With improved safety features in modern cars, would you support or be against calls to increase the motorway speed limit to eighty miles an hour, and what makes you feel that way?

00:00If people in cars are going to go up to 80 miles an hour, there's going to be too many crashes, and it's not logical.
00:08A bit of a difficult one. I don't drive anymore. I would be terrified to be driving at such a speed limit, if that's the limit.
00:20No, I think that needs a bit of reflection.
00:23Germany is doing it for ages. Why can't we?
00:28It's not too high. I've done a lot of driving on the motorway recently as well, and traffic has gotten pretty bad.
00:36So I think by increasing the speed limit with the three lanes, it just allows traffic to run a lot smoother and maybe reduce the amount of times we need to close down a lane.
00:46Because a lot of time when stuff happens on the motorway, it's usually just people going too slow and then someone going too fast.
00:54Keep close eye towards the areas which are high risk. Why not?
