00:00Hey, it's Jeff Kirkshin at the 2025 CMAs with Ella Langley.

00:07Hi, how are you?

00:08I have one big question.

00:10That's all I get with our artists.

00:11I try to keep it short, simple, and get you moving.

00:13All right.

00:13One big question.

00:14Two sold-out nights at the Ryman.

00:16First of all, congratulations.

00:18That's awesome.

00:19I saw the video of you going eye to eye with Gretchen Wilson.

00:23Yeah.

00:24And you were standing so strong, but inside were you like,

00:28I can't believe I'm doing this right now?

00:30Oh, yeah.

00:30Freaking out?

00:31There was a 12-year-old girl in there going,

00:33what is happening right now?

00:35But she is so cool, and I kind of just took it as a moment,

00:38like chills all over my body, like, man, this is,

00:41I've watched these women go up and just be a powerhouse

00:44throughout country music, and to be able to learn

00:46and get on stage like that, you kind of like forget

00:49you're putting on a show for a second.

00:50And me and my band talked a lot about that.

00:52We just were in the moment, and that was one of the moments

00:55I will never forget.

00:56We do this thing called a drinking horn,

00:58and she took a sip out of it, and we've all taken sips out of it.

01:02That's what we take a shot out of on stage, and she actually did it.

01:04No way.

01:05It was badass.

01:06It was awesome.

01:06Were you the one who made the ask about the drinking horn?

01:09Yeah.

01:09They were like, you've got to do it, Ella.

01:11You've got to ask.

01:11Yeah, well, I've been trying to get it out of my set,

01:14because, I don't know, it's kind of, it's the whole thing,

01:16and the guys, my band, loves it.

01:17So, anyways, but, yeah, she said she would.

01:21Jack Daniel's in there.

01:22She's a Jack lady.

01:23I love that.
