00:30Welcome to Our Celebrity Unpacked, coming to you live from the Australian jungle.
00:39Hey, if it's Jungle Track you're looking for, you have come to the right place.
00:42Yes, indeedy. Today we saw H voted in as new camp leader.
00:46We saw Kelly forgetting her own birthday.
00:48And Martin Kemp finally shed light on why Roman's middle name is Wheelbarrow.
00:54Here's what's coming up on today's show.
00:56Sean Walsh and Jill Scott return to our sofa to discuss today's action.
00:59Kemi will be checking out tomorrow's Bush Tucker trial.
01:02And we'll be speaking to Eddie's best mate and former campmate, Babatunde Aleshe.
01:05But first, time to welcome two men who were rudely insulted today by Ginge.
01:10It's our two favourite dickheads.
01:12It's our Dede!
01:13Very good.
01:15Very good.
01:16Oh, hi, darling.
01:21Oh, all right.
01:22Oh, good, thank you.
01:23Double denim.
01:24Yeah, we did it accidentally.
01:26On the hottest day of the year in Australia.
01:29What are you thinking?
01:30I always think it was a good idea before the sun's come up and then I wear something like this.
01:33And then the sun goes, and I'm like, ah, I'm roasting.
01:35He particularly spiked you to do this.
01:37He doesn't know you can feel it.
01:38It's a nice change from all the rain.
01:40Slip, slap, slop.
01:40Be careful you don't slip as well, guys.
01:43Be careful you don't slip.
01:45Before we jump in, that was Good For You by Olivia Rodrigo.
01:48Uh-huh.
01:492021.
01:50Who won that year, please?
01:52What are we going for?
01:532021.
01:54Castle in Wales.
01:56Giovanna Fletcher.
01:57Giovanna Fletcher?
01:58What are you going for?
01:59Well, yeah.
02:00Yeah, Giovanna Fletcher, yeah.
02:02Who was it?
02:04No, it was the second.
02:05Eddie Miller.
02:08Look at that.
02:092020 was Giovanna Fletcher.
02:112020 was Giovanna.
02:13Sorry, guys.
02:14Oh, I'm so bad at this game.
02:16You know what?
02:16Let's bring up the mood with some questions.
02:17Okay.
02:19H, who was nominated for the trial?
02:21Yeah.
02:21He's doing it again.
02:23Yeah, and, you know, him being a leader is brilliant.
02:26Yeah.
02:26Um, uh, Ginger's great yesterday.
02:29Them two are really good.
02:30Their banter's really good.
02:31Yeah.
02:32We won't even mind it when they're rude to us.
02:33They can kind of get away with it, can't they, them two?
02:35Yeah.
02:35How do you imagine?
02:36I don't think I've ever seen anyone call you a ticket before.
02:38You weren't sure about it?
02:38No, it felt rude.
02:40Last fella who did, you want to see him.
02:42Still an intensive care.
02:44You want to see him.
02:45He's actually quite, he's fine.
02:47He's fine.
02:47He's fine.
02:48He's not perfect.
02:49Is there, like, a celebrity you've had fun with bantering over the years?
02:52Because, obviously, your reactions are, like, half the show.
02:54We love it.
02:54And yesterday, you were giving it as much as you were taking it.
02:56Is there anyone else over the years you can remember?
02:58A lot.
02:59A lot.
02:59Janice Dickinson.
03:00Yeah, she used to give it.
03:01We've got a lot of stuff, Janice.
03:03Um, Jillian, Lady C.
03:05Yeah.
03:06There was a lot of back and forwards with Lady C.
03:08Even last year, Dean, me and Dean, we did a CI trial a lot of trials.
03:12Let's forget that.
03:14I know, but it's about, it's so weird, I thought, this year, when we were watching them, we were
03:18like, oh, yeah, do you remember seeing them do the chores?
03:20Remember when Dean didn't do those chores?
03:22It's such a different vibe.
03:23They all get on so well.
03:24It's so different.
03:25I mean, like, Lisa's the only one to not do a trial so far.
03:28Yeah.
03:29I feel like, weirdly, though, she's not being missed from the camp.
03:33She's still, usually, they're not featuring, but she's featuring so much.
03:37Yeah, she's in it tons, but I think just people really like her because she does feel like
03:41the heart of the camp.
03:42Yeah.
03:42She's in there, like you said yesterday, she's so empathetic and she's there, always lending
03:46a near to everybody and wants to chat with them.
03:49She's so lovely.
03:50So I don't think anybody really thinks, oh, let's put her through the mill.
03:52Yeah, that's true.
03:53It would be almost too cruel, wouldn't it?
03:55Yeah.
03:55I loved today's trial.
03:57It was so much fun.
03:58It was so good.
03:59Which would have been the worst boxes for you guys to shove your heads into?
04:03I don't love a spider.
04:05Well, I didn't, I used to hate spiders until we worked on this show.
04:08Has this helped?
04:09This has really helped.
04:10It's exposure therapy.
04:11Yeah, you just feed them all the time and you know that even if they do bite you, those
04:15huntsmen, they're not going to kill you.
04:17So I feel like, yeah, I feel like I'm getting a bit better with it all.
04:21But I think I would have been all right with it all.
04:23Oh, I think that London box was horrible.
04:25There were so many rats.
04:26And then the cockroaches.
04:27Coming down, it's a busy box.
04:29It was a very busy box.
04:30It was a very busy box.
04:31Very busy box.
04:31Very busy box.
04:33Have you ever had any, like, critters in your hotel rooms or dressing rooms and stuff?
04:37Yeah, actually, do you know the place you stay?
04:39Yes.
04:41We stayed there one year and they'd just built it, just finished.
04:44And as we went down the corridor to our rooms, there was huntsman spiders all over the wall.
04:49Is that why you make us stay there?
04:50Are you kidding?
04:51Yeah, we no longer stay there.
04:52No, no, I'm not kidding.
04:53Apparently they built it on loads of, like, huntsman spider nests.
04:57And so the huntsman spiders go back there to kind of build nests again.
05:01I don't want to go back there.
05:02Can I bunk in with you guys?
05:03Yeah, yeah.
05:04I thought it was up to town.
05:04Yeah, but they were literally all over the walls.
05:07It came out, like, two in the morning.
05:08This was, like, 15 years ago.
05:09Yeah.
05:09Oh, my God.
05:10I'm sure they must have found a new home by now.
05:12I think it's got a good hope.
05:13So, what was your favourite clip from today?
05:15It was Ginger and H, and just them becoming leader and deputy, and then the ensuing madness from then on in.
05:24It's so, so fun.
05:26I love them together.
05:26It promises so much as well.
05:28It really does.
05:29Have a look.
05:30It's about to go off.
05:32It's going to go off in here.
05:33Stay locked in, because it's about to go sideways.
05:37No, that's what you call a storm.
05:39That is a storm.
05:41Shit storm.
05:42Oh, my God.
05:44How would you like us to address you now?
05:47You don't have to get too formal.
05:48It's fine.
05:49I'm still H, but someone needs to put the foot down round here, and if it's got to be me, it's got to be me.
05:54All right.
05:55Anyway, we're going to start off with camp chefs.
05:58We do believe these are the best people for the job.
06:01The camp chefs are Jack and Alex.
06:06Ah!
06:07Oh!
06:08Very smart.
06:09Alex.
06:10Yeah.
06:11Next up, Your Majesty, washing up.
06:14Your Majesty.
06:15Your Majesty.
06:16What the heck?
06:17HRH.
06:18That's what they should have called it.
06:19Yay!
06:20HRH.
06:21Very good.
06:22Very good.
06:23It's the kind of joke that people don't laugh at.
06:25But they've got very clever jobs.
06:27Oh, very clever.
06:28That's why he's the thinking man's comedian.
06:31I've got a script.
06:32I think they're going to be so good.
06:36Do you think it's going to start?
06:38I think it might start to annoy people, because he's so lovable.
06:41But also, they've started up here.
06:43Yes.
06:44Your Majesty.
06:45And, you know, the big intro.
06:47It's started high.
06:48Yeah.
06:49And then when Ginger went, everybody stand.
06:51You're like, really?
06:53Stand.
06:54Shut up, you idiot.
06:55Stand.
06:56Yeah, that would grit.
06:58Yeah.
06:59Very much.
07:00I think so.
07:01Kelly obviously forgot her birthday today, which I thought was brilliant.
07:03Yeah, I know.
07:04It is so hard in here, because we were obviously working a slight day before.
07:07Yes.
07:08And they're like, do you ever just forget what day it is entirely?
07:10Yes.
07:11Constantly.
07:12And where we stay compared to where we work, there's an hour difference.
07:15Yes.
07:16So, you're constantly changing, you're watching your phone, and it can be very confusing.
07:20It's a nightmare for booking a massage.
07:22It really is.
07:24There are other times I've been led to a pedicure.
07:27I always arrive an hour late.
07:29Obviously.
07:30To do your massage.
07:31We're in, we're in.
07:32Yeah, we got it.
07:33You didn't have to follow up.
07:34We didn't have to follow up.
07:35No, exactly.
07:36It's good to know what you guys get up to after this year.
07:38I always did wonder.
07:39Um, week two now, obviously we're talking about Ginger and H coming in strong.
07:43I personally feel might ruffle a couple of feathers, because I've sensed a shift in mood.
07:48Now we're one week in.
07:49Do you guys find that, when we get to week two, that everyone's now that the hunger's properly
07:53settled in with the campmates?
07:54Yeah.
07:55They get a bit arsy, don't they?
07:57With each other.
07:58When's the pick-up time again?
07:59When do we get there?
08:00As soon as they start going.
08:01Yeah.
08:02Once people start going, and then the camp gets smaller and smaller.
08:05But we noticed this morning, we literally said it on the way out.
08:08Yeah.
08:09It was a bit somber in there this morning.
08:10We saw.
08:11We just said you announced that we're like, okay.
08:12I'm not quite sure what they were talking about.
08:13They have this council meeting, don't they?
08:15Camp council every morning, which I think is a wonderful idea where they can kind of
08:18get things off their chest and their grievances or whatever.
08:21But whatever they were talking about, just before we went in, was obviously quite somber.
08:25Yeah.
08:26Yeah.
08:27It's a real sort of tonal shift from you guys coming in and them singing PJ and Duncan.
08:31Yeah, I know.
08:32Do you know what I mean?
08:33Very different to me.
08:34I walked in this time and everyone went, ah.
08:35Ah.
08:36You guys.
08:37We hate you guys.
08:38Come on.
08:39Come on.
08:40Put us through hell or you think you're able to say.
08:41I think they start to hate us now.
08:42Yeah.
08:43Yeah.
08:44Yeah.
08:45I would never feel that way.
08:46You've been doing this for 25 series now.
08:49Is there any story to keep reminding you?
08:51Time to move over.
08:52When are you going to retire?
08:53Have you taken anything home?
08:54I take like a star or something.
08:55Oh, yeah.
08:56We take lots of stars every year to kind of sign and stuff.
08:57Yeah.
08:58Give out to people.
08:59What's the biggest thing you've stolen?
09:00I think I've got Carol Thatcher's water bottle somewhere.
09:01Yeah.
09:02I've got Christopher Viggins' backpack somewhere.
09:03Oh.
09:04That's a good one.
09:05It is a good one.
09:06Yeah.
09:07We should have a competition so you can steal the biggest thing.
09:08Okay.
09:09That'll be fun.
09:10That's good.
09:11See if you get a good one.
09:12That'll be fun.
09:13That'll be fun.
09:14That'll be fun.
09:15That'll be fun.
09:16That'll be fun.
09:17That'll be fun.
09:18That'll be fun.
09:19That'll be fun.
09:20That'll be fun.
09:21That's good.
09:22See if you get a camp bed in...
09:23Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:24In your overhead locker as you get on the blitz.
09:26I love it.
09:27Well, thank you, guys.
09:28Thank you very much.
09:29Pleasure.
09:30Cheers.
09:31Have a good show.
09:32Have a good show.
09:33Have a good show.
09:34See you tomorrow.
09:35Bye, guys.
09:36Yeah.
09:37Now, as always, we want to hear from you lovely lots to get in touch on socials or via WhatsApp.
09:41Details are on the screen below.
09:42I mean, was H right to pick Ginge as his deputy?
09:45How do you think Ruby will get on with Dunny duty?
09:48Who is not pulling their weight?
09:49Give us your strongest takes.
09:50Go on.
09:51Go on.
09:52Time for a break now, but when we get back, we'll be joined by Jill Scott and Sean Walsh
09:55Plus speak to Shona live in the Bush Telegraph.
09:58How lucky are we?
09:59We must have Ruby's knickers.
10:01See you in a bit.
10:02There she is.
10:03There she is.
10:11Welcome back to I'm a Celebrity Unpacked.
10:14Time to bring on our very special guest.
10:16Yesterday, she described him as a child.
10:19He described her as unfair because she wouldn't let him have sweets before pet.
10:23It's Jill Scott and Sean Walsh, everyone.
10:24Hello.
10:25Good bush entrance.
10:26Good bush entrance.
10:27Welcome to the show to the both of you.
10:28How are you both today?
10:29You all right?
10:30Yeah.
10:31Very good, thank you.
10:32Great show.
10:33Great show, isn't it?
10:34Yes.
10:35Can't wait to unpack it all.
10:36What did you think?
10:37Oh, it was really good.
10:38There was lots going on, wasn't there?
10:39Lots going on.
10:40Loved the idea of Ruby Waxing the wheelbarrow around the house.
10:41Fantastic.
10:42That's such a great...
10:43You know, we watch it, you're like, this is such a fun conversation that you would never
10:59see anywhere else.
11:00I absolutely loved it.
11:02So, we'll be unpacking that later on, but H, first of all, was voted as camp leader.
11:06He started off his reign by charitably giving the comfy bed to the youngest person in camp.
11:11Here's a reminder.
11:12There's only one man that I can choose to be my deputy right now.
11:15Come on.
11:16Yeah.
11:17He's a bit of an ugly man, but he's my deputy, so talk to him nice.
11:21It's Jin.
11:22Yeah!
11:23Yeah!
11:24Yeah!
11:25Yeah!
11:26Yeah!
11:27Yeah!
11:28It's interesting, isn't it?
11:30Do you think H made the right choice, Kevin?
11:32No.
11:33Do you not think?
11:34What he's done, he's got really excited.
11:35He's like, me and my best mate, we're gonna have sleepovers together and it's gonna be
11:38really fun.
11:39And it's like, oh, but you guys already had the nicer beds in the beginning.
11:43Yeah.
11:44It would've been really nice to have given it to someone who, like, Lisa or Jack, who
11:46I do feel are leaders in the camp.
11:49They're very, like, fair or whatever.
11:50To be fair to H and Jinch, I feel like when they did the chores, and we'll speak about it,
11:53they were very fair, they put a lot of thought into it.
11:56But just give someone else a nice of them.
11:58I don't know, I think that they've kind of, they've let the, they've let the children run
12:03the nursery, basically.
12:04They're the youngest kids in there, and I think it could lead to a lot of fun.
12:08Because they're best mates, what I'm hoping is they'll egg each other on in that kind of
12:13schoolboy way.
12:14They'll be mischievous, and it could be fun.
12:16Yeah, okay.
12:17I always relate everything back to football, and you have a manager and an assistant,
12:20and I think sometimes it's good to have different personalities.
12:23Yeah.
12:24Because then you can think, should they do that?
12:26And you can have, like, kind of different arguments about it.
12:29But I don't know if the two are like, they're just gonna agree with each other, aren't they?
12:32Like, I hate to bring this back to GCS English, but it feels like the start of Lord of the Flies,
12:37doesn't it?
12:38Do you know what I mean?
12:39Like, two really, I'll be getting really excited.
12:40Yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:41It's, like, H was being really comforted by Lisa.
12:44I was sort of surprised that he didn't give it to Lisa.
12:48Like, last night she gave so much to him.
12:50Yeah.
12:51Yeah, I think, I mean, look, we all love Lisa, and if she was in charge,
12:54it would be a very happy camp.
12:56It would be very caring, and she would be very considerate.
12:59And that is not what we want.
13:01That is not what we want.
13:02I think we want it to be fun, and they're having fun already.
13:05We've seen that with who they were picking to do the chores.
13:08So, no, I'm happy with that selection.
13:10I think it's going to be great.
13:11Yeah.
13:12I think it's going to be very entertaining.
13:13I love them both.
13:14Yes.
13:15I think they're happy.
13:16We all do.
13:17It's so, so fun.
13:18But I think, again, like you say, they got a bit excited, and I feel like if they thought
13:21about it a little bit more, they maybe should have given it to someone who's a bit older,
13:24like maybe Ruby.
13:25Yeah.
13:26someone who needs that bed a little bit more.
13:27Do you think the power's going to go to their heads a little bit, Jill?
13:30I think it probably will, actually.
13:32I think it will, because already, was it when they went to sit and touch the throne, and
13:37he stood up and was like, don't touch my throne, and I think all the cats jumped.
13:41Don't touch my throne.
13:42I think everyone was genuinely shocked by that.
13:43Yeah.
13:44They were like, whoa, okay, fine.
13:45I won't do that again, and I'll knock you.
13:48Don't you touch my throne.
13:49Oh, Liam Gallagher was over with us.
13:50He's been practising this for hours.
13:53Literally for hours for this woman.
13:56Fron!
13:57Fron!
13:58I'll tell you what can happen in there, though, and you might remember this, is if you're
14:02really tired, and you haven't eaten, and you're feeling a bit hangry, and people with more
14:08energy than you start to have fun, that can actually wind you up.
14:12So it can backfire.
14:13That's something to look out for, I think.
14:15Yeah.
14:16Well, new leaders means new chores, and we saw Jack back as chef.
14:20Yeah.
14:21It's a good choice, I think, right?
14:22Yeah, definitely.
14:23Perfect.
14:24Definitely.
14:25I think out of everybody, you'd want Jack, wouldn't you?
14:27I think the camp were praying that Jack was going to be a cook again.
14:30Yeah.
14:31Oh, I feel really bad for Kelly, but every day, they'd be like, this slop.
14:35Do you know what I mean?
14:36Yeah.
14:37And they're like, oh, yeah, Jack, the best man for the job.
14:39Which is so...
14:40He is the best man for the job.
14:41Kelly's there going, we've lost the pan.
14:43I can't find the pan.
14:44Yeah, yeah, yeah.
14:45Lost the potatoes.
14:46Again.
14:47They had crock feet, which is quite a hard thing to cook.
14:49Did you have crock feet when you were there?
14:51Do you remember crock feet?
14:52Yes, I do.
14:53That was the only food I couldn't eat.
14:55Really?
14:56Because it looks, if you saw that, you'll see that it still looks like what it looks like when it's
15:00on the animal.
15:01What does it taste like?
15:02And that's...
15:03It tastes all right, to be honest.
15:04I couldn't get through it.
15:05It's got the claws, you have to take off the claws.
15:09So you have to do a manicure before you eat it?
15:11You have to do a manicure before you eat.
15:13But it looks like what it looks, for me, the meat has to not look like the animal when
15:18it was alive.
15:19It would be like having a burger and the cows just looking at you in the buns.
15:22You know what I mean?
15:23I don't want that.
15:24I couldn't do it.
15:25You put me off my lunch now.
15:26Yeah.
15:27Obviously, let's talk about chores.
15:28Vogue and Tom initially set the chores and no one was really happy about what they
15:33paid.
15:34Now, there on washing up, which you guys have said is like the worst thing, do you think
15:37it was a little bit of revenge?
15:38A little bit, I think.
15:39I think they did say that when they were handing it out.
15:41But Vogue took it well.
15:42She was like, yeah, I'll do it.
15:43I think she kind of looked at Tom and was like, they kind of have that special bond,
15:48don't they, because they came in a little bit later, a little bit like Sean and Matt
15:52Hancock.
15:53Oh, yeah, that's the exact same.
15:55You keep that bond.
15:56Such a special bond.
15:57Such a bond.
15:58Such a bond.
15:59Me and Matt Hancock hosting this when Anton Deck have left.
16:02That's what it's going to be.
16:03I can see that.
16:05I think Tom will like washing up.
16:07He'll like it nice and clean, won't he?
16:08Yeah.
16:09Down there.
16:10I think my balls need a good scrap.
16:13It's never not funny doing a dresser with Tom.
16:16Absolutely love it.
16:17Well, thank you guys.
16:18You've been sending in all of your questions for the campmates and we've got Shona in the
16:22bush telegraph right now.
16:23Are you there, Shona?
16:24I'm here.
16:25I'm not going anywhere.
16:26All right.
16:27We've been given very special permission to put some viewer questions to you.
16:30Are you ready?
16:31So ready.
16:32Great stuff.
16:33OK, this is from Lorna.
16:35What has been your favourite meal in the jungle so far?
16:38Oh, my favourite meal in the jungle so far has to be crocodile feet.
16:43I know.
16:44What?
16:45Oh.
16:46I know when they arrived in the bag they looked quite gnarly.
16:49Had better nails than me.
16:51But do you know what?
16:53I was eating them like I had a foot fetish.
16:55They were so nice.
16:59Tastes like chicken.
17:00I love that.
17:01Yeah.
17:02Fair.
17:03Well, Meg wants to know who is the loudest in camp?
17:05Eddie.
17:06Oh.
17:07Eddie is so loud.
17:09Like in a great way.
17:10He's like a hyena.
17:12He's just laughing.
17:13You can hear him from the other side of the jungle.
17:15Oh, my God.
17:16Yeah, he's hilarious.
17:17Yeah.
17:18OK, well, Stee also wants to know if there's one thing you could change about camp, what
17:21would it be?
17:22Oh, we'd have a washing machine.
17:24That would be helpful, wouldn't it?
17:25Yeah, it would be really nice.
17:26That would be very weird.
17:28I like that.
17:29What's worse, the jungle or Walford?
17:31That's from James.
17:32Well, this is a tough one because Walford, you're more than likely to get murdered.
17:37Out here, you get bitten to death.
17:40Ooh.
17:41So, I mean, it's a toss-up.
17:42That's true.
17:43Josie says, what do you miss that you actually didn't expect to miss?
17:47Oh, I mean, my nephews.
17:50You didn't think you were going to miss them?
17:52No.
17:53No.
17:54No.
17:59You've said it now.
18:00You've said it now.
18:01Locked in.
18:02This is from Faye.
18:03What have you learned about yourself so far?
18:06Oh, I've learned that I came in here with the worst anxiety and fear.
18:11And I've learned that it's actually okay to talk about it and that you're not mad.
18:18No, you're not.
18:19That's great.
18:20Yeah.
18:21That's great.
18:22And this is a question from Carol says, you're such a good singer and obviously so is Martin.
18:25Will you make a good camp song for us right now, please?
18:29We would love to.
18:31Absolutely.
18:32Let's make it happen.
18:33We can do that.
18:34I'm excited.
18:35I'm excited to see it.
18:36That's great.
18:37Thank you so much, Shona.
18:38Great to chat.
18:39Love that.
18:41We'll be having more of them live with us over the next couple of weeks.
18:45Kemi, off you go to the trial clearing now.
18:47Ooh, later.
18:48That's all that got in tomorrow's trial after the break.
18:50So we'll see you in a bit.
18:52Good fun.
18:53Welcome back to Up Pact, everybody.
18:54Time for an unseen clip.
18:55Ruby Wax has met presidents and prime ministers, but today she finally got an audience with
19:09the camp leaders.
19:10Take a look at this.
19:13Ladies.
19:14Hi darling.
19:15How are you?
19:16I'm really good.
19:17Are we okay?
19:18Yeah, we're all here.
19:19Please take a seat.
19:21If you hear of people ever bickering, if you hear of anyone slagging us.
19:26Negative Norris.
19:27Yeah, negative Norris.
19:28We don't need a negative Norris.
19:29If you hear anyone complaining about their jobs, okay, you come and tell us and we'll
19:33deal with that.
19:34All right.
19:35Okay.
19:36All right.
19:37No negative Norris.
19:38Negative Norris.
19:39Okay.
19:40All right.
19:41I really like that.
19:42I like that.
19:43See, this is what I mean.
19:44Yeah.
19:45You put those two in charge and they start mucking about, they start getting up to no good.
19:48I like it.
19:49They've already got spies in camp.
19:50Who do you think are going to be the negative Norris?
19:52Oh, good question.
19:53I think Kelly will see if she's not happy with something.
19:56I definitely think she will do that.
19:58That's true.
19:59We said about the power going to the head straight away.
20:01They're like, right, we want no negativity.
20:03Yeah.
20:04They're suddenly assigning new rules to people.
20:06Yeah.
20:07Alex wasn't happy about the bean gate.
20:09Yes.
20:10Mm-hmm.
20:11So, you know, if she's still hungry, she's still tired maybe.
20:13It's quite sort of dictatorial, isn't it?
20:15Is that the right word?
20:16Yeah.
20:17You know, like dictator.
20:18Dictator.
20:19I don't know.
20:20Do you know what I mean?
20:21We need Tom.
20:22What is Tom?
20:23What is it, Tom?
20:24Does it remind you of being the mole in your year with Matt Hancock?
20:27Oh, my God.
20:28Do you remember?
20:29Oh, I remember that.
20:30That's me and Hancock were in late and we were given the duty of being a mole and I had
20:35to pretend that I could hear birds' voices and knew what-
20:39That was it.
20:40Or birds singing and I would know what the bird was from them singing.
20:43Do you remember that?
20:44Yeah, I remember.
20:45That was the first time I met you and I was like, this guy is crazy.
20:48He was just aiming all these birds and I was like, yeah, okay, well done.
20:53And now you've known him for like three years, you're like, yeah, he's still crazy.
20:57Yeah, exactly.
20:58That's a purple shamrock.
20:59I can hear that.
21:00Yeah.
21:01Today as well, Kelly forgot it was her own birthday.
21:04Oh.
21:05Like, do you, like, just let people know sort of how much you sort of lose track of time
21:09in there.
21:10It's weird.
21:11That's real.
21:12Yeah, we know that.
21:13That's genuine.
21:14If you're in there, you know, if you're watching the show and you're thinking, how can
21:15you forget your own birthday?
21:17Trust me that you lose all sense of time.
21:20Yeah.
21:21Can you remember Mike Tindall used to look up at the sky and he used to go, it's three
21:25o'clock, it's four o'clock.
21:26And then I only learned recently that it was because somebody in our show was diabetic
21:32and they had a monitor.
21:33So he was looking at the time on the monitor the whole time.
21:37And I was like, this guy is a genius.
21:39What?
21:40He was obviously reading it.
21:41Yeah.
21:42That's so funny.
21:43So he was actually reading off someone's diabetic monitor, but then pretended it was like
21:46the size.
21:47I love that.
21:48We thought he was like a caveman and he could read the time.
21:51That's so funny.
21:52It was.
21:53It's so weird, isn't it?
21:54Because you completely lose track of time.
21:55And I remember we always used to sort of try and catch someone's watch whenever you'd
21:59go to trial and someone would come back.
22:01It's like that, isn't it?
22:02Yes.
22:03You try and see, because Anton Deck cover up their watches and things.
22:05Yeah.
22:06Also, you knew the time if you heard Anton Deck scream, I'm a celebrity to get me out
22:11of here.
22:12You would know that, okay, that must be at seven o'clock.
22:14Yeah.
22:15And then that would kind of give you a gauge of where you were in the day.
22:17Yes.
22:18I think people on our show knew everything about the show.
22:21They really did.
22:22They were like, this is kind of going to happen now.
22:24And I was just oblivious to everything.
22:27Yeah, we had no idea.
22:28No idea.
22:29Absolutely clueless.
22:30And that's why we've brought you out here.
22:32Yes, exactly.
22:33To be guests on our sofa.
22:34Such fans of the show.
22:35We also saw Alex being a bit naughty naughty tonight, didn't we?
22:42Many campmates have brought in contraband over the years.
22:44Were you surprised that it was Alex?
22:47I didn't think it was going to be her who brought something in, right?
22:50Yeah, because I thought she would follow the rules, actually.
22:52Yeah.
22:53But I think if you're going to bring something in, like something to do with flavouring or...
22:58What did we have?
22:59There was something our year, I think, where Chris went out for a trial, was it?
23:03Well, Chris brought back a biscuit.
23:06Yes, that was it.
23:07Remember that?
23:08Yeah.
23:09Chris Moyles.
23:10Yeah.
23:11Brought in a biscuit and hid it in the dunny.
23:13Was this on telly?
23:14I don't know if they ever showed it.
23:15I don't know if it got in.
23:16He went out for a trial and then he come back, wrapped it in some tissue and he went to me
23:21and you, I think, he was like, there's some custard creams in the dunny.
23:24And we ran there, obviously eating a biscuit where people are pooing.
23:29And it was like, it was the best feeling ever.
23:32That means you could hear us in the dunny going, mmm, this is wonderful, mmm, lovely.
23:38This guy really enjoys the dunny.
23:40But I was surprised how indiscreet Alex was, we're getting the salt in.
23:44Yes.
23:45You know, it's quite clear.
23:46It was up there, the pan was down there.
23:48So, we'll see what happens.
23:49I don't know, is there going to be a punishment?
23:51Did you get punished?
23:52Would you want to see them punished?
23:53I think that's interesting.
23:55Oh, that's harsh.
23:56I wouldn't want to see them punished.
23:58Sean would.
23:59Just a bit...
24:01I just can't, I just think she could, she should have been a bit more discreet.
24:04Yeah.
24:05She was like that.
24:06It's like she was going to get out the pepper next.
24:07Yeah.
24:08One of the big wooden things.
24:09Yeah, she was doing, like, salt bae.
24:10She was in there doing this.
24:12So indiscreet.
24:13The, um, like, usually, well, sometimes what they do is they go,
24:17oh, anyone who's got contraband, can you please give it up?
24:20And this is why it's really interesting, because often they haven't told each other,
24:23and then someone who hasn't revealed they've got contraband will reveal they've got contraband.
24:28Do you know what I mean?
24:29Yeah, yeah, yeah.
24:30So Alex will give up hers, and then that's also very interesting.
24:31Do you know what I mean?
24:32Yeah.
24:33So they don't know, she's not told anyone?
24:34No.
24:35Wow.
24:36But then there will probably be a punishment then, do you not think?
24:39Losing stars, I assume.
24:41Oh.
24:42Oh, that could be good.
24:43Which is huge.
24:44People could get very cranky.
24:45Yeah.
24:46Very hangry.
24:47That's what we want.
24:48That's what I want in there, and that's what we all want.
24:49We want hangry campmates.
24:51We want hangry campmates.
24:52That's what we're after.
24:53With no salt.
24:54With no salt.
24:55I think it's very interesting, sort of.
24:57The contraband thing is always really fun, and actually it's happening more nowadays
25:01than it used to.
25:02Yeah.
25:03And I think people are watching it going like, well, Melvin did it last year.
25:05Maybe I could sneak it in, but I've never seen someone do it as obviously as Alex Scott.
25:09Fair play to her.
25:10Right.
25:11I think Kemi should have arrived at a worst nightmare by now.
25:14What's it looking like, Kemi?
25:15Yeah, usually, Joel, my worst nightmare is being on stage naked, but luckily for everyone,
25:18I've got clothes on this time.
25:20This is the bedroom from hell.
25:22Night-night, sleep tight.
25:23So tomorrow, H is going to be strapped to this very bed and live out three terrifying
25:28nightmares.
25:29He's going to be twisting and turning through his worst nightmares while having to untie stars.
25:33So the three nightmares are dinner is served, which is just a huge no from me.
25:37It's a room full of spiders.
25:39This one is, oh, it's actually a real bed, Joel.
25:41It's actually quite comfortable.
25:42Look at this.
25:43So cute.
25:44In grave danger, which is a haunting graveyard scene with critters raining down.
25:48And then the frenzied forest where he's going to be joined by black-headed pythons.
25:52And apparently there's 1.5 meters.
25:55Oh.
25:56What?
25:57Oh, no, no.
25:58Oh, my God.
25:59Oh, my God.
26:00It's petrifying.
26:01Norway.
26:02Oh, my God.
26:03Oh, my God.
26:04They're 1.5 meters long.
26:06No.
26:07It's real.
26:08I mean, it's definitely real.
26:09It's really real.
26:10Oh, my God.
26:11Brilliant slave for you, though.
26:12I would say.
26:13So, basically, he's going to have four minutes to collect four stars.
26:18Whoa, he's moving.
26:19Whoa, he's moving.
26:20So, there's 12 stars up for grabs in total.
26:22Oh, my God.
26:23Oh, my God.
26:24Oh, my God.
26:25I don't think I'm going to sleep again, Joel.
26:27He's going down my leg.
26:28Oh, my God.
26:29Oh, my God.
26:30Joel, ask me something.
26:32For a second there, when you said he's going down my leg, I thought you were talking about
26:36the guy behind you.
26:37That guy is absolutely petrified.
26:39Yeah.
26:40Also, we didn't reference that guy.
26:41This is a ghoul.
26:42So, nice to meet you, ghoul.
26:43That's a ghoul.
26:44Oh, my goodness.
26:45Oh, wow.
26:46Is this your favorite behind-the-scenes trial thing we've done so far, Kemi?
26:50Yeah, I feel like we're up in the ante each time.
26:53I'm actually terrified to do whatever tomorrow is.
26:55I feel like I'm also living the trial.
26:57I'm so shaky.
26:58Oh, my God.
26:59Well done for keeping your composure while you did that.
27:02Just.
27:03What's the snake called?
27:04Do we know?
27:05What's the snake called?
27:06A black-headed python.
27:07A black-headed python.
27:08I don't think he has a name.
27:09Fluffy.
27:10Oh, there's something really funny about that really scary ghoul.
27:14Just like, his name's Jonathan.
27:16I love that.
27:17How do you think H will do in the trial, Kemi?
27:20I think he's going to...
27:21It depends.
27:22The thing is, H has had a few tricky trials where he's afraid of a few things.
27:25Like, we're throwing a lot of things at him.
27:27So, it depends how he is with snakes.
27:29He wasn't good with the eating, but I actually think he's going to do better.
27:31So, I don't know.
27:32Six or seven.
27:33Well, there's a ghoul behind you with a spider right now.
27:35He's going to go to...
27:36Don't you dare.
27:38We're just having a bit of fun.
27:39Just a bit of fun.
27:40Just a bit of banter.
27:41Thank you, Kemi.
27:42Get yourself back up here.
27:43Don't bring the snake.
27:45Jill, you faced a trial lying down in 2022, was it?
27:48Yeah.
27:49Yeah.
27:50How was that?
27:51Oh, horrible.
27:52It was rats, actually.
27:53And I hate rats.
27:54I don't know why, when you do the calls beforehand, you reveal all your fears.
27:58Yes.
27:59And the rats were like...
28:00I remember them snuggling up to my armpit.
28:02There you are.
28:03Look at that.
28:04Oh, that is...
28:05Oh, it was horrible.
28:06And then I actually got, like, cockroaches in my ear as well.
28:11And because you strap down, you obviously can't move.
28:13So, I had, like, two cockroaches.
28:15I could feel one.
28:16Like...
28:17Yeah.
28:18Oh, it was horrible.
28:19So, that's, like, the really horrible part of it, is that, I assume, the sort of, the
28:22fact that you can't bat anything away.
28:24Yeah.
28:25Exactly that.
28:26And the thing is, if you've got, like, your head in something, like we're seeing Angry
28:29Ginge, you can just get your head out.
28:30Yeah.
28:31Whereas you're strapped in.
28:32So, even if you say, I'm a celebrity, get me out of here, they're still going to take
28:36a while to get you out.
28:37Yes.
28:38So, it's not a good feeling.
28:39It got stuck, did it?
28:40It went down.
28:41Yeah.
28:42I had, like, two in one ear.
28:43Yeah.
28:44God.
28:45It wasn't nice.
28:46Oh!
28:47Two bugs, one ear.
28:48I think I've seen that video.
28:49The, um...
28:50Sean, what do you think's the worst out of those?
28:51Is it spiders, critters, or snakes?
28:53For me, spiders.
28:55And like Jill said, for some reason, you tell them the truth before you go in.
29:00And I told them it was spiders.
29:02But I was quite lucky that I never managed to do a trial where I was in there with spiders.
29:08I think I would have passed out.
29:10Before I could say, I'm a celebrity, get me out of there, I genuinely think I would have blacked out.
29:14When they said to you, what don't you like, did you say yoga?
29:18Yes, exactly, but the trial I did was yoga in offal.
29:22But yeah, no, I think spiders, like Ginge, I'm the most scared of spiders.
29:26Yeah.
29:27But I think, you know, H will be good in the trial.
29:29And H and Ginge have that thing where they spur each other on by going,
29:33Manchester!
29:34Manchester!
29:35For some reason, it helps them get through the trial.
29:37Doesn't work where I think I was in a trial going, Brighton!
29:40Brighton!
29:41Brighton!
29:42It's not going to work.
29:43So, yeah, seems to work for them.
29:44I think for your interview, when they asked what you were afraid of,
29:46you must have said politicians.
29:48And then they immediately just went, yeah, we'll put him in with that.
29:51Time for another unseen clip now.
29:53It's important in this day and age not to be pervy when our celebs are in the shower.
29:57Thankfully, none of us are in danger of that with this clip.
30:00Take a look.
30:02I'm an animal!
30:03I'm an animal!
30:04I'm an animal!
30:07Whoa!
30:11What's he screaming for?
30:17The water's cold.
30:18It's not that f***ing cold.
30:19No, someone else is there with him, no?
30:22don't know yeah now come on it's I think it's just a war could it get some
30:30that in the thingy it's not that cold yeah but maybe just letting out
30:34frustration yo you good maybe seeing the stuff again
30:50I mean he feels like he's back in those boxes kids these days eh he screams in the shower but he
30:58doesn't scream in the trials yes it's like more afraid of water than he is of anything else he
31:03actually looks like he's wearing this t-shirt in the shower yeah yeah so white bless him I think
31:10he's so so great did it is actually that cold though freezing it is cold I actually am backing
31:16them on this one it is absolutely freezing if you try and wash your hair it's so cold I preferred
31:21to just jump in the pool yeah and get it all over and done with like that instant crash into the cold
31:27water yeah I prefer to just get it done in one yeah you can't kind of heat up yeah in the shower you
31:33feel like you don't clean in that in the pool though you know that doesn't bother me it doesn't
31:37clearly I can smell you from here how do you think you got on in the trial today oh I think
31:43he did well I think he actually did really well um obviously he got he only missed out on two stars
31:49didn't he yeah but yeah I thought he did good especially when was it them little like crocodile
31:54things I was crocodiles mixed with what was it crocodiles and snakes at the end was it yeah spiders and he
32:01he hit spiders that box and had real pleasure in going and spiders in there yeah I think he did
32:08well I think he did really well especially the fact that he said like I'm not gonna do it if
32:11there's spiders in there I'm not gonna do with spiders in there there was spiders in there he
32:14just like you know that's what the public love to see someone really being afraid but but overcoming
32:19their fear and you do overcome your fears I said that I wasn't in a trial with spiders but you don't
32:25have to be in a trial to be faced with the creatures that you're scared of I mean there are spiders
32:29all over the place in there yeah so when you go into the dunny the spiders really make themselves
32:34at home in the dunny so I actually got used to spiders kind of being around when I went back to
32:39the UK I was okay well it does work the spider's just loving the custard creams in the dunny that's
32:43what's happened to your year you need to get the custard creams out of the dunny that was the problem
32:46I just think he was just like he was so composed the entire and entertaining giving it back to
32:53Anna deck which is what we want to see and he's he's already got I think 19 stars for camp already
32:57he's done really well I think this is what makes him one of the favorites to win the show because
33:02you've seen him do a lot of trials he's doing well and he's a good personality as well to have in
33:08I want to see people failing they're doing too well in the trials we need someone in there that's not
33:14going to smash it well this is where H comes in I honestly think I know he's done trials before and
33:19he's done all right but then that eating trial that he had earlier with just like I I think
33:23Ginge is better than than H at the trial so tomorrow I think it's going to be and the fact
33:28he's strapped down like you say you can't get him off your face yeah I think tomorrow is going to be
33:32a really good trial do you think they'll get competitive though like oh Ginge you got this
33:37so I want to get better than you yes I think that might happen yeah yeah I think I'm hoping maybe if
33:43Ruby's in a trial and they put her in a really difficult one I think she's scared of height something
33:48like that then maybe they'll get low stars and then they'll get hangry but then we thought Ruby
33:52was going to be bad at trials and then she went straight into the first eating trial she was so
33:55good at it I think everyone's basically gone like okay we're not voting for her yeah you know it's
33:59sort of struck her off the system a little bit you know what's interesting this year is like
34:03traditionally in I'm a celeb I think when people were doing the trials it kind of meant that the
34:09public had taken against them or the viewers had taken against them but this year it's actually more
34:14a kind of sign of affection and actually we want to see more of them so let's put them in the trial
34:18that's really true that's really interesting what did you think about him coming back and going I got
34:22five stars again more incredible acting from these amazing camp mates and then he said he got 10 stars
34:28at the end it's great I thought he was going to tell them before that moment I thought no way is he
34:32going to keep that going until the read out the score but he did well even was it Martin who said good
34:37acting yeah so he did well it's so good I just wouldn't be able to do that all day leaving it all day
34:43all day the problem with this is they keep on coming back and lying about getting no stars so
34:48at some point they're not going to get any stars they're going to come back and go I've not got
34:52any stars no one's going to believe them the food's going to arrive there's going to be nothing in the
34:56bag I'm going to be very disappointed I just I'm not that good at secrets I can't hold them if anyone
35:01wants to know who's on the next series of Masked Singer just ask mate time now for one last break but
35:07when we return we've got a friend of Eddie's calling in I don't want to spoil who it is so I'll only say his
35:12first name Babatunde see you listen yeah welcome back to impact everybody we have a famous friend of
35:28Eddie's ready and waiting to chat with us he was also in the camp with these two so guys I have one
35:32question for you what day is it Babatunde no it's Sunday but we do have him on the line are you there
35:40Babatunde what's going on my brother yes man so nice to speak to you how do you think Eddie's getting on
35:48Eddie is getting on absolutely fantastic he's totally immersed himself into the whole experience
35:57he's a great addition to the camp I'm just so happy that he's there and everybody can see how
36:03wonderful he is yeah he really is so energetic isn't he I just love his energy that he brings to
36:09every conversation do you know I mean is he like that on the outside world yes unfortunately yes he's
36:17very energetic he loves to you know talk and sing and dance and um yeah he's always he's just full
36:26of energy sometimes he overcompensates for the energy that I lack you know what I mean so he's he is the
36:33life of the party which I am not you know what I mean what do you think he'll be missing most from
36:37the outside world oh I think he's definitely going to be missing his family uh his friends he's really
36:45really close with his friends and most of all he'll be missing taking me shopping um trying to
36:51make me dress up in these Congolese outfits that he's got yes he's definitely missing that 100%
36:58he seems like such a vibe like we've seen him singing dancing like he's absolute joy do you think
37:03there's anything in camp that could potentially like break his spirit a little bit bring him down
37:07no no no at all I've never seen Eddie down never like ever ever I've known him for 20 years which
37:16is crazy right but um I've never ever seen him I've never had a serious conversation with him that's
37:23been like overly emotional or anything like that he's always high spirits he's always lifting people
37:28up and he's always just bringing the life and joy into every room that he steps into and I'm not just
37:34saying that that's who he is and so yeah I'm just glad that everybody can see it yeah if we saw it
37:39last night it was really lovely this like the fact that he was that person to bring Jack back up
37:44it was really nice to see there was it was just great I just really loved the group they're just
37:49a really lovely dynamic aren't they yeah they're a great dynamic it's like there's so much joy in
37:55this group I'm like where's the controversy where's like the person that everybody hates like there's
38:00no Matt Hancock in this we actually haven't seen many bad habits from him yet but can you spill the
38:08beans go on what we're gonna see the only bad habit that Eddie has I think everybody's seen it
38:16is that he talks a lot and he doesn't know when to stop but that is Eddie's gift you know what I
38:23mean and that's what makes him not just a great friend but also a great comedian as well he's just
38:28he's just got loads to say he's got loads of stories and yeah that's yeah that's who he is
38:33right we saw him um we saw him face a water trial by himself which was absolutely great but do you
38:39think there's anything else that he's going to be sort of scared of oh so just like me Eddie is
38:47scared of frogs so listen voters any type of thing creepy crawly frogs any type of trial that comes up
38:55that involves frogs vote for Eddie this is great this is so good to know Babatunde I absolutely love
39:05that start some sort of tick tock sort of thing just get out of there campaign he's gonna hate me
39:11yeah but you're giving us good TV I like this Babatunde obviously you're rooting for Eddie you want
39:17your boy to win who else would you like to see win who else in your final oh you know what I've
39:23taken a liking to H I think H is a great um I was gonna say character but he's a he's personality
39:30amazing I really really like H such a good guy yeah I agree thank you so much Babatunde you've been
39:36absolutely amazing great insights nice to see you man time now for an unseen clip and you're not gonna
39:42believe who's singing again take a look at this it feels good baby girl mmm so good it feels good in the jungle
39:54oh gonna get that love feeling sweet in the jungle gonna get that love I'm feeling good in the jungle
40:02it's good voice man very good boy it's amazing like she's really like got an amazing voice and
40:28she's really she's singing a lot I know we take Mick out of it but it's at least she's got a good
40:32voice yeah yeah imagine if it's someone with a rubbish voice right oh god what are the people at home
40:37saying Kevin oh loads of people gonna get in touch and we love it so thank you so much first up we've
40:42got a voice note from Coco we were just wondering if Ruby Wax became camp leader would she go on a
40:51massive power trip and cause chaos in camp oh if who Lisa do say Lisa no Ruby Ruby Ruby if she became
41:00camp leader would she just I think she would being a bit of havoc actually yeah mix it up should mix it up
41:07yeah wouldn't like care if she annoyed someone do you know yeah yeah yeah it depends who she was with
41:13that's what I'm thinking I was with Lisa I think they'd have a bit of empathy but if she was with
41:19like age age age yeah but I think she it's weird because I think we all thought before she came in
41:25the jungle she was gonna bring that chaos and that madness the level like we sort of know that she's
41:29famous for but she's actually more Zen then then I think we gave her credit for she's meditating all the
41:35time she's quite measured and still funny which is great yeah yes who do you think she would have picked as a
41:40deputy I think she might have gone for Lisa I think because they've actually got a friendship going
41:46haven't there that's true yeah absolutely what else we got Kimmy wow we've got a voice note from
41:50Matilda May I want to know who you think will be the first person to be voted out of I'm a Celebrity
42:0025 camp you know what I can't call this I really can't I think we were speaking earlier and I think
42:07it's so difficult to call between though like who are you like two people you're like oh god no
42:14what no one wants to answer that question you've got it you're on television you're contractually
42:19obligated you're absolutely right Jill no I actually I actually don't know I don't know I really like I
42:33remember when I was looking at kind of the odds when people were going in and Shauna was quite near
42:38the bottom maybe because of EastEnders BBC and stuff like that but I think she's brilliant oh
42:43yeah brilliant I think she should be like kind of definitely it's really it's really tough this year
42:49it's really tough I think it's such a good bunch they clearly all love each other and it's you know
42:55that like uh Bubba today said there's no one in there that anyone hates I don't think I mean I think
43:00there are people that definitely won't be out first I can say that much I really I wouldn't
43:05want to say who I what about you it's a very balanced answer you know what I think you've
43:09been hanging out with politicians too much it's it's I do know what you mean it is a difficult one
43:15but it's it's a hard one my bum is hurting from sitting on the fence you know yeah it's a nice place
43:21to be at the moment I think we've got to maybe get a couple more reps under our belt yeah and maybe we'll
43:25start to see you never know what's going to happen still actually quite a long time before people start
43:28coming out so yeah you know can me anything else oh go on then this is a whatsapp and from govinda
43:34saying loving the look of tomorrow night's nightmare trial did you guys have any weird dreams when you
43:39were good question I don't think I usually dream all the time because I eat a lot of cheese which is
43:46very random but when I was in there on rice and beans I don't think I had a dream no dreams no no
43:53I do I mean I would get woken up by boy George meditating boy George would be doing like these
44:00kind of chants so he was behind me not like that he was on a different bed behind me and he would
44:10be he would wake me up with chance do you remember that didn't really happen was that your dream that
44:15was the dream that was the dream wasn't actually in the camp oh I'm not in culture club I'm not in culture club
44:22what a shame it is a weird thing though people seem to sort of say that they don't dream in there
44:27did you I know I didn't I'd like you sleep so well it's so strange you put your because you're no coffee
44:33and no sugar and stuff oh wow interesting guys thank you so much love that so before you go take it away Shona
