old called the devil and Satan,
06:36who deceives the whole world.
06:38He was cast to the earth,
06:39and his angels were cast out with him.
06:42And the dragon was enraged with the woman,
06:45and he went to make war
06:46with the rest of her offspring
06:47who keep the commandments of God
06:49and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
06:52So the Bible says in the last days
06:54you're going to see an acceleration,
06:56if you like, of this war.
06:57This war has been going on actually
06:58for even before the creation of the world.
07:02And it speaks about a war
07:03taking place in heaven.
07:05Michael and his angels
07:06fighting against the dragon,
07:07who's Satan.
07:08The dragon and his angels fighting,
07:10and then being cast out to the earth.
07:12And the devil who deceives the whole world
07:15is cast down to the earth.
07:16So again, the Bible's very clear
07:18that there is a war in heaven.
07:19There is also a devil
07:20whose work is to deceive
07:22and confuse people in the world.
07:25That's his job to do.
07:26Our job is to tell the truth,
07:28but he's got his job to do as well.
07:29So one says we can't blame him
07:31for doing his job,
07:33but we can resist him
07:34because he's out to do evil
07:35and do harm to people.
07:37And it says at the end of that chapter,
07:39in chapter 12,
07:40it says the dragon was enraged with the woman.
07:42He went to make war
07:43with the rest of her offering
07:44who keep the commandments of God
07:45and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
07:49So it's telling here
07:50that this particular demonic force
07:53is going to be against
07:54those who keep the commandments of God
07:56and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
07:59So the war is going to be against
08:00the people who believe in Jesus
08:02and try to keep his commandments.
08:05So that means that
08:06if you are amongst those people,
08:08you want to keep the commandments of God,
08:10and you believe that Jesus is the Messiah,
08:12and you want to keep the commandments
08:13of Jesus Christ,
08:15you have an enemy who is against you.
08:17Can you see that?
08:18It says that in the word of God.
08:20So don't be surprised
08:21if you have somebody
08:21who is against you
08:22trying to follow Jesus Christ.
08:25So the devil's got his job to do.
08:28We don't like him.
08:28We don't like what he's doing,
08:29but he's there,
08:31and you can't ignore him.
08:32He exists,
08:33and the Bible tells us
08:34he's going to work
08:34against the people of God.
08:38And actually, Jenny,
08:39we've got the notes.
08:40You can have it here,
08:41but then you can see
08:41what I'm changing, okay?
08:45And this is a war
08:46which was going on
08:47before even the world was created.
08:50We go back to the book of Isaiah,
08:51chapter 14.
08:53It tells you this war in heaven
08:54has begun before the creation
08:55of the world
08:56with the rebellion of Lucifer,
08:59or Halal as it is in the original,
09:02who wanted to take the place of God
09:04in heaven.
09:05And Lucifer was leading the praise in heaven,
09:10and he said,
09:11well, you've been praising God.
09:13Why don't you start praising me?
09:15And somehow a thought came into his mind
09:17which was against God.
09:19Now, the Bible doesn't tell us
09:21how that evil thought
09:22came into people's minds,
09:23and it's one of the mysteries
09:24which we can't understand.
09:26So how could God create a being
09:28who was actually very beautiful
09:30and very powerful,
09:31an archangel,
09:32who would suddenly become
09:33possessed of an evil idea
09:36and fight against God?
09:37Where did it come from?
09:39We don't actually have an answer to that one,
09:41so you just have to leave it
09:42that it did come.
09:43Paul actually calls it
09:44the mystery of lawlessness.
09:45And there are certain things
09:46which are not revealed to us,
09:47but we have to understand
09:49that they happened,
09:50and therefore to take action against them.
09:53And the Bible tells us,
09:54let's read from Isaiah,
09:55chapter 14,
09:56verse 12.
09:58It says,
09:58How are you fallen from heaven,
09:59O Lucifer, son of the morning?
10:00How are you cut down to the ground,
10:02you who weaken the nations?
10:04If you said in your heart,
10:05I will ascend into heaven,
10:07I will exalt my throne
10:08above the stars of God,
10:09I will also sit
10:10on the mount of the congregation,
10:12on the farthest side of the north,
10:14I will ascend above
10:15the heights of the clouds,
10:16I will be like the Most High.
10:18Yet you shall be brought down
10:19to Sheol,
10:21to the depths of the pit,
10:22to the lowest depths of the pit.
10:25Notice he says,
10:25I'm going to ascend
10:26above the stars of God,
10:27I'm going to ascend above
10:28the heights of the cloud,
10:30I will be like the Most High.
10:33So the original sin,
10:35which is,
10:36this is the original,
10:36original sin,
10:37if you like,
10:38is the sin of the devil
10:39wanting to take the place of God
10:40and be like the Most High.
10:43Got a bit of an inflated ego,
10:44if you like.
10:46And what did he say to Eve?
10:48He said,
10:49You'll be like God
10:50if you disobey God's,
10:51if you disobey God's commandments.
10:53So he's offering to people,
10:57he's offering,
10:58first of all,
10:58he wants to be like God himself,
11:00then he wants to offer
11:01to those who follow him,
11:03you can be like God's yourselves.
11:05But he's obviously deceived in this
11:08because he's actually coming
11:09against God who exists
11:10and God throws him down
11:12out of heaven.
11:15And then begins the war
11:16with the temptation
11:17and the fall of Adam and Eve
11:18in Genesis chapter 3,
11:19which actually really happened,
11:20by the way.
11:21Not a myth,
11:22it was an event which took place,
11:24I believe,
11:25in creation as described
11:26in the Bible.
11:27And these things happened
11:28and they continue
11:29to influence everything
11:31that takes place
11:31on the world today.
11:33Continued in the war
11:34between the line of Cain
11:35and the line of Seth
11:36who called on the name
11:37of the Lord in Genesis
11:38in the pre-flood world
11:39right up to the time of Noah
11:41and the Nephilim
11:42who were part of the fallen ones,
11:44the corruption of the world,
11:46the earth,
11:47in the events which led up
11:48to the flood,
11:49salvation of those
11:51who believed in the Lord,
11:52Noah and his family
11:53went into the ark
11:54and after the flood
11:56it continued,
11:56the rebellion continued
11:57with Nimrod,
11:59the mighty hunter
11:59before the Lord
12:00and the construction
12:01of the Tower of Babel
12:02in rebellion against God.
12:05And I said last time
12:06God's response to this
12:08actually was to call out
12:09one man and his family
12:11and say that through this man
12:13and his family
12:14I'm now going to
12:15bring about
12:15my answer,
12:17my response.
12:17and that's interesting
12:20because God's response
12:21to all the massive evil
12:23which you see
12:24in the world today
12:24is to call out
12:25people,
12:27individuals
12:27that are going to
12:28follow him
12:28and be his answer
12:30and that's you
12:31and that's me
12:32and that's all the people
12:33who believe
12:33on the Lord Jesus Christ.
12:35So it began with Abraham
12:36and God said to Abraham
12:38get out of your country
12:39to a land
12:39that I will show you.
12:41I'm going to reveal to you
12:42something along the line.
12:45I'm going to reveal to you
12:45first of all
12:46that there's one God
12:47not many gods.
12:49This God is the creator
12:50he's the redeemer
12:50he's also going to be the judge
12:52and Abraham
12:53it said
12:54believed God
12:54and it was counted to him
12:55for righteousness.
12:57So by his faith
12:58he began to believe God
12:59and as part of that faith
13:01he came into a relationship
13:02with God.
13:03God gave him certain promises
13:04certain covenant promises
13:06which he fulfilled.
13:08Amongst them
13:09he said he'd have
13:09a line of descent
13:10and that line of descent
13:12would receive
13:13the same promises
13:13which God had given
13:14to Abraham
13:15promises of ownership
13:16of the promised land
13:17and also a multitude
13:19of descendants
13:19and if they were faithful
13:21to the Lord
13:21then they would know God
13:22and know his presence
13:23in their lives.
13:27Come down to the time
13:28of Exodus
13:28when God gives the law
13:29to Moses at Sinai
13:30and followed by
13:32the history of Israel
13:33recorded in the Old Testament.
13:36Now all of these things
13:36God is bringing out
13:37a people
13:38and the devil
13:40is going to
13:40what's he going to do?
13:41He's going to say
13:42okay that's fine
13:42you can have your people
13:43or is he going to
13:44contest it?
13:46Obviously what the devil
13:47is going to do
13:47because he's against God
13:48from the beginning
13:49he's going to contest
13:50the people of God.
13:51He's going to do
13:51something he can
13:52to try to stop them
13:53from doing what God
13:54wants them to do
13:55and he continues
13:57his war on the saints
13:58the people of God
13:59and it will continue
14:00until the end of the age.
14:02That may be bad news
14:03to you
14:03but it's a fact.
14:05This war will not end
14:07until Jesus returns.
14:08When he does return
14:10then Satan will get
14:12his comeuppance
14:13but until that time
14:14he's going to be active
14:15continuing this war
14:17and if you think about it
14:19Satan has two main tactics
14:20against the people of God.
14:24Everything else
14:25really comes under
14:25this heading.
14:27The first tactic
14:27is persecution
14:29attack upon them
14:30try to wipe them out
14:31try to kill them
14:32try to stop them
14:33from doing what they want.
14:35That's happened
14:36right through history
14:37it happened
14:37through the people of Israel
14:39attempts to kill them off
14:40get rid of them
14:41but it's always going to be there
14:43he's going to be against them
14:44physically.
14:45The second one
14:46is perhaps more important
14:47that's infiltration.
14:49You're going to try to get in
14:50amongst them
14:50and try to take them
14:51off the course
14:52to which they're supposed to go
14:53and you can see
14:55that that's the tactic
14:56which is happening
14:56not just to Israel
14:57but also to the church
14:59wants to try to kill
15:00the Christians
15:01get rid of them
15:01stop them preaching the gospel
15:02but he also wants
15:04to get inside them
15:05and infiltrate them
15:06so they can use them
15:06to actually become
15:08an organisation
15:08which is in the name
15:09of Jesus
15:10but is actually
15:10contrary to what
15:11Jesus says.
15:13That's why you've got
15:14so much confusion
15:14in the area of Christianity
15:16and in the area
15:17of the church.
15:18Both of these apply
15:19to the people of Israel
15:21and to the church
15:22and in all this
15:24Babel
15:25Babylon becomes
15:26the symbol
15:26if you like
15:27of the opposition
15:28of the people
15:29who are against
15:29the people of God.
15:31Babylon
15:31the city of the devil
15:32actually
15:33Babylon
15:33the world system
15:34in rebellion against God
15:35Babylon which
15:37in the book of Revelation
15:39comes to see
15:40having a religious
15:41a political
15:42and economic
15:43manifestation
15:43which is going to be
15:45against God's people
15:46and what does God
15:48say to people
15:49concerning Babylon
15:50he says
15:50come out from among them
15:51be separate
15:52come out of Babylon
15:53my people
15:54and in the end
15:57he says that Babylon
15:58the greatest fallen
15:58so Babylon is doomed
16:00but it's going to be powerful
16:02and it's going to be working
16:02in the last days
16:04now I believe that we're living
16:05in the last days
16:05and you're going to see
16:06the power of Babylon
16:08in a very powerful way
16:10I don't believe it's going to be
16:11the rebuilding of the city
16:13by the way
16:13it's going to be Babylon
16:15as a system
16:16which is going to control
16:17the economic
16:18the political
16:18and the religious life
16:20of the present world
16:21in opposition to God
16:22God also says
16:26that he's going to create
16:27a new Jerusalem
16:27which is going to be a city
16:29which will be the eternal
16:30running place
16:31of the redeemed
16:32of all ages
16:32in the presence of the Lord
16:34so the battle is there
16:36between Babylon
16:36and Jerusalem
16:37and if you're on the side
16:38of God
16:39you're going to end up
16:40in the new Jerusalem
16:41it also has a manifestation
16:43on the present Jerusalem
16:45but I won't go into that
16:46in detail
16:46at the present time
16:47now if you go through
16:49the Old Testament
16:50you find that the spiritual
16:51and physical influence
16:52of Babylon
16:52is going to consistently
16:54be coming against Israel
16:55in the New Testament
16:57it's going to be coming
16:58against the true church
16:59of Jesus Christ
17:00so let's have a look
17:03and see how it works out
17:04okay you come to the
17:08entrance of the Israelites
17:10into the promised land
17:11when they enter
17:12into the promised land
17:13they actually make war
17:15on the Canaanites
17:16some people are a bit
17:19upset by that
17:19because it involves
17:20a bit of killing
17:21against the Canaanites
17:22and think that's unfair
17:23well actually
17:24when you look into the fact
17:25it says that
17:27in the book of Genesis
17:29the promise which God
17:30gave to Abraham
17:31that the Israelites
17:32would be 400 years
17:34out of the land
17:35and then they would return
17:36at the time
17:37when the iniquity
17:37of the Canaanites
17:38is said
17:40sorry
17:42I read what it says
17:43in Genesis 15
17:44in the fourth generation
17:45they shall return here
17:47for the iniquity
17:48of the Amorites
17:48is not yet complete
17:49so it says that
17:52at the time
17:52when the Israelites return
17:53there's going to be
17:54something about
17:54the iniquity
17:55of the Amorites
17:56which is going to be
17:56very powerful
17:57so that culture
17:59of pre-Israel
18:02Canaanites
18:03is going to be
18:04particularly
18:05a wicked culture
18:06and that you've done
18:08archaeology
18:08they've worked out
18:09that there was
18:09some pretty foul
18:11things going on
18:11in the pre-Israel
18:13Canaanite society
18:14based on the gods
18:16of Babylon
18:16the evil gods
18:18sacrificing their
18:19children to gods
18:20practicing all kinds
18:21of basically
18:24satanic things
18:25in one sense
18:26you could say
18:26that the
18:27Israelite invasion
18:28of Canaan
18:28was both
18:30a judgment
18:30upon the gods
18:31of Babylon
18:32through Canaan
18:33and also
18:34a place
18:35where the Israelites
18:36could go
18:36and worship
18:37the true God
18:38so God was
18:39working out
18:39his purposes
18:39in that
18:40and when we
18:42see that God
18:43told particularly
18:44to the Israelites
18:45keep the influences
18:46of Babylon
18:47of Babel
18:47out of your culture
18:49learn from the Lord
18:50and learn from
18:51his Torah
18:51go to
18:54the next one
18:55Janie
18:56in the book
18:58of Numbers
18:59says
19:00the Lord
19:00spoke to Moses
19:01in the plains
19:02of Moab
19:02by the Jordan
19:03across from Jericho
19:04saying
19:04speak to the
19:05children of Israel
19:06and say to them
19:07when you've
19:07crossed the Jordan
19:08into the land
19:09of Canaan
19:09then you should
19:10drive out
19:11all the inhabitants
19:11of the land
19:12from before you
19:13destroy their
19:14engraved stones
19:15destroy all their
19:16molded images
19:17and demolish
19:18all their high places
19:19you shall dispossess
19:20them
19:20the inhabitants
19:21of the land
19:22and dwell in it
19:22for I've given it
19:23you the land
19:24to possess
19:24so God says
19:26when you go
19:27into the land
19:27you've got to
19:28not just
19:28remove the people
19:29you've got to
19:30remove their gods
19:31you've got to
19:31destroy them
19:32have nothing
19:32to do with them
19:33don't let their
19:34gods infiltrate
19:35into your God
19:36because there's
19:37no connection
19:38between them
19:38they're enemies
19:39of yours
19:40now they're not
19:41I mean
19:42when we come
19:42to the New Testament
19:43Jesus says
19:43you love your enemies
19:44but at this time
19:45God's saying
19:46actually
19:46just get rid
19:47of these gods
19:48and get rid
19:48of this influence
19:50so it doesn't
19:50contaminate you
19:51because if it comes
19:53into your culture
19:54it's going to
19:55contaminate you
19:55and it's going to
19:56ultimately destroy you
19:57from the inside
19:58and it's interesting
20:02when you look at
20:02the first event
20:04which takes place
20:04in the conquest
20:05of Canaan
20:06which is
20:07at Jericho
20:09you know
20:10the story about
20:11Joshua fought
20:11the battle of Jericho
20:12and the walls
20:13came tumbling down
20:14and when you look
20:16in the details
20:17you find that
20:17at Jericho
20:18God tells them
20:20they're going to
20:20conquer Jericho
20:21and in Joshua 6
20:22verse 18
20:23he says
20:24and you by all means
20:25abstain from the
20:26accursed things
20:27lest you become
20:27accursed
20:28when you take
20:29of the accursed
20:30things and make
20:30the camp of Israel
20:31accursed
20:31and trouble it
20:33so God says
20:35when you're going
20:35to take Jericho
20:36don't take anything
20:37out of it
20:38and put it into
20:39your camp
20:39because the things
20:40in there are
20:40accursed
20:41what happens
20:43is a man
20:44called Echan
20:44who sees
20:47a beautiful
20:47Babylonian garment
20:49and some silver
20:50and gold
20:50and decides
20:51he's going to
20:51take it for himself
20:52and hides it
20:53in his tent
20:54so he goes
20:56against what God
20:56says
20:56and he brings
20:57this Babylonian
20:58garment
20:59into his tent
21:00he's bringing
21:01the gods of Babylon
21:02into the camp
21:03of Israel
21:04what happens then
21:05they go to fight
21:06the next battle
21:07against a place
21:07called Ai
21:08as they go out
21:09to Ai
21:09the people of Ai
21:11come and defeat
21:12them and push
21:12them back
21:12get into a panic
21:14they think
21:14ok we've won
21:16this sensational
21:17victory at Jericho
21:17now we've been
21:18defeated
21:18the Canaanites
21:20will hear about
21:21this and they'll
21:21come and just
21:22wipe us out
21:22so they seek
21:24the Lord
21:24and the Lord
21:24says well
21:25actually
21:25there's a reason
21:26why you were
21:26defeated
21:27because you
21:27brought something
21:28from Babylon
21:29into your camp
21:30you've got to
21:30get rid of it
21:31there's kind
21:32of a lesson
21:33here
21:33you're fighting
21:34the battle
21:34of the Lord
21:35then you don't
21:35bring the things
21:36of Babylon
21:36into your
21:38camp
21:38and they
21:40find out
21:41that Achan
21:41is the one
21:41who's done
21:42it
21:42and when we
21:43come to
21:43the lady
21:44chapter
21:45Achan
21:45answers Joshua
21:46and said
21:46indeed I have
21:47sinned against
21:48the Lord
21:48God of Israel
21:49this is what
21:50I've done
21:50when I saw
21:51among the spoils
21:52a beautiful
21:52Babylonian garment
21:53200 shekels
21:55of silver
21:55and a wedge
21:55of gold
21:56weighing 50
21:56shekels
21:57I coveted
21:58them and
21:58took them
21:59and there
21:59they are
22:00hidden in
22:00the earth
22:00in the midst
22:01of my tent
22:01with the silver
22:02under it
22:04ok so this
22:06guy Achan
22:07he's gone
22:07against what
22:08God says
22:08he's brought
22:09Babylon
22:09into the
22:09camp
22:10and now
22:11they've
22:11lost the
22:11battle
22:11what they
22:13have to do
22:13is quite
22:14ruthless
22:14and quite
22:15dramatic
22:15they say
22:15that Achan
22:16has to
22:17die
22:17and this
22:18product of
22:20Babylon
22:20has to be
22:20destroyed
22:21to avoid
22:22the contamination
22:23into our
22:24camp
22:24and there's
22:25kind of a
22:26spiritual lesson
22:26there
22:27don't bring
22:28Babylon
22:28into your
22:29house
22:29because it's
22:31going to
22:31weaken you
22:31and you'll
22:32be defeated
22:33against the
22:33enemy
22:34if you want
22:35to defeat
22:35the enemy
22:35you've got
22:36to get
22:36Babylon
22:37out of your
22:38house
22:38go through
22:40the rest
22:40of the
22:41history
22:41of Israel
22:41and you
22:41find it
22:42over and
22:42over again
22:42they're
22:43bringing
22:43Babylon
22:43into the
22:44camp
22:44come to
22:46the story
22:46of Gideon
22:47you know
22:48Gideon
22:48and his
22:48fleece
22:49and the
22:49Midianites
22:50come and
22:50they're
22:50oppressing
22:50the people
22:51of Israel
22:51they're
22:52taking away
22:53their livestock
22:53they're
22:53taking away
22:54their crops
22:54they're
22:55oppressed
22:55by the
22:56Midianites
22:56and they
22:59cry out to
23:00the Lord
23:00for a deliver
23:01and the
23:01Lord says
23:02to Gideon
23:03you're a
23:05mighty man
23:05of Bala
23:05rise up
23:06and deliver
23:07the Israelites
23:07Gideon
23:08says not
23:09me
23:09but God
23:10tells him
23:10yes you
23:11and he
23:12shows him
23:13certain things
23:14but the
23:14first thing
23:15he says
23:15to him
23:15is that
23:17you have
23:17to destroy
23:17the altar
23:18of Baal
23:18why should
23:21they have
23:22an altar
23:22of Baal
23:22Baal is
23:23the chief
23:24god of
23:24the Babylonians
23:25it's the
23:25false god
23:26it's right
23:27there in
23:27their camp
23:28and that's
23:30the reason
23:31why they're
23:31being defeated
23:31by the
23:32Midianites
23:32because God's
23:33not with
23:33them
23:34so God
23:35says to
23:35Gideon
23:36Judges
23:37chapter 6
23:38verse 25
23:39take your
23:40father's
23:40young bull
23:41the second
23:42bull of
23:42seven years
23:43old
23:43and tear
23:44down the
23:44altar of
23:45Baal
23:45that your
23:45father has
23:46and cut
23:46down the
23:47wooden image
23:47that is
23:48beside it
23:48and build
23:49an altar
23:49to the
23:50Lord your
23:50God
23:50on top
23:51of this
23:51rock
23:51in the
23:52proper
23:52arrangement
23:52and take
23:53the second
23:53bull
23:53and offer
23:54the burnt
23:55sacrifice
23:55with the
23:56wood of
23:56the image
23:57which you
23:57shall cut
23:58down
23:58so first
24:00of all
24:00he has
24:00to get
24:01rid of
24:01the altar
24:01of Baal
24:02and set
24:04up an
24:04altar
24:04to the
24:04Lord
24:05and what
24:06happens
24:06next
24:06he goes
24:07out
24:07and with
24:07just
24:07300
24:08men
24:08he defeats
24:09the whole
24:09armies
24:09of Midian
24:10because God's
24:11with him
24:12and you can
24:13see there's a
24:14certain principle
24:14there if you've
24:15got Babylon
24:15in your camp
24:16you're worshipping
24:18an altar
24:18of Baal
24:19then the
24:20Midianites
24:20are going to
24:20come and
24:21oppress you
24:21get rid
24:22of it
24:23put up an
24:23altar
24:23to the
24:24Lord
24:24God's
24:25with you
24:25and he'll
24:26give you
24:26deliverance
24:27and right
24:30through the
24:30Bible
24:30these high
24:31places
24:31become a
24:32sin to
24:33Israel
24:33they become
24:33a problem
24:34to Israel
24:34high places
24:36are associated
24:36with idolatrous
24:38worship
24:38next one
24:39Jenny
24:39they become
24:47associated
24:47with
24:48they bring
24:48judgment
24:48upon
24:49Israel
24:49no
24:49go back
24:49one
24:50yeah
24:50yeah
24:52yeah
24:54that's it
24:54in Leviticus
24:55it says
24:55I will
24:56destroy your
24:56high places
24:57cut down
24:58your incense
24:58alders
24:58and cast
24:59your carcasses
25:00on the
25:00lifeless forms
25:01of your
25:01idols
25:01my soul
25:02shall
25:02abhor you
25:03okay
25:05now the
25:06next one
25:06these things
25:07become a
25:08sin to
25:08Israel
25:09and this
25:10is a
25:10picture
25:10actually
25:10of one
25:11of the
25:11high
25:11places
25:11it's
25:12in a
25:12place
25:12called
25:12Dan
25:12right up
25:13in the
25:13north
25:13remember
25:15the story
25:16in the
25:16division
25:17of the
25:17kingdom
25:17when
25:18Jeroboam
25:19divided
25:20the
25:20kingdom
25:20and he
25:21set up
25:21calves
25:22at Bethel
25:23in the
25:24south
25:24and at
25:25Dan
25:25in the
25:25north
25:25this is
25:26the place
25:26where he
25:26set it
25:26up
25:27they've
25:28covered
25:28the
25:29place
25:30see there's
25:32the elevated
25:33idol
25:34place
25:35the steps
25:35going up
25:36to where
25:36they would
25:36have
25:36had
25:37an image
25:38for worship
25:40and the
25:42shrines
25:42and the
25:43altar
25:43a sacred
25:44object
25:44such as
25:45a stone
25:45pillar
25:45or a
25:46wooden
25:46pole
25:47in various
25:47shapes
25:48identified
25:49with the
25:49object
25:50of animals
25:50sometimes
25:52of
25:52constellations
25:53of the
25:53stars
25:54or of
25:54goddesses
25:54or
25:55fertility
25:55deities
25:56and most
25:58often it
25:58was a
25:58calf
25:59picture
25:59of Jeroboam
26:02put calves
26:03at Dan
26:05and at
26:05Bethel
26:05and the
26:06Israelites
26:07were forever
26:07turning away
26:08from God
26:08and practicing
26:09worship of
26:10these false
26:11gods
26:11and that was
26:12what brought
26:13Babylon into
26:14their midst
26:14brought it
26:16into their
26:17midst and
26:17made them
26:18weak
26:18before the
26:19Lord
26:19and
26:21Solomon did
26:24the same
26:24thing
26:25the end
26:26of his
26:26life
26:26Solomon
26:27one of
26:27Israel's
26:28greatest
26:28kings
26:28built the
26:29temple of
26:29God
26:30in
26:30Jerusalem
26:30but later
26:32he established
26:32high places
26:33for his
26:33foreign wives
26:34outside of
26:35Jerusalem
26:35and we're
26:38reading
26:38Kings
26:39for so it
26:39was when
26:39Solomon was
26:40old and
26:40his wives
26:41turned his
26:41heart after
26:42other gods
26:42and his
26:42heart was
26:43not loyal
26:43to the
26:43Lord his
26:44God
26:44as was
26:45the heart
26:45of his
26:46father
26:46David
26:46for Solomon
26:47went after
26:47Ashtoreth
26:48the goddess
26:49of the
26:49Sidonians
26:50after
26:50Milcom
26:51the abomination
26:52of the Amorites
26:52Solomon did
26:53evil in the
26:54sight of
26:54the Lord
26:54and did
26:55not follow
26:55the Lord
26:56as did
26:56his father
26:57David
26:57and Solomon
26:59built a high
26:59place for
27:00Chemosh
27:00the abomination
27:01of Moab
27:02on the hill
27:02that is to
27:03the east
27:03of Jerusalem
27:03and for
27:04Moab
27:04the abomination
27:05of the people
27:05of Ammon
27:06and he did
27:07likewise
27:07for all his
27:08foreign wives
27:08who burned
27:09incense and
27:09sacrificed
27:10to their
27:10gods
27:11imagine
27:13Solomon
27:13who had
27:13these
27:14revelations
27:16of God
27:16who
27:16God
27:18blessed
27:18with wisdom
27:19yet at the
27:20end of his
27:21life
27:21because of
27:22his many
27:22wives
27:23he ended up
27:24worshipping
27:24other gods
27:25and brought
27:26judgment upon
27:27himself
27:27seems that he
27:29would repent
27:30the book of
27:30Ecclesiastes
27:31actually is really
27:31I think
27:32Solomon's
27:33last word
27:34of his
27:35recognising
27:36the mistakes
27:36he's made
27:37and turning
27:38back to
27:38following the
27:39Lord
27:39holy
27:40but bringing
27:41these things
27:42in brought
27:42Babylon
27:43into the
27:44camp of
27:44Israel
27:44and resulted
27:46then in the
27:46division of the
27:47kingdom
27:47after Solomon
27:48died
27:49and the
27:50weakening
27:50of the
27:51kingdom
27:51and its
27:52eventual
27:53fall
27:53to
27:54Babylon
27:54physically
27:56later on
27:57when you get
27:59to the time
27:59of Jeremiah
27:59we have
28:00the prophet
28:01warning the
28:02people
28:02unless they
28:03repent
28:03unless they
28:03turn from
28:04these
28:04false gods
28:05they're going
28:05to end up
28:06in captivity
28:07in Babylon
28:08Jeremiah 25
28:10verse 8
28:13says
28:14therefore thus
28:15says the
28:15Lord of
28:16hosts
28:16because you
28:16have not
28:16heard my
28:17words
28:18behold I
28:18will send
28:19and take
28:19all the
28:19families of
28:20the north
28:20says the
28:21Lord
28:21and Nebuchadnezz
28:22the king
28:23of Babylon
28:23my servant
28:24and I
28:24will bring
28:24them against
28:25this land
28:26against its
28:26inhabitants
28:26and against
28:27these nations
28:28all around
28:29and will
28:29utterly destroy
28:30them
28:30and make
28:31them
28:31astonishment
28:31hissing
28:32and perpetual
28:33desolations
28:34wherever I
28:35take from
28:35them the
28:36voice of
28:36mirth
28:36the voice
28:37of gladness
28:37the voice
28:38of the
28:38bridegroom
28:38and the
28:39voice
28:39of the
28:40bride
28:40and the
28:41sound
28:41of
28:42and the
28:45sound of
28:45the millstones
28:45and the
28:46light of
28:46the lamp
28:47and this
28:48whole land
28:48shall be
28:48a desolation
28:49and an
28:49astonishment
28:50and these
28:50certain nations
28:51shall serve
28:51the king
28:52of Babylon
28:52seventy
28:53years
28:53so now
28:55because they
28:55brought the
28:56spirit of
28:57Babylon
28:57into their
28:57midst
28:58now
28:59physical
29:00Babylon
29:00comes and
29:01invades
29:01them and
29:01takes them
29:02away as
29:02captives
29:03into
29:03Babylon
29:05and Jerusalem
29:06falls
29:07eventually it
29:08happens
29:09to
29:09Chronicles
29:10chapter 36
29:11hold that one
29:13up
29:14yeah
29:15it says
29:18moreover
29:18all the
29:18leaders
29:19and the
29:19priests
29:20and the
29:20people
29:20transgressed
29:21more and
29:21more
29:21according to
29:22all the
29:22abominations
29:23of the
29:23nations
29:24and defiled
29:24the house
29:24of the
29:25Lord
29:25which he
29:25had consecrated
29:26in Jerusalem
29:27and the
29:28Lord God
29:29of their
29:29fathers
29:29sent
29:30warnings
29:30to them
29:30by his
29:31messengers
29:31rising up
29:32early and
29:33sending them
29:33because he
29:34had compassion
29:35on his
29:35people and
29:35on his
29:36dwelling
29:36place
29:36but they
29:37mocked the
29:38messengers
29:38of God
29:38despised his
29:39words and
29:40scoffed at
29:40his prophets
29:40until the
29:41wrath of the
29:41Lord arose
29:42against his
29:43people till
29:44there was
29:44no remedy
29:45therefore he
29:46brought against
29:47them the
29:47king of the
29:48Chaldeans
29:49who killed
29:49their young
29:49men with the
29:50sword in the
29:51house of their
29:51sanctuary and
29:52had no
29:53compassion on
29:53young man or
29:54virgin on the
29:55aged or the
29:55weak he gave
29:56them all into
29:57his hand and
29:58all the articles
29:59from the house
29:59of God great and
30:00small the
30:01treasures of
30:01the house of
30:02the Lord and
30:02the treasures of
30:03the king and
30:04of his leaders
30:04all these he
30:05took to
30:06Babylon then
30:07they burned
30:08the house of
30:08God broke
30:09down the wall
30:10of Jerusalem
30:10burned all its
30:11palaces with
30:12fire and
30:13destroyed all
30:13its precious
30:14possessions and
30:15those who
30:16escaped from the
30:16sword he
30:17carried away to
30:17Babylon where
30:18they became
30:19servants to him
30:19and his sons
30:20until the rule
30:21of the kingdom
30:22of Persia to
30:23fulfill the word
30:24of the Lord by
30:24the mouth of
30:25Jeremiah until
30:26the land enjoyed
30:27her sabbaths as
30:28long as she lay
30:29desolate she
30:30kept sabbath
30:30to fulfill 70
30:31years
30:32very solemn
30:33words at the
30:34end of the
30:34book of
30:35Chronicles
30:36which tell
30:38about how
30:38God had
30:39warned the
30:39people sent
30:41generation after
30:42generation of
30:42prophets warning
30:43them telling
30:44them to turn
30:44away from
30:44these false
30:45gods telling
30:45them to turn
30:46away from
30:46Babylon
30:47believe in
30:48the true
30:48God keep
30:49the words of
30:50the true
30:50God but
30:51they refused
30:52to listen
30:52and because
30:54they refused
30:54to listen
30:55eventually God
30:55brought Babylon
30:56itself into
30:57Jerusalem to
30:58take them
30:58captive
30:59you see
31:00that's pretty
31:02much a just
31:02kind of judgment
31:03isn't it
31:03instead of
31:06worshipping the
31:06true God
31:07they worshipped
31:07the gods of
31:08Babylon and
31:09then they end
31:09up under
31:10captivity to
31:11Babylon itself
31:12fortunately it was
31:15not forever
31:16it was for a
31:17period of 70
31:17years and after
31:18that they would
31:18return but that
31:20fall of Babylon
31:20was a very
31:22solemn event
31:22next picture
31:23day and
31:26that's a
31:26famous picture
31:27which is
31:27written by
31:28artists called
31:29the flight of
31:30the prisoners
31:30you can see
31:31Jerusalem being
31:32burned and
31:33the captives
31:33coming out of
31:34the city on
31:35their way to
31:36Babylon imagine
31:37what a mournful
31:38event that was
31:39when they got
31:40to Babylon then
31:41by the waters
31:42of Babylon we
31:43sat down and
31:44cried when we
31:44remembered Zion
31:45and that was
31:47great
31:50sadness
31:51great event
31:51of sadness
31:53and trauma
31:53for the people
31:54of Israel
31:54taken into
31:55captivity
31:56just as we
32:00close on
32:02wrong idea
32:02which the
32:02Babylonians
32:03had themselves
32:04they thought
32:05they conquered
32:05Jerusalem
32:06because their
32:07God was
32:07stronger than
32:08the God of
32:09Israel
32:09in the book
32:11of the prophet
32:11Habakkuk
32:12he says
32:13I will raise
32:14up the
32:15Chaldeans
32:15a bitter and
32:16hasty nation
32:16who march
32:17through the
32:17breadth of the
32:18earth to
32:19possess dwelling
32:19places
32:19not their
32:20own
32:20they scoff
32:22at kings
32:22they heap
32:23up earth
32:24and mounds
32:24and seize
32:25it
32:25goes on to
32:27describe basically
32:27what happened
32:28with the
32:28captivity
32:29then in
32:30verse 11
32:30it says
32:31then his
32:31mind changes
32:32and he
32:32transgresses
32:33he commits
32:33offence
32:34ascribing his
32:35power to
32:36his God
32:36what he's
32:38saying there
32:38is the
32:38Babylonians
32:39said we've
32:39conquered
32:40Jerusalem
32:40because our
32:41God is
32:41stronger than
32:41the God
32:42of Jerusalem
32:42our God
32:45is the
32:45real God
32:45our God
32:46is the
32:46true God
32:46your God
32:47is the
32:47false God
32:48because he's
32:48let you
32:48being taken
32:49into captivity
32:50was that
32:52true or not
32:52no it was
32:54not true
32:54and I was
32:56thinking it's
32:56pretty similar
32:57to the
32:59attitude of
32:59Islam today
33:00Islam thinks
33:02they're conquering
33:02over Christianity
33:03because Islam
33:04is stronger
33:04than Christianity
33:05it's not
33:07because God
33:08has allowed
33:09this to rise up
33:10as a judgment
33:11upon the
33:12Christians for
33:12getting all the
33:13gods of Babylon
33:14into their houses
33:15and now he
33:16allows us
33:17this Islamic
33:18thing to
33:18rise up
33:19threatening
33:20us now
33:20but it's
33:21not that
33:21their God
33:22is stronger
33:22than our
33:22God
33:23their God
33:24is the
33:24false God
33:24our God
33:25is the
33:25true God
33:25God
33:26allows the
33:27evil one
33:27to come
33:27in because
33:28of judgment
33:29because of
33:29his own
33:30people
33:30are not
33:30serving
33:30him
33:31that's
33:32really the
33:32lesson
33:33you have
33:33to learn
33:33from the
33:34whole history
33:35of Israel
33:35in relation
33:36to Babylon
33:36and the
33:37captivity
33:37God
33:39allowed
33:39this as a
33:39judgment
33:40on Judah
33:40for allowing
33:41false gods
33:41of Babylon
33:42to come
33:42into
33:42alongside
33:43the true
33:44God
33:44if you
33:46see the
33:46weakness
33:46of Christianity
33:47the weakness
33:48of this
33:48country
33:49today
33:49in its
33:51faith
33:51it's because
33:53we've allowed
33:53other gods
33:54to come
33:54in and
33:55put them
33:55alongside
33:56the true
33:57God
33:57God of
33:58the Bible
33:58and into
34:00that vacuum
34:00now comes
34:01Islam
34:01saying that
34:02we're going
34:03to take
34:03over
34:03we've got
34:04more people
34:05than you
34:05you go
34:06down the
34:07mosque
34:07on a
34:08Friday
34:08down
34:08where we
34:09live
34:09and there
34:09are people
34:09queuing up
34:10to get
34:10inside
34:10it
34:11young men
34:12go to
34:13many churches
34:14and they're
34:14empty
34:14they say
34:15look we're
34:15going to
34:15take over
34:16we've got
34:16power
34:17because our
34:18God is
34:18stronger than
34:19your God
34:19but it's not
34:20their God is
34:21a false God
34:22but God
34:23allows this to
34:23happen
34:24God is allowing
34:25judgment to
34:25come upon this
34:26nation because
34:27the church of
34:29Jesus Christ
34:30has been
34:30asleep
34:31and has
34:32failed
34:32has gone
34:34after other
34:34gods and
34:35has allowed
34:35them to
34:35come in
34:35and allowed
34:37other ideas
34:37to come in
34:38even allowed
34:39homosexuality
34:40and all that
34:40stuff to
34:41come in
34:41and as
34:42the church
34:42allows these
34:43things to
34:44come in
34:44so God
34:44says I'm
34:45leaving
34:45you're on
34:46your own
34:46now
34:47and you're
34:48going to
34:48face
34:48Ichabod
34:49which means
34:50the glory
34:50departing
34:51when the
34:52glory
34:52departs
34:53then something
34:53else is
34:53going to
34:53come in
34:54which is
34:54a false
34:54God
34:55and God's
34:57going to
34:57discipline
34:58and allow
34:59this to
34:59happen
34:59but at the
35:01same time
35:01praise God
35:02God has
35:02a remnant
35:02to a
35:03faithful
35:03and actually
35:05in the
35:05process of
35:06the Babylonian
35:08captivity
35:08God raised
35:10up
35:10Daniel
35:11and others
35:11who would
35:11be faithful
35:12to him
35:12and Daniel
35:13and others
35:14would demonstrate
35:14to the
35:15Babylonians
35:15that actually
35:16the true
35:16God
35:16the God
35:16of Israel
35:17is much
35:18stronger
35:18than the
35:18gods
35:18of Babylon
35:19and every
35:20when it
35:21comes to
35:21in the
35:21context
35:22we'll look
35:22at this
35:22actually
35:23next time
35:23we talk
35:23on this
35:24subject
35:24it shows
35:25how
35:25God
35:26is with
35:27his people
35:28and the
35:29true God
35:29is the
35:31true God
35:31and the
35:31gods of
35:31Babylon
35:32are false
35:32gods
35:33who are
35:33going to
35:33be swept
35:33away
35:34as we
35:35look at
35:35the present
35:36battle
35:36which is
35:37taking place
35:37which is
35:37going to
35:38get more
35:38intense
35:38as we
35:39get nearer
35:39to the
35:39second
35:39coming
35:40of Jesus
35:40you're
35:40going to
35:40see all
35:41kinds of
35:41false
35:41gods
35:42coming
35:42against
35:42us
35:43and many
35:44people
35:44will say
35:45well these
35:45gods are
35:45stronger
35:45than your
35:46God
35:46your God
35:46is weak
35:47God
35:47and your
35:48people are
35:49weak people
35:49and you
35:50are going
35:51to be
35:51defeated
35:52well we're
35:53not weak
35:53people and
35:54we're not
35:54going to be
35:54defeated
35:55because greater
35:55is he that's
35:56in you
35:56and he that's
35:57in me
35:58than he that
35:58is in the
35:59world
35:59and ultimately
36:01the power
36:01is going to be
36:01with Jesus
36:02Christ
36:02is going to
36:02win the
36:03victory
36:03in the end
36:05the kingdoms
36:05of this
36:06world will
36:06become the
36:07kingdom of
36:07our God
36:07and of his
36:08Messiah
36:09and he
36:09shall reign
36:10forever and
36:10ever
36:10so we're on
36:12the victory
36:13side
36:13but in the
36:15meantime there's
36:15a battle going
36:16on and that
36:16battle is going
36:17to get more
36:17intense the
36:18nearer we get
36:18to the second
36:18coming of
36:19Jesus
36:19as we see
36:21what's happening
36:21in the world
36:22today it's
36:22many parallels
36:24with what I've
36:24just told you
36:25about Israel
36:25we see the
36:27infiltration of
36:27other gods
36:28the compromise
36:29and the
36:31unfaithfulness
36:32to God
36:33in society
36:35in general
36:36and in much
36:37of the professing
36:38church
36:38and we see
36:40God bringing
36:40out a remnant
36:41who will be
36:41true to him
36:42and that
36:43remnant is
36:44going to be
36:44faithful and
36:45proclaim the
36:45good news
36:46of Jesus
36:47the Messiah
36:48as that
36:49dear lady
36:50said in the
36:51testimony we
36:52just saw
36:52what's the
36:54answer to the
36:54problem of
36:54the Middle
36:54East
36:55what's the
36:55answer to
36:55the problem
36:56of the UK
36:56what's the
36:57answer to
36:57the problems
36:57of the world
36:58one word
36:59Jesus
37:00Yeshua
37:01he's the
37:03only one
37:03who can
37:03put it
37:04right
37:04so believe
37:05in the
37:05Lord Jesus
37:06Christ
37:06and you
37:07shall be
37:07saved
37:08Yeshua
37:09will have
37:10the last
37:10word
37:10he is the
37:11victor
37:11and all the
37:13false gods
37:13of Babylon
37:13are going
37:14to be
37:14defeated
37:14and he
37:15shall reign
37:16forever
37:16and ever
37:16praise the
37:17Lord
37:17hallelujah
37:19let's just
37:20have a word
37:20of prayer
37:20Lord we do
37:21thank you
37:21that we do
37:22have the
37:22victory in
37:22Jesus the
37:23Messiah
37:23as we see
37:25all these
37:25lessons from
37:26history of
37:26what happened
37:27with your
37:28people Israel
37:28help us to
37:30turn away from
37:32the false gods
37:33the idols
37:33the gods of
37:34the nations
37:35which are but
37:35idols and to
37:36put our trust
37:37in the one
37:37true God
37:38revealed in
37:40Yeshua
37:40the Messiah
37:41who is the
37:42way the truth
37:43and the life
37:43and no one
37:44can come to
37:45you the
37:46father except
37:46through Jesus
