Oct 7th 2023 was the beginning of end time assault on Israel leading to false peace, the Gog and Magog war, Armageddon, and the Second Coming of Yeshua. It set in motion a sequence of events which will develop in the coming days. How long this will take remains unknown, but once process is in motion, it will not be reversed. This is where we get the biblical ‘woman in labour’ image.
These – the current peace – are lies, a refuge hidden under falsehood. The deception is present in this deal. Daniel 9:27 speaks of this covenant.
“Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week [7 years]; But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”
The Trump peace plan is not that covenant, but it is preparing the way for it. It will be confirmed by the coming Antichrist based on falsehood and on lies. It will be broken half way through the 7-year period. The abomination of desolation. Matthew 24:15-28.

00:00Now we're going to look today at what's happened in the past month.
00:03We've had a UN summit on Palestine, resolving that there should be a Palestinian state.
00:10We've had Donald Trump bringing his peace plan, brought the return of the hostages, which is good.
00:17Brought an end to the Gaza war, ceasefire, which is also good.
00:23And people of goodwill hope it is real peace, an end of the suffering on both sides.
00:27Israel safe from the terror threat. Gaza rebuilt and living in peace with its neighbour.
00:33That's what Trump promised in his speech at the Knesset the other week, when he said on the 14th of October,
00:42quote, after 70 years of unceasing war and endless danger, today the skies are calm, the guns are silent,
00:48the sirens are still and the sun rises on a holy land that is finally at peace.
00:53A land and a region that will live, God willing, in peace for all eternity.
00:57This is not only the end of war, this is the end of the age of terror and death,
01:02and the beginning of the age of faith and hope and of God.
01:05It's the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony for Israel and all the nations of what will soon be a truly magnificent region.
01:13I believe that strongly.
01:15This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.
01:19Great.
01:19But is it peace?
01:25That's the question.
01:27Or is it peace, peace, where there is no peace?
01:30The verse in Thessalonians says,
01:32When they say peace and safety, then sudden destruction.
01:36And we've already looked at the passage in the book of Daniel, which speaks about a covenant which will be made for a period of seven years.
01:42A covenant which breaks down halfway through.
01:44Leads to an abomination of desolation.
01:46A time of great trouble.
01:48So, is that what we're looking at?
01:53I think we are.
01:55We're going to look mainly today, not at Daniel, but we're going to look at a passage in the book of Isaiah.
02:00If you want to follow it in the Bible, it's in Isaiah 28.
02:05We're going to start in verse 12.
02:06And I'm going to quote, I'm going to just go through these verses one by one.
02:12So we won't read the whole passage, we'll just read it and we'll see the picture which it brings.
02:17If you look at the context of this passage in Isaiah, God is speaking to his people, but he says they're not listening.
02:22In verse 12, it speaks about God speaking to the people, and it says,
02:31To whom he said, this is the rest with which you may cause the weary to rest.
02:37This is the refreshing, yet you would not hear.
02:40So he's promised them a rest and a refreshing, but he says, you would not hear.
02:44You're not listening to what I'm saying.
02:47Interesting, he speaks about a rest and a refreshing.
02:49Now this is applying, if I apply this to Jews and Christians, you can ask the question, what is the rest, or who is the rest?
02:57If you know your New Testament, we know that Jesus said,
03:01Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
03:04Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart.
03:08You'll find rest for your souls.
03:11So actually the rest who God is looking for is actually found in a person, not in a covenant, not in a treaty.
03:17It's to be found in a person who is Yeshua, the Messiah.
03:21If you follow what I've been saying in some of these talks, the answer to this whole issue in the Middle East,
03:29ultimately is to be found in Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah.
03:33He's the only one who can resolve it.
03:35And the reason for the mess which humanity is in, and the failure to come to any kind of peace, real peace,
03:40is the failure to come to Yeshua for rest and guidance.
03:44And part of God's program actually, in all of these bad things which are going on,
03:48is to tell people that the answer really is to turn to Yeshua, the Messiah,
03:55and have them come to the new covenant,
03:57the covenant which speaks of in Jeremiah chapter 31,
04:01through which you have forgiveness of sin,
04:03you can know God, have his law written on your hearts,
04:06by faith, and by the work of the Holy Spirit.
04:10The alternative is to make a covenant with death.
04:14Interesting that the Muslims often say,
04:16you love life, but we love death.
04:19And some of them believe that if they die in the battle in the jihad,
04:23they're going to go straight to heaven,
04:25and have eternal pleasures with, I don't know how many virgins.
04:30That's another delusion.
04:31And in the book of Isaiah, it goes on to say,
04:35therefore, hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men,
04:37who rule this people in Jerusalem,
04:39because you've said we've made a covenant with death,
04:41and with Sheol we are in agreement,
04:43when the overflowing scourge passes through,
04:45it will not come to us, we've made lies our refuge,
04:48and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.
04:51So it's saying here, there's going to be some kind of a covenant made,
04:54mediated through scornful men,
04:56and we have to say are probably unbelievers living in Jerusalem.
05:02They may be Jewish unbelievers,
05:04they may be Gentile unbelievers,
05:06but they're going to bring in some kind of a covenant,
05:09which is not a covenant with life,
05:10but a covenant with death.
05:12It also says that the purpose of this covenant
05:14is to protect them from the overflowing scourge.
05:18Okay, so something which is overflowing.
05:22Now if you say something which is overflowing,
05:23that is a flood.
05:26Is that okay?
05:27If you look in the Bible,
05:29you find that the word flood is used quite often
05:30as a scripture of an enemy assault or an enemy invasion.
05:35It's a verse in Isaiah which says,
05:37when the enemy comes in like a flood,
05:38the spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him.
05:41The enemy coming like a flood
05:43applies some kind of invasion,
05:45some kind of force coming against them.
05:48You look at that passage in Daniel,
05:49which we looked at before,
05:50in Daniel chapter 9 verse 26,
05:52it says,
05:53Now that prophecy speaks actually about the Messiah coming,
06:09being cut off,
06:11dying of violent deaths,
06:12not for his own sins,
06:13and to be followed by an event
06:14which would take place 40 years later,
06:16which would be the destruction of the temple
06:17and the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans
06:20in an invasion,
06:21which would cause wars and desolations to follow.
06:25But notice it says in Daniel,
06:26the end of it should be with a flood.
06:28And the flood implies some kind of invasion.
06:31So coming back to this prophecy in Isaiah 28,
06:34he's saying that you're going to be protected
06:35from some kind of an invasion by this covenant.
06:37Your idea are going to be protected
06:39from those who want to wipe you out.
06:43So you had in Roman times and in the end times,
06:46Israel faces the threat of an invasion
06:48with an intent to bring the end
06:50to the Jewish presence in Jerusalem
06:52and in the land of Israel.
06:56Is that what is the situation today?
06:57Are there people who want to make an end
06:59to the state of Israel?
07:00Yes, there certainly are.
07:01Well, interesting that Hamas called the start of the war,
07:08the October 7th event, the Al-Aqsa flood.
07:12They meant the Al-Aqsa was the mosque in Jerusalem.
07:16The flood was the invasion.
07:17It was the beginning of the invasion of Israel.
07:19It was the first, actually, invasion
07:21which has slaughtered so many people on October 7th.
07:25So you had the beginning of a process.
07:27And I think that the October 7th
07:29was the beginning, actually, of the end-time assault on Israel.
07:32And the things which are going to come out of it
07:34are going to lead to the final events
07:36which we'll be looking at in a moment.
07:39Set in motion a sequence of events
07:40which will develop in the coming days.
07:43How long it's going to take, we don't know.
07:45But once this process is set in motion,
07:47it's not going to be reversed.
07:49That's why, unfortunately, I don't believe
07:51that this peace agreement is going to be
07:53that lasting peace,
07:54certainly not an everlasting peace.
07:56The only one who can bring an everlasting peace,
07:58actually, is God.
07:58And that's certainly not Donald Trump.
08:02It speaks also about lies being our refuge,
08:05hidden under falsehood.
08:07So there's some idea of some deception taking place.
08:11And I think if you look carefully at what's taking place,
08:13you can see there are several layers of deception
08:15which are taking place,
08:17which is what is happening in relation to Israel
08:20at this present time.
08:22In fact, the Daniel 9, 27 covenant
08:24implies some kind of deception
08:26which will be signed
08:27and then will be broken halfway through.
08:31He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week.
08:34That's for seven years.
08:35In the middle of the week,
08:35he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
08:38On the wing of abomination
08:39shall be one who makes desolate.
08:40So it says that there'll be a covenant
08:42and then it'll be broken halfway through.
08:45I'm not going to speculate what the sacrifices are
08:47and what the abomination of desolation is,
08:49but something happens which breaks the agreement
08:51and leads then to a time of great tribulation.
08:54Even the consummation, which is determined,
08:56it says, is poured out on the desolate.
08:59So a big question, is this Trump plan,
09:02is this part of it?
09:05Certainly it's not the fullness of it
09:06because the full agreement has to deal with the central issue
09:10which is the status of Jerusalem
09:12and the area known as Judea and Samaria or the West Bank.
09:16But it's certainly the beginning of it
09:18and you can see things which are tied up in it,
09:20which we look at,
09:21which make it possible that this is the beginning of the process.
09:24Notice that in the book of Daniel
09:27it says that this is going to be confirmed by somebody.
09:31So the confirm actually means that it's already there in embryo
09:34but it's not quite there yet.
09:37So there's something going to happen
09:37but you're going to confirm or strengthen it in the future days.
09:43So this is, I believe, something is beginning.
09:45It's not there yet,
09:46but you can see a process of a sequence of events
09:49which are going to take place
09:49which we need to be aware of.
09:51If you look at this next verse, it's interesting.
09:55The next verse says,
09:56Therefore, thus says the Lord,
09:57Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,
10:01a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation.
10:04Whoever believes will not act hastily.
10:08Okay, so here you've got something about a stone,
10:11a precious cornerstone and a foundation stone.
10:15And something about believing this,
10:16believing in this stone
10:18or believing in something it represents.
10:21And the people who believe this
10:22are not going to act hastily.
10:24The word there implies rashly or in error.
10:28So those people who believe in this stone
10:29are going to have some wisdom behind them.
10:31They're not going to believe something
10:32which is wrong or deceptive.
10:34So you have to ask the question,
10:36what's he talking about,
10:37the cornerstone and the foundation stone?
10:40Probably you'll guess where I'm coming to.
10:41If you look at this passage,
10:44you'll find that there is a verse in the book of Psalms,
10:47Psalm 118, which says,
10:50I will praise you, you have answered me
10:52and have become my salvation.
10:55Hebrew, my Yeshua.
10:56The stone which the builders rejected
10:58has become the chief cornerstone.
10:59This was the Lord's doing.
11:01It is marvelous in our eyes.
11:04So you have another reference here to a cornerstone
11:06and a foundation stone and a rejected stone.
11:10That passage is repeated five times
11:13in the New Testament.
11:15Five times that verse is quoted in the New Testament
11:17and applied to Jesus.
11:19He's the rejected stone.
11:20He's the chief cornerstone
11:21who holds the building together.
11:23He's also the foundation stone
11:24who is upon whom the building is built.
11:28See that in Psalm,
11:29in 1 Peter chapter 2,
11:31which quotes this verse.
11:341 Peter 2 verse 6,
11:35Therefore it is also contained in Scripture,
11:37Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone,
11:39elect and precious.
11:40He who believes in him
11:40will by no means be put to shame.
11:43Therefore to you who believe he is precious,
11:44but to those who are disobedient,
11:46the stone which the builders rejected
11:47has become the chief cornerstone.
11:50Okay, so the cornerstone is Jesus.
11:52So here in Isaiah,
11:55the passage we started with,
11:56he's saying that those people
11:57who believe in Jesus and Yeshua
11:58are not going to be deceived,
12:00they're not going to act hastily,
12:01they're going to act rashly
12:02because they're going to have the wisdom of God
12:04to show them what is truth
12:05and what is error.
12:08Of course,
12:08Paul also speaks about
12:10Jesus being the foundation stone.
12:12No other foundation can anyone lay
12:14than that which is laid,
12:14which is Jesus Christ.
12:17So those people who listen to the Lord,
12:19and hopefully I'm talking to people here
12:20who are listening to the Lord,
12:22who have their foundation of their life
12:24on the Messiah,
12:26have him as the cornerstone
12:27holding their lives together,
12:29will not be deceived
12:30by any kind of false peace
12:32which comes in the last days.
12:33I believe that God is saying to people today,
12:35don't be deceived,
12:36keep your eyes open,
12:37watch out for what God says,
12:38what God says in his Bible.
12:41Don't act hastily or rashly,
12:43seek the Messiah.
12:44If you want to find real peace and safety,
12:46you've got to find it through the Messiah.
12:48He can give you personal peace now,
12:50and when he comes the second time,
12:51he's going to bring peace to the whole world.
12:55Meantime, don't act rashly,
12:56don't believe false deceivers.
12:58And in this situation,
13:00there are going to be many deceivers.
13:02One of the things which is emphasized in the Bible
13:04is you're going to see a lot of deception around.
13:06One of the signs Jesus said,
13:08in fact the first sign he said of the end times,
13:10is there's going to be false Christs
13:11and false prophets leading people astray.
13:14So you're living in a time
13:15where there's going to be a lot of deception,
13:16so you need to have your eyes open to the truth.
13:19The only way you're going to find the truth
13:20is if you know this word,
13:21and if you're led by the Holy Spirit.
13:25Okay, so going on in Isaiah,
13:28it says that this agreement
13:29which is going to be made
13:31is not going to stand.
13:33Also I make justice the measuring line
13:35and righteousness the plummet.
13:37The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies.
13:40Waters will overflow the hiding place.
13:43Your covenant with death will be annulled
13:45and your agreement with Sheol will not stand.
13:47When the overflowing scourge passes through,
13:49then you'll be trampled down by it.
13:51And as often as it goes,
13:53out it will take you.
13:57For morning by morning it will pass over,
14:00by day and by night it will be a terror
14:02just to understand the report,
14:03for the bed is too short to stretch out on,
14:05and the covering so narrow
14:07that one cannot wrap himself in it.
14:09This is quite an ominous verse
14:12and quite a troubling verse.
14:14It tells you that God's going to sweep away
14:16this refuge of lies.
14:17So this covenant which is based on lies
14:19is not going to stand.
14:20It's going to be,
14:21instead of peace and safety,
14:23it's going to lead to sudden destruction.
14:26In the meantime it says that
14:27it will be terror just to understand the report.
14:29In other words,
14:30the news is going to be really bad.
14:32So if you switch on the news,
14:34you're going to hear some very bad news
14:35in the days to come,
14:36especially if you're looking for peace and safety.
14:40It speaks about an overflowing scourge
14:42passing through.
14:44So there will be some kind of assault,
14:46some kind of an invasion.
14:48And it says that the bed will be too short,
14:50the covering is so narrow
14:51that you can't wrap yourself in it.
14:54If you go to bed,
14:54you find rest and peace, don't you?
14:56This is implying you won't find rest and peace.
14:59The bed will be too short
15:00and the covering won't cover you,
15:02so you won't be able to rest in this place.
15:04So this will be a time
15:05when there will be no peace, no rest.
15:07There will be very bad news coming
15:09which will trouble you.
15:13But it's not all bad news.
15:15It goes on to say,
15:16the Lord will rise up
15:17as at Mount Perazim.
15:19He will be angry
15:20as in the valley of Gibeon
15:21that he may do his work,
15:22his awesome work,
15:23and bring to pass his act,
15:24his unusual act.
15:26Now therefore do not be mockers,
15:27lest your bonds be made strong.
15:30For I have heard from the Lord God of hosts
15:32a destruction determined
15:34even upon the whole earth.
15:37So although this is bad news
15:38and there's a bad thing,
15:39something bad which is coming,
15:40it says that God's going to rise up.
15:42He's going to rise up
15:43as at Mount Perazim
15:44and as at the valley of Gibeon.
15:47So where's the Mount Perazim
15:49and where's the valley of Gibeon?
15:51Well, you have to know your scriptures
15:52and you have to cross-reference
15:53to find out what this is about.
15:55If you go to 2 Samuel chapter 5
15:58which don't go to now
15:59but I'm just going to tell you
16:00what happens there.
16:01One of the wars
16:02which David fights against the Philistines.
16:04Remember the Philistines
16:05were coming to wipe out Israel
16:06and David is raised up
16:08and he fights against them.
16:09He goes to Mount Perazim
16:11and Perazim means the breakthrough
16:13and he has a great breakthrough there
16:15and he defeats the armies of the Philistines.
16:17He rescues Israel from certain attack.
16:21He defeats and Gibeon
16:24you go to Joshua 10
16:26you find that in the initial war for the Holy Land
16:33when the Israelites went into the land
16:35they defeated the Canaanite tribes
16:37at a place called Gibeon
16:38and actually God made the sun stand still
16:42for a whole day in Gibeon
16:43and they managed to defeat those armies
16:46and it was a supernatural invasion
16:48so both of those talk
16:49if you look at both those things
16:51God acts and God moves supernaturally
16:52to save Israel from destruction.
16:55So the implication here
16:56is that something is going to happen
16:57at the time when this deception takes place
16:59and Israel is under assault from its enemies
17:02God is going to move in
17:03to bring some supernatural deliverance.
17:06He's going to do an unusual act.
17:09If you know your Bibles
17:09you may know that at the end of time
17:11God is going to save Israel
17:12at the war of Gog and Magog
17:13when a huge army comes against Israel
17:16and God saves them supernaturally.
17:17The IDF doesn't save them
17:19the Iron Dome doesn't save them
17:20God saves them.
17:23And that is a supernatural act
17:25which will act.
17:27They won't be rescued by ordinary means
17:29but by the Lord himself.
17:31And when it comes to the final battle
17:32it's Yeshua who comes in person
17:34and rescues Israel at the last battle.
17:38Supernatural intervention of God
17:40preparing for the coming of the Messiah.
17:43Something else interesting in this passage
17:45he says don't be mockers.
17:49Another thing which you find
17:50when you look at the end time scriptures
17:51is that there's going to be a lot of
17:53unbelief and a lot of scoffing.
17:55One of the things I think it's in Peter
17:57he speaks about scoffers will come.
18:01Scoffers will come
18:02and they'll mock the message of the Lord.
18:04They'll disbelieve the message of prophecy.
18:07As they do that
18:07they'll find themselves placed in bondage
18:09bondage to error.
18:10A lot of those scoffers
18:13are actually going to be
18:13within the professing church
18:15and within mainstream Judaism as well.
18:20You're going to find people who say
18:20well we can't believe that stuff in the Bible
18:22that was written 2,000 years ago
18:24what's it got relevant to us?
18:26God says it has got relevance to you
18:28because I inspired this word
18:29to my prophets.
18:31And you better know it
18:32because if you know it
18:33then you're going to know
18:33what God says
18:34and what God's going to happen.
18:37Those who believe it
18:38they can make their bonds
18:39strong in the Lord
18:40and in his word
18:41may lose out in this world
18:44they may even lose their lives
18:45but they'll have the ultimate reward
18:46in the coming kingdom
18:47under the Messiah
18:49when God is going to really order
18:50a new world order
18:51in which you'll have the last word
18:53and the last victory.
18:55But there is a destruction
18:56determined on the whole earth.
18:58We're going to speak a bit more about that
18:59in the second part of this talk.
19:02And it's interesting
19:03that verse in particular
19:04places this prophecy
19:05in the last days
19:06because there's only one time
19:09when there's been a destruction
19:10on the whole earth
19:11in the past
19:12that was the flood of Noah.
19:14And Jesus said
19:15it's going to be
19:15as in the last days
19:16it's going to be
19:17as in the days of Noah
19:18when the earth could come
19:19again to the brink of destruction.
19:22Never happened
19:22in between that time at all.
19:24There's never been a possibility
19:25that the earth could be destroyed
19:26by some act of man
19:28or act of God even.
19:30When you come to the end time prophecies
19:31yes they could be.
19:33And we'll look at that in a moment.
19:34And we'll look at that in a moment.
