00:04Governor Andrew Cuomo in a movie, and Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are becoming superheroes.
00:08First, the cast of SNL is inviting you into their homes one more time this season.
00:13NBC has set a third SNL at Home episode for this Saturday, May 9th,
00:17which will serve as the season 45 finale. There's no word yet on a host or musical guest.
00:22The show posted a promo video on Twitter to coincide with the announcement. It features
00:25some awkward outtakes cast members experienced while filming sketches at their homes.
00:30As this episode will be the season finale, it wouldn't come as too much of a surprise if more
00:42superstar special guests made appearances this weekend. Next, Robert De Niro knows who he's
00:46playing in the event of a pandemic-themed movie. THR's Neha Joy has more. The actor dropped into
00:51The Late Show via video chat on Wednesday to discuss his thoughts on sheltering in place
00:55and what exactly he's been up to in quarantine.
00:58I read scripts on the phone and just work out, try and stay alive.
01:04Later, host Stephen Colbert offered that there could even be a pandemic-themed movie in the
01:08works in the coming years and asked De Niro who he would want to play, to which the actor revealed
01:13it would be New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
01:15He's doing a great job. He's doing what any president should do.
01:20Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are teaming back up for a new superhero movie.
01:24After partnering on Disney's Jungle Cruise, the duo are attached to star in Ball and Chain,
01:29an adaptation of the 90s comic of the same name by Scott Lobdell, which the Big Sick co-writer
01:34Emily V. Gordon will adapt.
01:36The project, starring Johnson and Blunt, is being described as a superhero story meets
01:39Mr. and Mrs. Smith, where a couple struggling in their marriage are equipped with superpowers.
01:44However, their powers only work when they're together.
01:47Blunt and Johnson were set to hit theaters with Jungle Cruise on July 24th, but the release
01:51was pushed back a year by Disney due to theater closures amid the coronavirus pandemic.
01:56Careful. They can smell fear.
01:59I am not afraid.
