Leeds locals reflect on roads

Which roads or motorways do you find most frustrating to drive on, and why? Do you agree with the M42 and M62 being rated the worst in a recent survey?

00:00The only congested road I can think of used to be, not nowadays, Kirtzville Road.

00:05And until about, what, 10 years ago or so, it was a nightmare going up and down it.

00:12There was a lot of roadworks going on for a long time.

00:14My car is in the garage because of the road. We have too many patrols in Leeds

00:20and too many roadblocks, so it makes us difficult to come to town, even to go to work.

00:26We have to go round and round and round. By the time we arrive in the office, we are late.

00:31Skinner Lane and Regent Street in Leeds here, the roadblocks, it has taken nearly a month.

00:40There's still a lot of work to do on some roads that are very much in need of repair.

00:45They don't just go out there and start digging the roads for the sake of it.

00:49I know it's inconvenienced people, but it's for the good,

00:53eventually, that it will improve. I think they're a lot better than what they were.
