00:00how much did detroit music play into your psyche as a kid i mean we had you know guys like nugent
00:10and seager and alice cooper and i mean the list goes on and on kid rock eminem just just non-stop
00:15so so seager i mean basically everybody you just mentioned you know had some kind of an impact on
00:22us um that a big one for me man was probably the the the seager stuff just dude his vocals are like
00:29it's butter you know it's like butter on warm toast man it's just he's got that voice uh he was a big
00:36influence for me as a singer you know is that i got a fairly raspy voice i'm no bob secret but i you
00:42know i gravitated toward guys like that once i realized that's kind of i had more of a gravelly
00:49kind of sound in my voice i listened to dudes like that uh obviously ted nudist guitar playing is just
00:55next level you know and the songs are insane um and then alice cooper is probably
01:04one of the finest gentlemen walking to the earth that i've ever had the pleasure of being in the
01:10same room with we toured with him um in europe it was just us and alice and his band you know and
01:18the the kindness and respect that a legend treated us with this was 2018 19 somewhere around there
01:26um yeah and we were talking to alice over dinner one night and we're talking man it's just you know
01:35so awesome you're still out here doing this you know and a lot of guys you know wouldn't be he said
