00:43we saw ruby become a langting bitch we saw an oscar worthy performance from martin and jack

00:50and campmates building a shelter from rain that smelled like weed maybe kelly was showering above

00:56them maybe here's what's coming up on today's show sean walsh is back on the sofa to talk about

01:04to thomas friend and celebs go dating co-star paul c brunson back in uk and we'll also be hearing

01:10from vogue's sister amber on the phone but first two men who know every inch of this jungle it's

02:42win some food for the camp and then everybody's on a level playing for that's good it's but i suppose

02:47when you're in there as well and you you're assigning duties and you're kind of giving orders it's good

02:52that you you must want to get involved and get amongst it yeah surely i'm really excited to see

02:57what tom does in a trial you know what i mean will we bring some brilliant words i'm going to have a

03:04dictionary on standby tomorrow or will he completely crack got you assholes

03:11bleed it out go blimey that would be amazing it's so true it would be so good i know a lot of people have

03:20been texting going he's putting that on like how can you put that on yeah that's just him it's one of

03:24those people that when he went oh yeah i can tap dance you're like yeah of course of course yeah

03:33this man's life yeah i love him so much i we are just fascinated by him honestly honestly just watching

04:17well because there was four of them as well yeah coordinated yeah you know it relied on four

04:38had just done the trial you've got all of the stars yeah and you want to come back into aunt who's in the

04:43account we're the camp mates right um can you recreate how you do that go do some you know i'm a

04:48terrible giggler so i'm probably should i go out and come in oh yeah you want to come into the role

04:52yes please you want to do i want to build your part build your part guys i'm sorry listen before i tell you

05:03how many i got oh i've just got to tell you it was pigeons oh no and not just pigeons seagulls oh

05:15they're big so you didn't get any robins you see i'm a giggler what else was there um are you scared of

05:24robins as well they're so small they're so small they're so delicate i know but the australian ones

05:31oh they're vicious oh so how many stars did you get none no no well that's understandable

05:37pretty chirpy yeah honestly for somebody you're giggling like for someone who uh didn't come back

05:43with any stars like the sparrows i have quite chirpy

05:47oh it wasn't pigeons either that was absolutely fantastic a little bit i'm so pleased you asked him

05:59because if you asked me i just wouldn't have done it i really enjoyed that what was your favorite

06:08clip of the day oh by far ginger itch in the pool acting the most laddish we've ever seen them act it

06:16it was so fun it was really good let's take a look let's take a look

06:35and then it gets really cold

06:40as soon as he started throwing the punches we burst out laughing at the viewing like he's fighting the

06:48water i love it they're so brilliant are they so funny and you must have seen at the end of that

06:54chat they ended up talking about shona what's going on with h and shona come on don't know have you got

07:00any unseen footage that we haven't seen don't know this is just a bit today oh this completely came out of the

07:06bluetooth yeah yeah oh my gosh and they're both single huh yeah yeah yeah there they are and there

07:13was sort of there was that little chat about tadpoles anuses which is really so sexy you know i don't

07:19know how the young people flirt these days but apparently it's all new words isn't it it's all new words

07:24that's probably one of them do you want to see a jungle romance yes yes it's been a minute hasn't it oh my god

07:30it's been a while it's been a while since we've had a proper one on this show so we'd love to see

07:35it oh we love it we'd celebrate it that'd be great it'd be great for us in the studio for links

07:44this is the thing i wondered that you obviously it's been shows been going on for ages and it's

07:48absolutely incredible and you guys you're involved in the live trials you're involved in the live links

07:53you're involved in such a massive part of all of this look we do the cooking yeah you do the cooking

07:58you clean the toilet what is your favorite part of doing this whole show uh the live show it's always

08:05the about show you know it's always it's getting in watching the watching the vts and then kind of

08:09helping you know uh create what what happens in only a couple of hours because we haven't seen

08:15we don't know what the show is going to be when you go to bed the next day which is unlike any other

08:18show you we work on you know because you normally have a script and there's rehearsals we've just got to

08:23turn up and see what they've been up to so that's my favorite thing is getting out the car here we

08:27arrive on site about half three in the morning and we get out and like we come into the viewing room

08:31and go what have they been doing yeah yeah and we sit there and watch the show watch what they've been

08:36up to and that's my favorite yeah just seeing something come from nothing and it's built into an

08:41entire show yeah it from an outsider's point of view to watch your show it's just so fun to see it all

08:46come together yeah yeah it's so fun you you touch on your bedtime here which is you know you obviously get up

08:51at 3 30. um this is my weird question of the day oh come on um what time do you go to bed usually

08:56back in the uk um i should go a bit earlier but probably about midnight oh it's quite late it's late

09:03with a baby yeah yeah i know it's a bit too late to be honest with you but i'll get stuck into a box set

09:08and uh you know i like once i start i can't stop at the problem with me it's always been his problem

09:14in these things please i'm not gonna i'm not gonna preempt you what you're gonna say definitely please

09:21say eight time yeah uh yeah it's about nine o'clock yes when we sit on the sofa me and me and ali we

09:26put the kids to bed we'll have something to eat we'll sit on the sofa watch telly and we go we could

09:31be in bed watching this so we just go up to bed watch telly in bed uh watch the news headlines at 10

09:36lights out this is what a very deck thing to do yeah i love what's the news headlines they're like

11:10i'm a celeb that's so true he's doing this show and just go i just want to be in bed

11:21that's so true i didn't even think about it like that and what did you make of today's show great

11:24show very funny ruby at her best i want just ruby to have her own camera on her but we can just

11:31switch like red button it and it's just the ruby camera that's true great show ironically it would be

11:35the red button as well it's a fun joke it's one of the a ones and not a laugh one i enjoyed it what

11:43was your favorite moment for today favorite moment i think i think it has to be them coming in you

11:49mentioned it about the deck it has to be them coming in and pretending that they had failed the

11:53trial which of course everyone normally does everyone comes in i think i've even done it and

11:58yeah were you as good as that i wasn't as good as that i mean leonardo dicaprio is looking at that

12:04going i've lost my oscar do you know what i mean that was unbelievable martin kent was crying it

12:11was unbelievable jack was really angry like i was like this is so dead like does it ever not like

12:17did it annoy you when someone did it to you in the camp yes because you're starving yeah all you want

12:23is food and they come in and they're having a little fun game with you and you just you just want

12:28to eat this isn't the type of game yeah but then what about like you're low low low low low and then

12:32they're like well we've got all the stars is that not like wow well no not there it was fine i think

12:38there it was amazing oh man because we were all full i mean they actually made me doubt whether they

12:44got the stars did they get the stars yes yes same with me angry what a performance unbelievable yeah

12:50loved it so much so today h revealed that he has a soft spot for shona but he's not the only one who

12:56thinks they'd make a good couple let's take a quick look her and h are single now

13:04no look at the two of them they would make a gorgeous they would and they're the same age

13:09and they've both got those bright bright blue eyes yeah and they both love music

13:16oh dude what do you think of that it's very interesting isn't it it is i just want to say i don't

13:19know if that's how connection works if we've got blue eyes that doesn't that's not how we've both

13:26got the same colored hair i don't think that's yeah a connection is it i don't know i don't know how

13:31it works these days i haven't flirted for a long time john i have no idea kemi do you think there's a

13:37jungle romance i'm not sure you know really i you know i know lots of people are getting excited about

13:42it but i just feel like it's two people going like oh i've got a soft spot for her in a friendly way

13:47no okay when i saw it h and jinj that conversation was the most like laddie opening up about feelings

13:53conversation i've ever had because h is throwing something out there like hey i might have a thing

13:58for shona and jinj is like yeah but this is a mate though right yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that's

14:02exactly what i meant like that was him just being like i'm just going to throw out my feelings and

14:05see how it gets received and then jinj is like nah and i don't even get why she gets nervous and it was like

14:09oh i think h is just trying to like just put yourself out there a little bit and jinj is like

14:14i'm having none of that i don't i i don't agree with you at all i think to be on a show this big

14:21and to just put it out there that you have a soft spot for someone that's a huge that's a huge thing

14:26do you think he realizes he's on a show because five days in do you not forget that you're being filmed

14:31you do of course that does happen you know we've seen that with kelly brooke telling people that

14:36she's weeing in the shower i don't think you remember that you're being filmed when you say

14:40that but i just i just think to to put your feelings out there in this situation is is huge

14:46but that's what the jungle does like it intensifies all of the emotions if you think about that moment

14:52that they had earlier on in the episode where they were sat down on a step and they were i think a

14:58normally romantic situation would be like walking along the river making that connection maybe looking

15:03at the sunset they're sat on the step talking about whether or not a tadpole has an arsehole

15:08yeah yeah do you know what i mean that's connecting in the jungle but it's just the word soft spot that's

15:13all it was so like i have a soft spot for you sean i have a soft spot for dogs doesn't we want to have

15:18sex with them it's like a different thing like you want to have sex with them lies lies

15:26that protest too much keep the dogs away from joel everyone keep them away do you think that she's

15:38got a soft spot for him do you think it's reciprocated that i think it might be a little bit too early to

15:42tell i would like to see over the next couple of days the developments okay yeah watch the space i'm

15:47here for it i want it to happen you know if you're not charmed by someone talking about whether or not

15:52how power is an arsehole then there's something wrong with you and i'll i would say this now i

15:57googled it they do so there we go they do don't check my history but i did right i love that we're

16:25with any one of the celebrities which one would you switch with and why well loz i would uh quickly

16:32i was soccer is alex scott she's met maradona like as a childhood boy and as a child uh you know

16:37little boy i wanted to be a footballer like every little boy and the fact that she's you know

16:41played for english she's got a legacy cap a full-blown lioness but she's met diego maradona when she

16:47told me this my mouth dropped and like i'd sometimes i just lean next to her just you know

16:51get hot spotted talent i swear and she's so quiet quiet and i'm like you have done it you've got all

16:59the way to the top by the end that's interesting yeah but but she's also so she's also an awesome

17:02support so maybe let's just pipe it down yeah maybe not something different lily wants to know what's

17:07your favorite thing about the jungle my favorite thing about the jungle lily is that the community

17:12meetings we have we have these conversations in the morning that our good old jack came up with

17:17and it's like basically therapy and therapy is expensive so i'm getting it for free

17:22imagine imagine ruby wax and marty kemp being your therapist like it's literally gold

17:28so good this is a bit of a rogue one and it's from william if you could be one insect what would

17:33it be oh my god guys i'll tell you what you know i came across the other day a dragonfly

17:38yeah it was in blue and i thought this guy's a better dresser than me i was a bit jealous

17:44if i was a dragonfly because i feel like it's the same one but every night it's a different color

17:48and i thought i literally this guy's a high street shopper changing clothes every night listen some

17:54nice blue boots on the other day and i thought this is a bit of me man me being congolese yeah the

17:58dressing dragonfly come on uh josie has asked uh what do you miss most that you didn't expect to i

18:07thought i'll be all right with salt you know i thought i'll be all right especially you know

18:11you go to the doctor and say pipe down on the salt let me tell you something we want we want salty

18:16popcorn last night yeah and i whispered to the chef kelly i said chef kelly don't give out the

18:20salty popcorn just dash it in the food please she's looking at me like i'm mad i said please i'm begging

18:25you dash it in the food yeah salts man i miss it oh there's no seasoning so interesting the

18:31seasoning we're getting is oxygen there's no seasoning i'm seasoning enough babe um page wants to know

18:36what's the scariest thing about literally living in a jungle uh you know what yeah i don't gonna

18:40lie to you the scariest thing is aunt and deck i promise you and when they walk in you're looking

18:47at them like the enemy of progress because we could be having a nice little chinwag having a community

18:52meeting i'm about to finish off my rice and they're coming there's pj and donton coming to ruin our day

18:57once again because you know they're about to i ever send you out there and that moment when they're

19:01looking at going eddie it might be you oh gosh yeah apart from that the old snake that might

19:10scream food no snakes i've seen in the camp yet but oh god fingers crossed you don't uh lincoln says

19:15who's your best friend in camp just give me one name oh jack ah oh jack that's my guy he's been great

19:21from the start uh eddie you have been absolutely amazing thank you so much for being on the show give

21:09much and i think they've been waiting for this moment as well like they've been putting their

21:12little hierarchy thing they've been the chief explorers i think they're like so wanting to just

21:17not be othered you know what i mean they want to get like into camp and it's really nice they're

21:21forming good friendships because we're worried it's going to be a bit frosty yesterday didn't we yes

21:25actually it seems to be going really well yeah i would say as well i do wonder with tom you know

21:31and i love tom but he he loves as you should do loves being the center of attention you know with

21:36the sonnets and then the vocal warm-ups and the shakespeare and he get up he got up and did a dance

21:43and they're all clapping i wonder does vogue sometimes feel a bit maybe left up because you've

21:48gone in there together yes so you're kind of equal and then suddenly he's up there doing his

21:53the problem with tom is you can only you can only do his voice when you're doing an impression of

21:57him but you can't actually do a real impression of him because you don't know the words yourself

22:04so it's absolutely impossible to do an impression it's like a basic version yeah you can

22:11exactly yeah like interesting you say that because you obviously went in with matt hancock yes

22:16you feel overshadowed by him when you went in well when he came in through the bushes i thought

22:22well i'm not doing any trials i'm absolutely i'm absolutely fine i'm off the hook that's true

22:29but you are you are paired up and i just think you know obviously with with hancock he was a

22:33politician and so he wasn't there i mean he did start singing ed sheeran songs at one point but

22:38generally speaking that he wasn't as um should we say as talented multi-talented as tom so i wonder

22:46what that feels like for vogue sometimes does it feel slightly like maybe you're in the background yeah

22:50i don't know about you guys but i was getting the sense that the other camp mates are trying to like

22:54like i don't know like trying to warm them up like try and get the badges like being really like

22:59complimentary and saying lovely things and like welcoming them in just because they want a badge

23:03because they know it means a treat at the end of it did you guys get that vibe yeah maybe maybe sort of

23:09trying to get them on their good side so just sort of get by giving out the badges and stuff a little bit

23:13yes yeah but then it's also interesting that the two that were left out

23:17was uh alex scott and shona so there's always going to be someone left out from that and i

23:22wonder how that makes them feel you know that's a horrible feeling yeah being in there feeling left

23:27out is that's the worst feeling that you can get i think when you're in when you're in the jungle and

23:31they've already just done another trial yes so like if i was them i would feel so angry like even though

23:37i know it's no one's like fault really like they couldn't get taken on the expedition because they'd

23:40just done the trial but now they have to do another trial oh i'd be fuming and also i would say

23:46shona and alex are probably the quietest i'd say in the bunch yeah and um and through no fault of

23:50their own and i think that's probably why they didn't get a badge was just because they're just

23:54quieter people i think that's okay i'm very excited to see tom and vogue do a trial tomorrow i just

24:00think it's going to be such a revelation yes just like i said before to see tom in that situation i'm like

24:06what is he going to be like is he a screamer yeah almost certainly oh my god this perilous situation you put me

24:13in and to death i don't know what to do it's like dixon or is he going to suddenly just go what the

24:19hell are we doing gaza a crocodile i can't handle it it was an act he was putting it on it's so good

24:29i don't think i've been this excited for a trial yeah the whole series i'm like what are they going

24:33to be like it's going to be so fun uh time now for another unseen clip it's been an emotional camp this

24:38year lots of touching moments and even ginger's elbows are touching take a look at this i've got

24:45one for you can you do this oh oh that's good that's very good that's very useful in life

24:55elbows need to be at the top what do you mean elbows well your elbows at the bottom though but they

24:58need to be at the top you need to tuck that in my hands are at the bottom yours are you know yeah that's

25:04freakish no no i can't do that it's freakish i'm obviously all doing that at home night now oh is

25:14that i've never felt so stiff in my life i just need to do some yoga i can't do it guys my lats are too big

25:21i'm actually just too mostly so if the question is uh do you ever get bored when you're in the jungle

25:28there's your answer yes yeah it's so weird this beautiful time so i love this show so much because

25:34the day four day five when it's like they've kind of shared everything that they know about each other

25:40all these deep dark secrets and their past and all the thing and then it gets like can you touch your

25:45elbows it's what did you do when you were there to sort of fill that fun void oh god yes when you've

25:53you've kind of shared everything about yourself like eddie said you've done all the therapy i think

25:58we had jill scott in there obviously and i think she ended up organizing a five-a-side football match

26:05right sounds exciting with an invisible ball oh i was gonna say what did you fashion a ball no no no no

26:11invisible ball it's so great i just i love it and also the other thing that it sort of forces them to

26:16do on this sort of day is people connect that you wouldn't expect so ruby i think she's really

26:21connecting with the younger generation in there which i didn't think was something that we'd see

26:26i just think it's so brilliant i kind of expected it though because i don't think it's anything to do

26:30with age i think ruby wants to be chatting with the people who are the funniest and the most charismatic

26:36like she's a comedian isn't she like she's got comedy chops and h and jinge they're just so funny

26:42as a double act but one-on-one i think she likes that energy she can hit a joke a sarcastic one and it

26:47comes straight back yeah i think it's more the energy almost like like they're the ones that can

26:52take a banter basically yeah i would but yes they're the ones that can sort of give it back yeah yeah

26:57that's really really interesting i like that i like that it's all fun and games at the moment but

27:01do you think people might start to sort of get a bit more competitive as we go forwards sean well

27:07i think even with the you know the badges if you think about the badges and that means breakfast

27:14yeah eddie said it there you want salt i can't this is sometimes the frustration with when you've

27:20been in the jungle is you can't put across to people how much you want salt how much you want

27:27sugar i mean breakfast that means carbs yeah like do you know what i mean you're thinking about carbs when

27:32ann and deck went in the disappointment on alex and shown his face where they weren't getting

27:36breakfast was just like oh it means so much you're so right now love might be in the air between h and

27:43shona it is if only we had a love guru to speak to that is right tom's buddy from celebs go dating

27:49it's paul c brunson everyone paul how are you my friends i tell you it is good to see all of you

27:59i wanted to say i believe in the shona h love connection yes yes of course you do you believe

28:07in everyone don't you paul uh how do you think tom's getting on in there oh my gosh tom is the

28:13best you know i think what we have to all accept is that he is just mesmerizing you can't take your

28:19eyes off of him and what i love about tom and see he's doing this is he makes every room better with

28:26his presence and that's the reason why he's loved so much yeah it's so true everyone's just like

28:31re-brightened up i just i i love him so much i think he's so amazing he's so well put together

28:37do you think like he'll be able to maintain his usual sort of decorum in the in the jungle do you

28:43know what i mean you know what i'm gonna say is that he is the cleanest outfit out of everyone right

28:48now he's the cleanest and i think that's the only place that i worry for tom because he smells immaculate

28:55all the time and i know that by now he can't smell great

29:02i think that's going to be his concern and how he smells but also how that you know how the attire

29:08looks that's my only concern it's not going to stay clean for long like come on he's surely got

29:13like paul give us a tea one gross habit oh just one of them surely he's got one i i tell you he this

29:21is this is the thing about tom is that i have never seen a bad habit but i'll tell you what he

29:26doesn't like at all and i've begun to see it prop up is he doesn't like meanness he doesn't like

29:32people who are unkind he doesn't react well to them and i've begun to see that just a little bit just

29:38a little bit that's interesting well obviously he's going to be facing a trial tomorrow he's getting

29:43fully stuck into the jungle experience are you excited to see that oh yeah because this is

29:50i'm telling you right now there is nothing concrete wilson cannot do this man will go through worms and

29:58snakes and rats and rodents he'll eat anything he'll swim through anything there's nothing this man can't

30:05do oh that's so interesting i really like the fact that you think he's just going to go full on it

30:10because we're we're really sort of speculating how he's going to do you think he's going to do really

30:13well oh absolutely i love it i think the achilles heel and the part that i'm i am concerned about

30:20is that he's very empathetic so the moment that others are going through stress or hurt or sadness

30:28he's going to feel that as well and he'll be impacted by it who do you think he's going to bond

30:32with the most in there then oh my gosh well let me ask you who do you think is the kindest person

30:39at camp right now i'm going to say lisa yeah i think he's the most empathetic all right

30:47there you go it would be lisa then and i've already seen a nice lisa tom bond already yeah

33:33sound so similar to her you really do how do you think she's getting on i think she's getting on

33:39great it was great to see her take on her first challenge that expedition and i thought she was

33:44perfectly suited to it and in terms of the shelter building element of it because she has two degrees

33:50one in construction design and management would you believe and another one in quantity surveying so

33:55that is the kind of information we want from a phone guest i love that what do you think is going

34:01to make her an amazing camp mate i think vogue is very resourceful and she's a doer she'll get

34:08involved and and she won't stand on the sidelines i'd say she's very motivational as well so yeah i'd

34:15say she'll get stuck in and she definitely won't be standing on the sidelines for sure yeah what did

34:20you make of the campmates reaction to her and tom's late arrival oh i didn't really like that now

34:27obviously my protective instinct kind of kicked in but i i do feel you know obviously they're kind of

34:34that's done for a reason and you know you're going to be if you've already put in this log and been in

34:38there from the beginning you're going to be a bit kind of territorial but i have no doubt she'll turn

34:42that around and um she'll end up being best pals with most of them in in no time i feel like we're

34:47seeing that already which is so lovely obviously you've known vogue all of her life what was she like

34:52growing up oh we were best we were best we are best friends uh she was great crack we always have

35:00gotten along very very well we just have all the crack all the time and she mad for dollies and stuff

35:07like that growing up uh mad for dressing up was there any like annoying habits or anything

35:16oh not really any i'd say at the moment like with who she is at the moment i wouldn't say her habits

35:22are annoying she does love now i do love to talk about sleep as well so i'd say you'll see her

35:26talking about sleep on the show um i wouldn't say she has any gross habits she does have a a terrible

35:32inability to do nothing always has to be busy but that i think will stand to her in the jungle

35:37so i'm excited to see that uh yeah what else do you think she'll find difficult about jungle life

35:43i feel like naturally she's gonna miss the kids she'll mix miss benny i hope she's missing me we

35:48usually have a daily phone call at about 7am so i went to call her today and obviously realized no

35:54that's not possible so um i think it's and she'll love it she likes to eat so she'll miss

36:00she'll miss her three square round meals every day it's true i mean i know spencer and uh i think

36:06she'll miss the kids but i don't think she'll miss him controversial she's getting on so well with tom

36:15which i really love but is there anyone else that you see in there that sort of she'll get on well

36:20with well three the three she did the expedition task with so ruby h and ginge i feel her kind of

36:28i don't know kind of being drawn to them i also feel like she'll get up i think she'll get on with

36:32everyone i don't see her not getting on with anyone but she did she was going to always make

36:37a beeline for ruby wax she wants to be best pals at ruby so

36:39oh i love that so you don't think there's anyone that can maybe like ruffle her feathers

36:44like a little bit oh yeah no i think if anyone does kind of we'd be she wouldn't be confrontational

36:51but she would make her feelings now and i think she'd be very um fair in the way that she would

36:55address things if someone kind of got under her skin let's say yeah but i don't imagine that's

37:00going to happen she's not afraid to be strong yeah like about folk what luxury do you think she'll

37:05miss the most now she's in camp question fake tan obviously i completely agree but she looks

37:16amazingly tanned already you've got the real sun in order to uh to replace that so thank you so much

38:16okay it's called tents of torment which sounds horrific and it is so half of them are going to be

38:20strapped in tents with snakes and then the others have to find the keys but they're going to be in

38:26offal and fish oh no so it's kind of horrendous no matter where you are right it means you have to

38:31rely on the other two to do something right and if they're not finding it and you're literally in

38:35there and snakes are slithering all over you're going to get really frustrated yes you are i remember

38:40that that's the yeah that's all coming back to you now yes yeah when you're relying on the other

38:43the other part of the team that's to do the work for you and they're not doing it it's very very

38:48frustrating yes that is frustrating i like that i like that so i'm gonna give again i'm so excited to see

38:53vogue and tom in that scenario i think it's gonna be great uh it's gonna be intense am i no i'm not

40:13so even there's something you don't think about everyone is bonded by the fact that they you know

40:17they live in the uk they know they kind of know everyone and they recognize everyone and he

40:23doesn't have that so it's going to take him a little bit longer than everyone else and now you're just
