Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”

00:00Let's see if Daniel actually supports this view.
00:04Okay, let's go back to looking at in more detail in Daniel chapter 9.
00:10Okay, the first 70 weeks, the 70 weeks prophecy in Daniel is the answer to Daniel's prayer in verses 1 to 9.
00:19For the restoration of Jerusalem, your city, and your people, the Jewish people.
00:27He asks God to forgive and restore Jerusalem and your sanctuary, the temple, which is desolate,
00:33and to do this for the sake of your city and your people who are called by your name.
00:38So God's response to Daniel's prayer is to send the angel Gabriel with the 70 weeks of years prophecy.
00:45You look at the subject of this prophecy, what it says is at the end of this time,
00:49there's going to be a completion, verse 24, which tells us what will be accomplished
00:54by the end of the period of the 70 weeks, which he's talking about.
01:00So by the time it's completion, you'll find that all this will be accomplished.
01:04They'll finish transgressions, make an end of sins, make reconciliation for iniquity,
01:10bring in everlasting righteousness, seal up vision and prophecy, anoint the most holy.
01:15Actually it says, so it actually means anoint the holy of holies.
01:22So all this is going to be fulfilled by the end of the 70th week.
01:25You're going to see actually the summing up of all prophecy,
01:28the complete restoration of Israel, both physical and spiritual,
01:31the rebuilding of a temple in the millennial period,
01:34and the fulfillment of all these prophecies.
01:36That's going to come about through the events which will lead to the end of the 70th week.
01:41So, are we on the way to that?
01:48Just to explain this prophecy, a week is a period of seven years,
01:52and in the prophecy of Daniel, the 70 weeks is divided into three periods,
01:56seven plus 62 plus one, which equals 70.
02:01And the word in the prophecy which is translated determined is chatak,
02:04which also means to divide.
02:05What he said at the time of the 69th week, seven plus 62,
02:12the Messiah will be cut off, but not for himself.
02:15This was fulfilled by Yeshua, the Messiah,
02:18dying as a sacrifice for the sins of the world and rising again from the dead.
02:23Following this event, the people of the prince to come
02:25will destroy the city, Jerusalem, and the sanctuary, the temple.
02:29That took place literally in 70 AD,
02:32when the Romans besieged and destroyed Jerusalem and the temple.
02:34As I've said before, this means that the Messiah must have come before 70 AD.
02:43You then have a long period of time between the 69th week and the 70th week,
02:47which is kind of confusing and puzzling.
02:51But if you follow through the book of Daniel,
02:52you'll see that following this event,
02:54there'll be a long period interval before the beginning of the 70th week.
03:00During this interval, the Jewish people and Jerusalem
03:02will experience wars and desolation,
03:04and it would correspond to the time which Jesus spoke about
03:08in Luke's Gospel where he speaks about Jerusalem being trodden down of the Gentiles
03:13and the Jewish people being dispersed into the nations.
03:16I've got a little diagram here somewhere you can have a look at afterwards,
03:21which shows you the kind of timeline in the book of Daniel.
03:25Put that out here, you can help yourself to it.
03:30So this speaks about an interval.
03:32And during this time, the prophecy which Jesus gave
03:35in Luke chapter 19 and 21 is going to be fulfilled.
03:40On the day when he was riding down in Jerusalem on what we call Palm Sunday or the Triumphal Entry,
03:47Jesus said,
03:48as he drew near,
03:51he saw the city and wept over it, saying,
03:53If you had known, even you especially in this your day,
03:55the things that make for your peace,
03:57but now they're hidden from your eyes,
03:59for the days will come upon you
04:00when your enemies will build an embankment around you,
04:03surround you, and close you in on every side,
04:05and level you and your children within you to the ground,
04:08they will not leave in you one stone upon another
04:10because you did not know the time of your visitation.
04:14That happened quite literally
04:15in the time when the Jerusalem was destroyed.
04:18The Romans came and burned the temple down
04:20and when it had been burned down,
04:22they then saw that the gold melted from the top to the bottom
04:25and they prized the stones asunder
04:27and threw them down below.
04:28You can see them today
04:29as if you go up to the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
04:33Happened.
04:33And Jesus said he gave a reason for this.
04:36He said, This is going to happen
04:37because you did not know the time of your visitation.
04:40Your visitation is the time of the Messiah coming to you.
04:42He's saying that this tragedy is going to come upon you
04:44because you didn't recognize in Yeshua
04:46the coming of the Messiah.
04:48I have to say that many Jews did recognize him, of course,
04:50and we are indebted to the Jewish people
04:51for giving us the faith.
04:53But the minority recognized Yeshua.
04:56The majority, especially the religious leaders,
04:59rejected him.
05:00And as a result, this calamity came upon them.
05:03Jesus goes on in chapter 21 to say,
05:09When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies,
05:11then know that its desolation is near.
05:13Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
05:15Let those who are in the midst of her depart.
05:17Let not those who are in the country enter her.
05:19For these are the days of vengeance,
05:21that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
05:23But woe to those who are pregnant,
05:24those who are nursing babies in those days.
05:26There will be great distress in the land
05:27and wrath upon this people.
05:29They will fall by the edge of the sword
05:31and be led away captive into all nations.
05:33And Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles
05:36until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
05:39So here Jesus gives a snapshot of Jewish history,
05:42which is going to take place after this.
05:43He speaks about a dispersion into the nations.
05:46He says you're going to be oppressed by them.
05:48And also he speaks about Jerusalem being trampled
05:53or ruled by the Gentiles
05:55until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
05:58That word until is very interesting
06:00because he's saying there's going to be a time
06:01when this process of dispersion,
06:03of scattering to the nations is going to be reversed
06:05and you're going to come back to the land.
06:07You're going to come back to Jerusalem.
06:08And when you come back to Jerusalem,
06:10it's a sign that I'm going to come back.
06:12Jesus is going to come back to Jerusalem
06:15and bring in the Millennial Kingdom.
06:18So during this time, a dispersion of the scripture tells us
06:25that Israel will be out of the land of Israel.
06:28Jerusalem will be ruled by different Gentile powers.
06:32It will be just a small minority of Jews living in the land.
06:35Ezekiel tells us also the land will become desolate.
06:39Ancient cities will become ruins.
06:43And also that the Jewish people would endure
06:45a long unspecified time without revelation from the Lord.
06:49Apart from those who receive Yeshua as the Messiah.
06:52Book of Hosea, it says,
06:54The children of Israel will abide many days
06:55without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar,
06:59without ephod or teraphim.
07:01So they'll be not only out of the land,
07:02they'll also be out of fellowship with God.
07:04And the things which God provided under the old covenant
07:06will no longer be available to them
07:08unless they turn to Yeshua, the Messiah,
07:10in which case they'll have all of these things and much more.
07:12It goes on to say that the destruction of Jerusalem
07:19and the temple following the Messiah's first coming
07:22would take place at the hands of the people of the prince to come.
07:25That's what Daniel tells us.
07:28So the prince to come is the same figure as the little horn
07:31comes out of the fourth beast in Daniel chapter 7
07:34and the stern-faced king of Daniel chapter 8, verse 23 to 26.
07:40He's also drawn, as they see something being set in motion now,
07:44it's not actually being confirmed yet,
07:46but it has all the ingredients which line up
07:49with the Daniel 9, 27 prophecy.
07:52So when someone comes along and actually confirms it
07:55and brings it all into being,
07:57including the Palestinian state
07:59or the action over Jerusalem,
08:02then you know that you are really on the way
08:04to the fulfillment of this prophecy.
08:07They've got different views about the timing.
08:10If you take the, what they call the preterist view,
08:13then the 70th week actually begins
08:15with the end of the 69th week
08:17and describes the end of the sacrificial system
08:19with the destruction of the temple in AD 70.
08:23Problem with that is the temple wasn't destroyed
08:25three and a half years after the crucifixion,
08:27which it would have to be to fit in with this passage.
08:30But about 40 years later,
08:32in this view then he is the Messiah
08:33making a covenant with Israel
08:34and Jesus fulfilling the new covenant of Jeremiah 31.
08:40Problem with this also is that the new covenant
08:42doesn't last for seven years
08:43but is an eternal covenant offering forgiveness
08:45and the knowledge of God by the Holy Spirit.
08:48In fact, nothing happened either three and a half years
08:51or seven years after the crucifixion and resurrection,
08:54which ties in with Daniel 9, 27,
08:56which is why I think we're justified
08:58in saying it is a future event,
09:00which has not yet happened.
09:03The pre-tribulation view is that he
09:06is the last person mentioned,
09:08i.e. he is the prince to come,
09:10or the antichrist.
09:12This means that the 70th week of Daniel
09:14begins with a covenant being made
09:16by the antichrist with Israel,
09:18which will last for seven years.
09:23Isaiah 28 also speaks about this.
09:25It prophesies a covenant with death
09:27made by people described as scoffers
09:30who are rulers in Israel.
09:32Isaiah 28 speaks about the same event,
09:36I believe.
09:36It says,
09:37Therefore, hear the word of the Lord,
09:38you scornful men who rule this people
09:39who are in Jerusalem,
09:41because you said we've made a covenant with death,
09:43and with Sheol we are in agreement.
09:46When the overflowing scourge passes through,
09:48it will not come to us,
09:49for we have made lies our refuge,
09:50and under falsehood we've hidden ourselves.
09:53Therefore, thus says the Lord God,
09:55Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,
09:57a tried stone, a precious cornerstone,
09:59a sure foundation.
10:01Whoever believes will not act hastily.
10:04So Isaiah speaks about a covenant
10:06which is made by scornful men in Jerusalem.
10:09It could mean non-believing Israelis,
10:13rulers, who make this covenant.
10:17It could mean that Netanyahu may be out of the way
10:19because he's actually not going to make this covenant,
10:21or he's made it so far with Trump.
10:24It could mean some kind of change happens in Israel,
10:26which is not unlikely.
10:29Quite likely, actually.
10:32But it also says in here,
10:34there are those who refuse the covenant.
10:37It says,
10:37Therefore, thus says the Lord,
10:38Behold, I lay in Zion a sure stone for a foundation,
10:42a tried stone, a precious cornerstone,
10:45a sure foundation.
10:46Whoever believes will not act hastily.
10:48That's an interesting verse,
10:50because you have to ask,
10:51here's some people who don't enter into this covenant.
10:53They say it's wrong.
10:54They say you're acting hastily,
10:56you're acting rashly in making this covenant.
10:57We don't agree with it.
11:00They also believe something.
11:01They believe in the stone for a foundation,
11:04the precious cornerstone,
11:06the sure foundation.
11:08Now, if you know your Bibles,
11:09you may know that's one of the code names given for Jesus,
11:11particularly in Psalm 118,
11:13and other passages.
11:14Jesus is described as the precious cornerstone,
11:18the sure foundation,
11:19and the cornerstone.
11:20So the foundation,
11:21and also the capstone,
11:23which holds all the building together.
11:24So it appears to me that those people
11:26actually make this statement
11:27of the people who come to believe in Yeshua,
11:29the Messiah,
11:30who say,
11:30hey, we shouldn't be going into this covenant.
11:32It's going to lead us astray.
11:34So you're going to have a people
11:35who will not be agreeing with it.
11:37It could also be some Jewish people
11:39who recognize it's leading them astray,
11:41and who are actually on the way
11:42to believing in Yeshua.
11:44But it also has something to do with Yeshua,
11:46because he's the one who actually is
11:47the sure foundation.
11:48So, sum up.
11:54From this point of view,
11:55the 70th week actually begins
11:57after the rapture of the church.
12:00At the rapture of the church,
12:01both Jewish and Gentile believers in Jesus
12:03are supernaturally removed,
12:06and then there's a time
12:08which life goes on as normal.
12:13The church age is therefore a parenthesis
12:15between the 69th and 70th weeks.
12:17The 70th week begins,
12:19describes a seven-year period
12:20of the Great Tribulation,
12:22the time of Jacob's trouble.
12:24During this period,
12:25God deals with Israel,
12:27bringing them to repentance and faith
12:28in Yeshua the Messiah.
12:30If you read through Revelation
12:31and other passages,
12:32you can see that God then begins
12:33to move upon Israel in a big way.
12:36Revelation chapter 7
12:37describes 144,000 Jews
12:39who come to know the Lord
12:40and preach the gospel
12:41during the Tribulation period.
12:43Someone said there are like
12:44144,000 Apostle Pauls
12:46who go out with the power
12:47of the Holy Spirit
12:48to preach the gospel.
12:51Revelation 11 speaks about
12:53the two witnesses in Jerusalem.
12:56Zechariah chapter 12
12:57speaks about the Holy Spirit
12:58being poured out
12:59and they look upon me
13:00whom they have pierced
13:01and mourn for him
13:01as for an only son.
13:03So you can see that
13:04during this time,
13:05there's going to be God
13:05is going to be moving
13:06upon the Jewish people
13:07and bringing them to faith
13:08in Yeshua the Messiah.
13:10He can still do it now,
13:11but he's going to do this
13:12in a big way
13:13during the Tribulation period.
13:15They're going to recognise
13:16that Jesus is the one
13:17they've been looking for
13:18and turn to him.
13:25There's also going to be
13:25a series of events
13:26which are going to take place.
13:28I've got this from somebody
13:29who made this
13:31in a sort of rather
13:32special way,
13:34so I've got to get this right.
13:35First of all,
13:36it begins with a covenant
13:37made by the Prince to come.
13:39For one week,
13:43the covenant begins
13:44the final seven-year period
13:45of the Tribulation.
13:46In the middle of the
13:47Tribulation period,
13:49i.e. after three and a half years,
13:50the covenant will be broken
13:51by the Antichrist.
13:54And if you look at Revelation,
13:56you'll find that the same
13:56sequence of events happens.
13:58It speaks of a period
13:59of 42 months,
14:01three and a half years,
14:02the last half of the Tribulation.
14:04Following this event,
14:05during which the authority
14:06of the Antichrist continues.
14:07How does this fulfill
14:11Daniel 9, 24?
14:14Okay, when you get
14:15to Daniel 9, 24,
14:17we find that the second coming
14:19of the Messiah
14:20will cleanse the temple site
14:22of the abomination
14:23of desolation
14:23and all the desolations
14:25of the centuries.
14:27It will cause the final
14:28reconciliation of the Lord
14:29with the Jewish people,
14:31so it will find the final answer
14:33to Daniel's prayer
14:34for the restoration of Jerusalem.
14:36Remember where we started?
14:37Daniel's praying
14:38for the restoration
14:38of your city
14:39and of your people.
14:41He has a partial restoration
14:42when the Jews go back
14:43after Babylon,
14:44but that's only partial
14:45and it ends up
14:46with a following dispersion
14:49after the death
14:50and resurrection of Jesus.
14:52But he looks forward
14:53to a time when everything
14:54is going to be tied up.
14:55All the prophets
14:55are going to come to fruition.
14:58Clearly that hasn't happened yet.
15:00So he's looking forward
15:00to something which is yet
15:01to happen in the future.
15:02And this will provide
15:06the final answer
15:07to Daniel's prayer
15:08for the restoration
15:09of Jerusalem,
15:11your city,
15:12and the Jewish people,
15:13your people.
15:15And then all the things
15:16which are written
15:16in the book of Daniel
15:18will be fulfilled.
15:19He will finish transgression,
15:23make an end of sins,
15:24make reconciliation
15:25for iniquity.
15:27So God will be reconciled
15:29to Israel
15:29through the covenant
15:30of the Messiah
15:30and repentance
15:32and faith in him.
15:34There will be an end
15:35to the sin of Israel.
15:36Romans chapter 11,
15:37verse 26 to 27
15:39tells you that.
15:40Israel will be saved.
15:41They won't be saved
15:42through Judaism,
15:43they'll be saved
15:44through faith in Yeshua,
15:45the Messiah.
15:47When you get into
15:48the Millennial Kingdom period,
15:49only saved Jews
15:50are going to go into it,
15:51so all Israel
15:51who goes into
15:52the Millennial Kingdom
15:53will be saved as Israelites
15:55who believe in Yeshua.
15:59He'll bring in
16:00everlasting righteousness.
16:02He'll seed up
16:02the vision and prophecy.
16:04He'll anoint
16:05the most holy.
16:07I once discussed this
16:09with an Orthodox Jew
16:09and he said,
16:10your translation's wrong here.
16:12It shouldn't be
16:12anoint the most holy,
16:13it should be
16:14anoint the holy of holies.
16:16Hebrew is lim shoch,
16:17kadosh, kadoshim.
16:18That's much better.
16:21When he comes back,
16:22he's going to anoint,
16:23he's going to Messiah,
16:24the holy of holies
16:25in the rebuilt temple
16:27as Jesus comes back
16:28and anoints
16:29the rebuilt temple
16:30in the Millennial Kingdom period.
16:35And as a result of this,
16:36all of the prophecies
16:37of the Old Testament
16:38will be fulfilled.
16:39If you go through
16:40the prophecies
16:41of the Old Testament,
16:41there are a huge number
16:42of prophecies
16:43which have not yet
16:43been fulfilled
16:44and many people say
16:45it can never be fulfilled,
16:46especially Isaiah chapter 2
16:48where it speaks about
16:48the word of the Lord
16:49going out from Jerusalem
16:50and they're being world peace
16:52as they beat their swords
16:53into plowshares
16:53and spears into pruning hooks
16:54and don't study war anymore.
16:57Has that happened yet?
16:58No.
16:59The Bible says it will happen.
17:01It'll happen when all this
17:02is fulfilled,
17:03when Jesus wraps up
17:05all of these prophecies
17:06and fulfills them
17:06in himself.
17:09As a result of that,
17:10all the remaining prophecies
17:11will be fulfilled.
17:12All remaining Jews
17:12will be gathered to Israel.
17:17See,
17:18prophecies in Isaiah
17:18which speaks about
17:19the Lord taking them
17:20from the north,
17:20the south,
17:21the east and the west.
17:21So all remaining Jews
17:22will be gathered together.
17:25Jesus speaks about
17:25the trumpet sounding
17:26and gathering
17:27the elect,
17:28his elect,
17:29from the four winds of heaven
17:30which ties up
17:31with many prophecies
17:32in the Old Testament
17:33about the regathering
17:34of Israel
17:35in the latter days.
17:36They include also
17:37the people who died
17:39in faith
17:40in the previous dispensation
17:41in the time
17:42of the Old Covenant
17:43will be resurrected
17:44and gathered together
17:45unto the Lord
17:46in the Millennial Kingdom.
17:49And then the Lion
17:49will lie down
17:50with the Lamb,
17:50there will be peace
17:51in the natural world
17:52and the Millennial Temple
17:54will be built.
17:56According to Ezekiel,
17:56the Temple will be filled
17:57with the Spirit of the Lord
17:59and the Lord himself
18:00will enter into it
18:01by the Eastern Gate.
18:03And once he enters
18:04into the Temple
18:05that gate will be shut up
18:06and he will then
18:07dwell in the Temple
18:08and the Temple
18:09will be filled
18:09with the glory of the Lord.
18:11So the Bible envisages
18:13all these things
18:13taking place
18:14in the Millennial Kingdom.
18:17It will only happen
18:18when Jesus comes back.
18:20It won't happen
18:20as a result of negotiations
18:22and peace settlements
18:23and all that kind of stuff.
18:25It will happen
18:25only when Yeshua,
18:27the Messiah,
18:27comes.
18:28And he's the only one
18:28who can solve
18:29the problems
18:30of the Middle East,
18:31the problems
18:31of relationships
18:32between Jews and Arabs.
18:34He even says
18:34that wasn't going to be sought
18:35because Israel
18:37is going to be
18:37a third between
18:38Egypt and Syria
18:40and there's going to be
18:41a highway between them
18:42so he'll be living
18:43in peace between them.
18:45All these things
18:45are going to take place.
18:48They're going to take place
18:49to fulfill
18:50this prophecy of Daniel.
18:52So when Daniel says
18:53that these things
18:53are going to happen,
18:54everything which is written here
18:55is going to take place.
18:56certainly it hasn't
18:58happened yet.
18:59We do have
19:00reconciliation with God
19:01through Jesus
19:02but that's partial
19:03for a few people
19:06when it comes
19:07to the second coming
19:08of Jesus.
19:09Only people who are
19:09reconciled to God
19:10will be in the
19:11millennial kingdom.
19:13So these things
19:13are going to happen.
19:15And he says also
19:16that the Holy of Holies
19:17will be anointed
19:18as the Messiah
19:19rules and reigns
19:20from Jerusalem
19:21bringing peace
19:22to the earth.
19:23Can that happen?
19:28It can't happen
19:28if it's human
19:30committers working it out.
19:31It can only happen
19:31if God intervenes
19:33in the person
19:34of Yeshua
19:34Jesus the Messiah.
19:39When he does this
19:40he's going to
19:40cleanse the earth
19:41from evil.
19:42He's going to bring
19:43an end to the times
19:44of the Gentiles.
19:46The times of the Gentiles
19:47is an interesting phrase.
19:49Jesus spoke about
19:50Jerusalem being
19:50trodden down
19:51of the Gentiles
19:52until the times
19:53of the Gentiles
19:53are fulfilled.
19:55Some people think
19:56that that happened
19:57in 1967
19:57when Israel gained
19:58control of the
19:59old city of Jerusalem.
20:02It was a partial
20:03fulfillment
20:03and it was pushing
20:04towards the final
20:05fulfillment
20:05but Israel is still
20:07subject to the Gentiles
20:08in rule over Jerusalem
20:09because the most
20:11important place
20:11the Temple Mount
20:12is in the hands
20:12of the Muslims
20:13and the United Nations
20:15and all the nations
20:16are trying to tell Israel
20:16what to do with Jerusalem
20:17and want to divide up
20:19the city.
20:19Zechariah chapter 12
20:21tells you that.
20:22Only when Jesus returns
20:23will the end of the times
20:24of the Gentiles happen
20:25and the end of the times
20:27of Gentile domination.
20:29If you want the
20:30technical
20:31passage
20:33which deals with this
20:33it's Daniel chapter 2
20:34which tells you about
20:35the
20:36image of Nebuchadnezzar
20:39which symbolizes
20:41the Gentile rule
20:42over
20:42the Jewish people
20:43beginning with Babylon
20:44Persia
20:45Greece
20:46Rome
20:46and then looking forward
20:48to the
20:48iron and the clay
20:49which represents
20:50the time of the
20:51Antichrist
20:51at the end of days
20:52then the stone
20:53of Daniel
20:54in Daniel
20:55the stone
20:56hits the image
20:56and fills the earth
20:57which brings an end
20:59to the times
20:59of the Gentiles.
21:01I don't know if you
21:01understood all that
21:02but it means that
21:03there's a time coming
21:04when the Gentile
21:05rule over Jerusalem
21:06will come to an end
21:07the kingdom of God
21:09will be set up
21:09and Yeshua
21:10the Messiah
21:10will rule from Jerusalem
21:11all prophesied
21:13in the Old Testament
21:14also prophesied
21:15in the New Testament
21:16which speaks about
21:16Jesus coming back
21:17as King of Kings
21:19and Lord of Lords
21:20and taking up
21:21his rule
21:22from Jerusalem.
21:26So the saints
21:26have been taken
21:27in the rapture
21:28will return
21:29with the Messiah
21:30says that
21:32in Zechariah
21:32chapter 14
21:33the Lord will come
21:34and all the holy ones
21:34with him.
21:36Jude says that
21:37the Lord is coming
21:38with ten thousands
21:38of his saints
21:39Revelation 19
21:41says that the saints
21:42are coming with the Messiah
21:43it says the arm
21:44is in heaven
21:44clothed in fine linen
21:45and he says earlier
21:47that the fine linen
21:47is the righteousness
21:49of the saints.
21:50So when Jesus comes back
21:51he's not coming back
21:52on his own
21:52he's coming back
21:53with all those
21:54who've been taken
21:54in the rapture
21:55of the church.
21:56If you're a believer
21:57in Jesus
21:57you're going to be taken
21:58in the rapture
21:59of the church
21:59that means you're
21:59going to come back
22:00with him
22:00wearing robes
22:03of righteousness.
22:05I think that's
22:06a pretty exciting prospect
22:07so I'm looking forward
22:08to that.
22:09Some people tell you
22:10that Christianity
22:10is boring
22:11well it's not going
22:11to get boring
22:12when all this
22:12starts taking place
22:13I can tell you.
22:15Jesus is going
22:15to come back
22:16and he's going
22:17to come back
22:17with all power.
22:19That time
22:20he'll be joined
22:21by the Old Testament
22:22saints
22:23and he'll be
22:24resurrected
22:24Daniel 12
22:26tells you that
22:26and the tribulation
22:28saints
22:29those who died
22:29in faith
22:30during the tribulation
22:31period
22:32will also be
22:32resurrected
22:33according to
22:33Revelation 20
22:35verse 4
22:36following the return
22:37of the Messiah
22:38to the earth
22:38the believers
22:40who survived
22:41the tribulation
22:42will go into
22:42the millennial kingdom
22:43in mortal bodies
22:44and repelperate
22:46the earth
22:47in the millennial kingdom
22:48period.
22:49The unbelievers
22:50will be cast off
22:51the earth
22:51and that
22:54unfortunately
22:54will be the end
22:55of their time
22:56on earth.
22:59Satan will be bound
23:00and unable
23:00to influence
23:01the earth
23:01the nations
23:02and at that point
23:04it says that
23:05the earth will be
23:05full of the knowledge
23:06of the glory
23:06of the Lord
23:07as the waters
23:07cover the sea.
23:11Now a lot of the church
23:12has scrubbed
23:12all this out
23:12of the agenda
23:13but you have to
23:15scrub out
23:15a vast amount
23:16of Hebrew prophecy
23:18you certainly have
23:19to scrub out
23:20Revelation chapter 20
23:21if you want to
23:22scrub out
23:23the millennial kingdom
23:24because it's there
23:25in the Bible
23:25and what the Bible
23:29is telling you
23:29that when these things
23:30begin to happen
23:31certain events
23:32are going to take place
23:33in the world.
23:34That's why I start off
23:35with the political things
23:36you might think
23:37why is he going
23:37about stuff
23:39to do with politics
23:40and stuff to do
23:40with the Middle East?
23:42I'll tell you that
23:43because it all lines up
23:43with what the Bible
23:44says is going to happen
23:45in the last days.
23:47In the last days
23:47you're going to see
23:48somebody coming along
23:49to confirm a covenant
23:50a covenant with Israel
23:52which will bring
23:53a temporary peace
23:54which will break down
23:54halfway through
23:55and lead to the
23:56consummation
23:57which will be
23:58destruction upon
24:01the one who makes
24:01desolate
24:02the one who's
24:03causing all the
24:04desolation of the earth.
24:05I put it to you
24:07that we're living
24:08in the last days
24:09we're seeing a number
24:10of things taking place
24:11not just in the Middle East
24:12also in our own country
24:13and also in the rest
24:15of the world
24:15which point us
24:16in that direction
24:17but particularly
24:17in the Middle East
24:18because in a way
24:20Israel is God's signpost
24:21it's the epicenter
24:23of God's dealing
24:24in the last days.
24:26So when you see
24:27certain things
24:27happening in the last days
24:28certain things
24:29happening around you
24:30that line up
24:31with the last days
24:32it means you get ready
24:33for the coming
24:33of the Lord
24:34and right now
24:37I think we're
24:38heading
24:39towards this time
24:41now
24:41obviously one of the things
24:43which happens
24:44in prophecy
24:44is that sometimes
24:45events seem to be
24:46speeding up
24:46then they slow down
24:48and you don't know
24:49when it's
24:49really going to
24:51take place
24:51but what really
24:54interested me
24:55in the whole thing
24:55about this Trump program
24:56is it goes much further
24:57than what they said
24:58in the UN
24:59what they said
24:59in the UN
25:00was just a kind of
25:01idea that they want
25:03to have a Palestinian state
25:04there was no mechanism
25:05to bring it into being
25:06well this program
25:08which I started off with
25:09gives you a mechanism
25:10to bring it into being
25:11mechanism which
25:13has been accepted
25:14by Israel
25:15and partially accepted
25:17by Hamas
25:18has been accepted
25:20by Arab countries
25:21round about
25:21so it speaks about
25:23making a strong covenant
25:24with many
25:24so not just with Israel
25:26but with many people
25:27round about it
25:28so if you see that
25:29happening
25:30then you've got to
25:30prick up your ears
25:31and say yeah
25:32this is significant
25:32now whether it will
25:35come immediately
25:36remains to be seen
25:38obviously all sorts
25:39of things can go wrong
25:40and we're still living
25:42in very uncertain days
25:44but if you follow it
25:45through then
25:46something has been
25:47set in motion
25:48which ties up
25:50very much
25:50with what
25:51the Bible prophecies
25:53is going to happen
25:53in the last days
25:54so I think we should
25:56take notice of it
25:57and when you see
25:58these things begin
25:59to happen
25:59then don't panic
26:00look up and lift up
26:02your heads
26:02because your redemption
26:03draws near
26:03it means that
26:05Jesus is coming
26:05and get ready to
26:07meet with Jesus
26:08because when he comes
26:10he's going to judge
26:10the world in righteousness
26:11and we need to be
26:13in a right relationship
26:13with him
26:14and Jewish people
26:16need to be in a right
26:17relationship with him
26:18also
26:18because Judaism
26:19is not going to
26:20save them
26:20only Yeshua is
26:22that's why although
26:23we support Israel's
26:24right to exist
26:25we also believe that
26:26Israel and the Jewish
26:27people need Yeshua
26:29the Messiah
26:30because he is the Messiah
26:31and whether the church
26:33has failed
26:33which it has
26:34whether Israel has
26:35missed the boat
26:36which they have
26:37doesn't make any
26:38difference to the fact
26:39that Jesus
26:39is the only Messiah
26:41who God is going to send
26:41and the other
26:43interesting thing
26:44from that prophecy
26:45of Daniel
26:45is that
26:45if you take it
26:46literally
26:47then the Messiah
26:48must have come
26:48already
26:50says the Messiah
26:52uses the word
26:54Mashiach
26:54Messiah
26:54it says
26:55Messiah will come
26:55and be cut off
26:56not for himself
26:57then the people
26:58of the prince
26:58to come
26:59shall destroy
26:59the city
27:00and the sanctuary
27:00so either
27:02that means
27:04what it says
27:05which is that
27:06the Messiah
27:06must have come
27:07before the destruction
27:09of the second temple
27:10or it means
27:11something else
27:12rabbis say
27:14that Messiah
27:14just means
27:15an anointed one
27:16could mean
27:17some
27:17they said
27:18one of the things
27:18they say
27:18is King Agrippa
27:19who died
27:20before the destruction
27:21of the second temple
27:22which is nonsense
27:24King Agrippa
27:25is not even
27:26an anointed king
27:27of Israel
27:28he's just
27:28an Edomite
27:29who happened
27:30to take the time
27:31and I think
27:32he actually died
27:33after the destruction
27:34of the second temple
27:34as well
27:35others say
27:36it means
27:36that the high priest
27:37died before
27:38the second temple
27:39well high priests
27:40are dying all the time
27:40that doesn't make
27:42any difference
27:43what makes the difference
27:44is that the Mashiach
27:45comes
27:45and the Mashiach
27:47is Yeshua
27:48and he fulfilled
27:49all the other prophecies
27:50he's the suffering servant
27:52of Isaiah 53
27:53died by crucifixion
27:54according to
27:55Psalm 22
27:55he's the Messiah
27:58that's how it is
28:00and he's going to
28:01come again
28:02not this time
28:03as the suffering servant
28:03but this time
28:04as the king of kings
28:05and lord of lords
28:06and when he comes
28:06he's going to bring
28:07an end to
28:07all of the
28:08bad stuff
28:09which we talked about
28:10and he's going to bring
28:11in everlasting righteousness
28:12through faith in Jesus
28:13so when you see
28:16these things
28:16begin to happen
28:17look up
28:19because Jesus is coming
28:20and get ready
28:21to meet him
28:22and use the time
28:23that remains
28:24to spread the good news
28:25that there is a hope
28:27there's only one hope
28:29there's only one
28:30that's going to bring peace
28:31and there's only one
28:31that's going to bring peace
28:32that's Jesus
28:34the Messiah
28:35who is the prince of peace
28:36and when he comes again
28:39the government
28:39will be upon his shoulder
28:40so it's going to be
28:42considerably better
28:42than any of the governments
28:44we have now
28:44and it's going to be
28:46the good government
28:46and he's going to put to right
28:48all the mess
28:49which is in the world today
28:50can he do it?
28:52of course he can
28:53he's God
28:54so believe on the Lord Jesus
28:57Yeshua the Messiah
28:58and you shall be saved
29:00Amen
