Police and Crime Commissioners are set to be scrapped as concerns grow about rising crime and safety across England and Wales. Do you feel safe on the streets where you live, and what would make you feel safer?

00:00I'm quite happy that they are scrapping the crime and safety commissioners because I don't think they're all that effective from what I've seen.
00:10I mean in Hare Hills area there's a lot of crime like theft and stuff like that so I think that they should have more police surrounding the Hare Hills Road area and like Leeds 9 area more than town centre because town centre is more better you see.
00:24It's a lot of European cities if you would know when the days start getting shorter they do have police at every street every corner you turn you can see someone that's really reassuring that would be a good step to aim towards.
00:40I feel pretty safe on the streets I know a few friends that like don't though but me personally I feel fine I feel confident going out but a few of my other friends when it gets pretty low
00:54late they prefer to go in groups because scab are going to get mugged.
