03:17And the house won't burn down because it'll have a new electrical panel.

03:21My first task has been to help with the guys who build the cool tree stands to help build a nice, you know, shooting range to help build these frames and get these metal gongs hung up.

03:42So, Waddy, how did, oh, how convinced you to come over here?

03:48Well, because he realized Bill Jordan didn't know anything about this cool thing.

03:51Oh, yeah.

03:51That's true.

03:52And that was all he had left.

03:54So, he was desperate.

03:56This is right in my neck of the woods.

03:58So, just a short drive over from Georgia to come over here and hopefully be able to help out a little bit, you know.

04:04And everybody, you can tell that have these camps like this.

04:06They got full-time jobs.

04:07So, when are you going to have a chance to put together the team to come out and do this stuff so they get it done and they can quickly start enjoying it?

04:14Right.

04:14And even meeting a family, you can tell, man, what some great people.

04:18Just good folks, bro.

04:20This was our touchstone.

04:22Our whole family's been in a state of flux since Daddy passed away.

04:25And Mama keeps saying, I want the land to be something that can benefit you all, that you can all have fun and be together.

04:32It's just a great, great place to gather.

04:35My boys and everybody, I think, loves to hunt, but they really love to talk about it more than the actual hunt.

04:41And then the fun talking about what happened.

04:43That's what a camp is all about, getting together, fellowshipping, eating the course, and then getting excited about the hunt.

04:52It's going to be wonderful to have a place where we can all be comfortable.

04:57My children don't live real close in the area.

05:00I think it's going to be wonderful to have a place where they can come and be able to stay for several days and, you know, make it worth their trip to come here.

05:40We got a laundry room set up going on over here, and we got your traditional renovation hunter set up over here for power tools, streamlight charging, whatever they want to do, man.

05:56I'm going to go back inside where the AC is working.

06:01I think the family will really enjoy having the utility of it all.

06:16My buddy, Benny Bostic, turned me on to a lady called Angie Cole.

06:21She's a world-renowned painter.

06:22One of her paintings was just on display in Times Square.

06:27In the same spirit that all these people around here have deep in their souls, she offers to do a painting for this build, and I was, like, blown away.

06:37I'm really excited about being a part of the family's future.

06:41For myself, we try and get our children outside and spend a lot of time, and amazingly, three hours will go by, and it seems like 30 minutes, and we have all those memories.

06:51So I'm glad they're getting those.

06:54She actually took dirt from the creek banks and grass from the creek banks and actually blended it in with the paint and the trees.

07:02I'm adding a little bit of texture here by using some of the brush from the area, and I'm mixing it with a drill medium and some paint.

07:15Look who it is.

07:16This has got to be Miss Angie Cole.

07:19Hi.

07:19Oh, what do we got?

07:21This is absolutely amazing.

07:30This is one of the favorite places that this family shares with the kids.

07:34They actually go down there, they fish off the bridge, and then they do a shore lunch.

07:38They cook right there on the bridge, and the kids eat fish straight out of the creek and river, and they've told me a hundred times it's one of the kids' most favorite thing to do.

07:47And you captured it, and you captured it amazingly.

07:51So, Kev, what do you say?

07:52Let's find a place to put this.

07:54I really enjoyed getting to meet the cast and crew.

07:56Everybody has been great.

07:58It's been a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see the looks on the faces of the family when they first see the painting.

12:37for a minute I was like stalled I was like oh they don't like it but

12:51it was obviously shock look how bright this is your house look at the floor first of all

12:58they couldn't take in all the changes several of them said I'm lost I don't even feel like I'm in

13:07the same place you've got a completely working functional fireplace that was totally destroyed

13:15there's your picture fishing up there watch our turnaround Angie Cole painted a picture of the

13:24bread that's awesome that's amazing is it not one of the most exciting things was seeing my mother

13:35so excited about her home place being renovated and so many of her special little mementos that

13:42work incorporated so well into the design mama this is the thing that papa made for you papa spears made

13:50this for mama we thought that this room would be super sentimental to you it is and all this stuff

13:57come out of your attic there's a book in there from 1914 yeah and then look here for the guys we've

14:03got a shed shelf with all the sheds that we got from your family so now the girls are going to be

14:20all up in this place you think it's an upgrade we went and stole it from the Waldorf

14:32look and a shower a real shower that was awesome oh my gosh I love it

14:36oh my lord

14:50what do you think of that come on in here dang we have that 1945 bedstick

14:58what do you think of that oh I think we're gonna fist fight how y'all like that air

15:03conditioning that's awesome oh my gosh yeah oh my gosh look at this wow look how clean the windows are

15:09wow y'all like that picture yeah that's awesome Courtney spent many hours trying to figure out

15:16what to put in here look at here so crazy beautiful and it and it complements the two rooms

15:26oh my god this may be my room

15:32using the things that were already there I mean who would have thought that that wood

15:37paneling would be so pretty painted everything just came together and we're just so surprised

15:42and just so so thankful so grateful

15:44this was my wife's favorite room oh that's cool wow oh my gosh

15:52oh my gosh i called this one

15:58it's just oh both they are going to die oh and look at

16:09anything i thought about that's not what happened but it's it's so great it's it's amazing is what

16:23it is how do you like your new stove your new oven your new seat a coffee nut a coffee bar how do you

16:31like that oh we got a coffee maker that works yeah and our friends at baird brothers fine hardwood made

16:37y'all some great cutting boards this team comes from your barn out back i want you to take a look

16:42back here oh my gosh this was built on site out of red oak we got all from baird brothers and made

16:51you guys a gun cabinet so when you walk in from outside you put your gun up you put your boots up

16:58you got nuts underneath and i i really want you guys to see this because i know this picture

17:05the kitchen is everything is just so much more functional everything seems so much bigger

17:12just so much more usable i feel like we're just going to really enjoy it so much more

17:17and this is your crew oh my god oh my god oh my god

17:24unbelievable this is a handmade table and every one of these chairs were handmade by forever barnwood

17:37awesome i can foresee thanksgiving meals there christmas meals i've already uh visualized how

17:44we're going to set the table and how we're going to decorate and then also a hue tv for sec football

17:49so you can't hardly beat that so here's your new utility room our wall control friends put all the

17:58organization you want here and it's on this wall too now you know where your tools are yeah here you

18:06got a brand new hot water heater and our friends at gray bar supplied you with a brand new electrical

18:11panel we got breakers we got breakers break bar hooked you up and then we got the epoxy floor

18:19yes from stone coat yeah this floor is going to make life a lot easier absolutely let's go outside

18:25oh my god

18:29our friends at m&m barbecue brought you guys the most amazing smoking grill it's the first one of its kind

18:38it is brand new and they actually put some food on it too y'all

18:41you think you can use that i think i can use that that's a well-built grill that grill will be here

18:51for a hundred and a hundred more years from now but we're not done yet there's more your own

18:59hand-built custom shooting bench right here and look out through there every 50 yards out to 300

19:07yards you've got a big target that will go dong when you hit it and that was brought by our friends

19:16at on the spot outdoors hello guys hello you said you wanted a blind right yeah okay that's what we do

19:23we got you a blind

19:24we really concentrated on the kids we got a lot of different things to get them set up to get them

19:38training on shooting there's a little bit of everything for you guys thank you so much

19:43and rob at ginger woodworks helped design build everything on the workbench but this is a little

19:51booster seat for the kids because they're going to be a little short yeah perfect oh i could just

19:56see bow on there

19:56i just want to thank renovation hunters for sure it's amazing my expectations were high and it just

20:13went even i mean it's just absolutely amazing what they've done

20:17they gave us stuff from not only a habitat planting of green patches deer stand advice making a whole

20:24outline what we need to do from inside the house to outside cooking it is unreal i really cannot find the

20:31words to tell y'all how much i appreciate this in eight days i don't know how you would be so

20:37physically and mentally tired to accomplish something a feat that they just accomplished there is no way

20:43that i or anybody in my family can express our appreciation for what y'all have done enough

20:48we are going to utilize this so much more and not just us but our friends in the community

20:55i'm astounded it has just gone over any expectations that i had i can't even think about what my favorite part is i love it all
