00:10And as the Sixers welcome the Raptors back to South Philly for the second time in 11 days.
00:16Quinton Grimes very good in that first meeting 11 days ago.
00:19And he was great against the Clippers here on Monday night.
00:21He had 9 of his 19 in the fourth quarter.
00:23And maybe more importantly, he absolutely shut down James Harden in the second half of that Sixers win.
00:30For NNA Room and the Raptors, meanwhile, they have been on a hot streak since that loss here in South Philly a week ago Saturday.
00:36They've won four in a row.
00:37They've won eight of nine.
00:39And B.I. is a big reason why.
00:42Should be another dogfight here tonight.
00:43The second of four between two of the top five teams right now in the Eastern Conference.
00:47Let's get into Sixers-Rafters on a Wednesday night.

00:54And Allah, second meeting between these two in 11 days.
00:57But first, let's talk about Monday's win over the Clippers.
01:00Once again, the Sixers led by Tyrese Maxey.
01:02Yeah, the lead dog was incredible, right?
01:04He was active.
01:05He got big buckets.
01:06He was huge down the stretch and a good win.
01:08And let's focus on some of his highlights from Monday night.
01:10In case you missed it, our Wapner-Newman backcourt coverage featuring Mr. Tyrese Maxey.
01:15Take a look at him in action, right?
01:16We mentioned the activity, how difficult he is to cover for a defender when you're constantly
01:21on the move.
01:21You don't know where he is.
01:23Chris Dunn was a great example of that, chasing him all over the floor.
01:26He got some opportunities to get to the basket.
01:28During the half-court set, he also knocked down some threes.
01:32Again, he was active.
01:33He got other people involved as well.
01:35But when it was time to make big shots, no one made bigger shots than him.
01:38It wasn't just him, though.

01:48off the bench a huge scoring punch.

01:51I thought down the stretch of that Clips game, his defense was the key to that win, locking
01:56down James Harden.
01:57And this is one of the reasons the Sixers 8-5 on the season, Tyrese.
02:01Seconds in the NBA in points per game.
02:04But Quinton, one of the best off the bench right now.
02:05Well, look at the numbers, too, and he's going to give you assists.
02:07These are all in limited minutes compared to Tyrese, but the numbers are impressive nonetheless.
02:11Okay, while we were rallying past the Clippers on Monday, I'll have Brandon Ingram and Toronto
02:16holding off the Hornets in a thriller of their own.
02:18Yeah, big smooth.
02:19He has the ability to take over games in the half-court set.
02:22At times, he does not look like he's even trying that hard because he is so methodical,
02:27but deliberate with his movement.
02:28He's got great length, nice touch, and in a half-court set, a mid-range game, he has the
02:33ability to take over and do stuff like that, too.
02:35He can do that, too.
02:36A little poster on a Monday night.
02:38Well, Ingram, Max, and Grimes all good in the first meeting here 11 days ago, Allah.
02:42But it was Trenjan Watford's first career triple doubles that proved the difference.

03:07Got an update on Kelly Oubre Jr., who hyperextended that left knee in the second quarter Friday
03:12night at Detroit, while an MRI revealed that, indeed, it is a sprain of the LCL.
03:17So out tonight and out for the next couple of weeks, Kelly will be re-evaluated at that
03:23point.
03:23So let's take a look at our starters tonight.
03:25No Kelly, obviously, Tyrese Matsey, Justin Edwards into the starting lineup.
03:30BJ Edgecombe, Dominic Barlow, and Andre Drummond.
03:33Paul George unavailable tonight after making his season debut on Monday.
03:37For the Raptors, one guy who we didn't see 11 days ago because the Raptors were on the
03:41second half of a back-to-back, Jakob Pertl.
03:44In there with, quickly, Ingram, Barrett, and Scotty Barnes.
03:47And as we talked about in our open just a couple minutes ago, Allah, these Raptors are
03:52red hot.
03:52Winners of eight of nine, four in a row.
03:55Their only loss in that stretch coming to Tyrese Matsey and the Sixers here in South
03:59Philly.
04:00Excuse me.
04:01They're opportunistic runners, too.
04:02We'll talk about it some more.
04:04So let's take a look at our key, what to watch keys to tonight's game.
04:08Well, the first thing you've got to do against a team that leads the league in fast break
04:11points is you're going to have to get back on defense.
04:13You're going to have to talk, communicate, and locate guys wherever they may be on the
04:18floor.
04:19And one of the things that helped you in the last outing was owning the boards.
04:23There's no Jakob Pertl in that last matchup.
04:25It was a little easier to toe.
04:27But now he's in the lineup and you still have to dominate the glass to come away with the
04:31W.
04:31Yeah, that's going to be huge.
04:33Sixers were able to do that in the first meeting here 11 days ago.
04:36So 15 offensive rebounds led to 22 second chance points.
04:41And that was such a huge point of emphasis that Darko Ryankovic, the Raptors coach, mentioned
04:45it in his pregame here tonight.
04:47So underway in South Philly.
04:49Round two of four between the Sixers and Raptors this season.
04:53And Andre Drummond wins the 10.
04:54Both teams played on Monday nights.
04:59Both teams with 110-108 victories.
05:03How about that?
05:04Sixers beating the Clippers here.
05:05And the Raptors beating the Charlotte Hornets up in Toronto.
05:10This is RJ Barrett who gets absolutely rejected by Dominic Barlow.

05:17And the overlooked part of that is Vijay defending him.
05:20He doesn't foul him.
05:21So that allows Dominic to come over and get all balls spiked.
05:27That's the Sixers serve now after that one as Jakob Pertl puts it up and in.

09:53but they will run when given the opportunity.
09:56So the 76ers, that's why we talked about getting back on D a priority.
