00:01Thank you, Pastor David. Thank you, Children's Praise and Worship Team. Thank you. Wait,
00:05one of the children stepped down. Oh, wait, that's the number. Sorry. She happened to
00:12be in the children's section of the praise team. Sorry, that's a joke, of course. How's
00:19everyone doing today? Great. Okay. Is everyone off of school already? That's something to
00:26be very thankful for, isn't it? Now, we're going to go to a verse momentarily, but I want
00:32you to first say thank you to Itaver and Ita Lita. Why? Because they have something for
00:40you in this year. I'm not going to show you just yet. But I want you to look over that
00:45way and say thank you to Itaver and Ita Lita. Hold on, hold on. No, I promise you, you will
00:55be really thankful. I need you to really shout it out and tell them, thank you, Ita
00:59Bear and Ita Lita. Go!
01:01Thank you, Itaver and Ita Lita.
01:04A little bit better, a little bit better. All right. Well, I want to tell you guys a quick
01:08story before I go to your giveaways here. There's a story in the Bible, the Gospels,
01:15of Jesus. And he healed his ten lepers. Say leper.
01:20Leper.
01:20Those are animals, not leopards, but lepers. They had a skin condition. It was a serious
01:26thing. Ten of them went to Jesus, and they were all healed by Jesus in a snap. But guess,
01:34I think you may know the answer to this already, but guess how many of the ten actually went
01:39back to Jesus and said thank you to Jesus? You all know the story. Only one. Ten percent
01:46of them went to Him. And that's a sad reality, isn't it? That ten people were healed of a
01:52potentially life-threatening and a debilitating disease that they had for many, many years
01:57of their life up to that point in time. But the most important thing is that the one who
02:02did go back and thank Jesus is definitely someone that we should emulate and imitate.
02:07We don't want to make you look at the verse. This is the verse that I know we say around this
02:12time of year. Let's all say it together. Congregation and children, once on the count of three.
02:18One, two, three.
02:19In everything, give thanks. For this is God's word for you. In Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians
02:275.18. So in everything and whatever we go through in life, right? You all just sang a song.
02:34All my life you have been faithful. All my life you have been so, so good. That's the song
02:38that we sing out to God. And in thanksgiving for Him. Not just during this week of thanksgiving,
02:44but every day of our lives. In everything, give thanks. For this is God's word for you.
02:48In Christ Jesus. And with that, I'm going to give you your goodies. One bag each, please.
02:54Go for it. Wow. Woo. All right. I know those of you that are downstairs are jealous.
03:02Yes. And you know what? There's enough in here. Why don't we go back the other way? You
03:14want it? You want to? Only if you want to. Yes? Only if Dad and Mom will have it. Maybe
03:22not you, but that's okay. You can for now. All right. We'll take the time to do this and we
03:28will leave this over here off to the side. Let me get the grace or somebody else here.
03:34Thank you. Now, before you go off to your Sunday schools, let's say our verse once again.
03:38Together. In everything, give thanks. For this is God's will for you. In Christ Jesus.
03:45Verse 518. Let's bow our heads, fold our hands, and close our eyes. And together, let's pray.
03:52Father God, thank you for your goodness, your love, your grace, your mercy, your salvation,
04:05freely given to all who believe in Jesus, your only Son, who came to set us free. Help me by
04:17by your Spirit. Always be thankful. Always be thankful. In everything. In Christ Jesus' name
04:25we pray. Amen. Amen. Let's give Him a hand.
