00:00Police are appealing for information after a teenager was injured by a car in a failed stop
00:06incident in Leeds. The roads policing unit would like to speak to anyone who saw or has footage
00:12of the incident which took place on Accommodation Road on Friday the 12th of June. It took place
00:17between 10pm and 11.30pm when a 17 year old boy was struck from behind by a car. The vehicle
00:24involved is described as a silver or grey saloon type car which made off towards Beckett Street.
00:30The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
00:35Anyone who saw or has footage of the incident is being asked to contact
00:40101 or Crimestoppers anonymously.
