00:00Saturday Night Live is losing three more cast members ahead of its latest season.
00:04Regulars Alex Moffat and Melissa Vela-Senor and featured player Aristotle Athari are leaving ahead of season 48, which begins in the fall.
00:12Their departures followed those of Aidy Bryant, Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon, and Kyle Mooney,
00:18who said their goodbyes in the final episode of season 47 in May.
00:22In addition, senior producer Lindsay Shukas, who worked on SNL since the early 2000s, also departed in late August.
00:29Moffat and Vela-Senor joined SNL as featured performers in 2016 and were promoted two years later.
00:35Moffat played President Joe Biden in several sketches before James Austin Johnson took over the role.
00:41Meanwhile, Vela-Senor's reoccurring impressions included Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Portez.
00:46Athari's time on SNL lasted one season, having joined the show as a featured player.
00:51The network has yet to set a premiere date for the new season.
