00:27:05Who they expect to be a big part of this lineup out with the hand strength strength came back played that game against the clippers?

00:51:57brought to your team yeah i mean you see it throughout his career everywhere he's went you
00:52:02know he he's helped the team develop identity um which is super important which is something that
00:52:08you know you can hang your hat on you know throughout a course of 82 game season so you know every night
00:52:14you know there might be some type of scuffle some type of altercation but but you know you know that
00:52:20brings a team together or it can separate a team and you know you get to see that in those moments
00:52:25in our team you know we stick together as one um and it's been successful for us this far book mellow
00:52:30here it's a it's a it's a whole new vibe out there in in phoenix i know you guys feel rejuvenated
00:52:37uh you you feel like you got something to prove but for you over the past i would say 24 months
00:52:42it's just been a different deep book uh dating back to the olympics out there in paris where's your
00:52:48mindset at and uh when do you decide to take on the owners of hey this is my organization this was
00:52:55this is how i'm going to lead and i'm going to bring these guys along with me what was the mindset
00:52:59behind that yeah that's the phase i'm in right now and like you said these past 24 months haven't
00:53:05haven't went the way that i wanted um especially after having some finals experience and getting that
00:53:10close you know everything from here you know i'm trying to get back there so you know i try to give my
00:53:15two cents day in and day out uh what it's going to take um and everybody in this team uh everybody
00:53:21on this team we got the same mindset we're trying to win at all costs and whatever it takes so you
00:53:26know it's fun to be around absolutely d book i got to see you macau spoke to you real quick and one
00:53:31of the things i said that you the vet now you're the old guy around the locker room but like how do
00:53:35you because of your championship you know finals experience how do you spread your wisdom amongst
00:53:42the locker room to the guys like you know you have jalen green now who still haven't played with you
00:53:46guys yet you know as far as just you're making your run how do you spread your wisdom to everyone out
00:53:51there and still trying to accomplish the things that you want to accomplish uh yeah i mean i feel like
00:53:56there's different forms of leadership you know some days it's more vocal some days is you know setting
00:54:01the tone by action so you know i've learned over my 11 years you know everybody responds differently to
00:54:07to different type of leadership so you know i try to be a professional every day i try to you know
00:54:12give it my all every day you know it's not a make or miss thing it's a it's an energy about it um and
00:54:18you know we have a lot of like-minded individuals over here and like i said you know we've won some
00:54:23games we've lost some games regardless the next day you know in the practice facility we're there to
00:54:28get better so you know that's important we appreciate your leadership we appreciate your time and
00:54:33we appreciate you keeping the mid-range alive yeah he's dope that makes mellow really excited

00:57:04of someone to one first of all he's the nba scoring leader but two to last 23 seasons in this league
00:57:10still be smiling still be having fun still be rolling with the lakers like what is required of
00:57:14someone to be able to do this the willingness to do whatever it takes to to be on the floor
00:57:20each and every night like it's it's it's steps to this and you know it you you can't skip steps
00:57:28i mean you can but you won't be playing for long yeah he doesn't skip steps and he takes care of his
00:57:33body he knows his body obviously you know we're like when is he going to come back well he knows when he's
00:57:37going to come back and when he does he's going to hit the ground running playing 30 minutes getting
00:57:40a double double uh but like for me when i played i was like that was one thing like if i'm willing to
00:57:45if i had a list of 10 to 12 things i have to be willing to do that to make sure i play i'm sure
00:57:50he's the same thing and you know he's going to keep going i mean i'm sure he could play 24 25 seasons
00:57:55because he he has that's crazy which is crazy but he understands what it takes to be out there
00:58:01yeah and his willingness to do it i think will be the question for him moving forward i mean you you
00:58:07you hit the nail right on the head you know he he understands his body he understands at this point
00:58:11at this point in his career is psychological is it's all about the mental aspect of the game
00:58:17i think i've read something i heard him say you know i got to get my mental right as well as my
00:58:21physical right when you talking like that and going into year 23 you had a different mindset a
00:58:26different level uh of approach so he's been doing this for 23 years man this is like you know we we
00:58:32laugh and joke about that but this this level of longevity we haven't we haven't seen it like
00:58:37like that at this level of basketball the way he's playing mel he was second team all nba last
00:58:43year yeah year 22 yeah it's incredible man so we you know we can sit here and we can
00:58:50talk about and laugh about it but in all honesty man it's it's a testament to lebron and what he's
00:58:55been doing over these past couple years his dedication to the game uh and in all aspects of
00:59:01the game is is is the reason why he's in year 23. you had it too vince you was year 22 but yeah
00:59:07he took it and he took it the first time just in short man i i'm just gonna appreciate you know what
00:59:13we have left lebron because this is this is really remarkable it is to be playing at this level you
00:59:21know and it's not just the 23 years it's the production mileage yeah that this guy this guy's been
00:59:27playing in in june for quite some time and he's playing in olympics to come back and be in this
00:59:33type of shape year in a year out i was mentally fatigued in year 10. you're mentally fatigued now
