Transcript
00:00Saturday Night Live returns this weekend with a special remote episode and Dr. Anthony Fauci
00:04thinks that Brad Pitt should play him. Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy
00:09and Infectious Diseases, has become a household name for giving America the facts during White
00:13House press conferences amid the coronavirus pandemic. After a serious Friday segment about
00:17the pandemic on CNN, the conversation ended on a lighter note when anchor Alison Camerota asked
00:22Fauci if he thinks someone will portray him during the new SNL episode this weekend.
00:26I have no idea. I hope not. Camerota then asked if he had to pick an actor to play him,
00:32who would it be? Here are some suggestions that I've heard. Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt. Which one?
00:38Oh, Brad Pitt, of course. Of course, Fauci was joking. But news that SNL would return broke
00:43on Thursday, the plan being a special remote episode. Saturday's episode will air at 11.30
00:47p.m. Eastern and Pacific and include the popular Weekend Update segment as well as other original
00:52content from SNL cast members. There will not be a host. It's unclear if SNL will return on a
00:57regular weekly basis or if the special is a standalone test of sorts. For more on this
