00:43against the New Orleans Pelicans.
00:46Hi everybody, welcome Chris Marlowe, Scott Hastings, Vic Lombardi on board here too.
00:52The last time these two teams got together, the Nuggets crushed the Pelicans by 34, hoping
00:57to do that again tonight.
00:59How important is this game?
01:00I think it's big, because you're playing somebody you should be.
01:03You've got a big matchup, a tough, I think, back-to-back on Friday, Saturday.
01:08This team has been playing Portland, they've already fired a coach, there's struggles, but
01:12those are always the teams and games that scare the heck out of me.
01:16Nikola Jokic is enjoying a November to remember, averaging almost a 35-point triple-double.
01:22Well, he's already been made the player of the week in the NBA twice.
01:26He's on his way, I think, probably getting the first player of the year for the month.
01:31This is not as efficient against the Chicago Bulls the other night.
01:35And yet you look up and it's 36-18 and 13.
01:39And you just can't, you can't beat that.
01:42You know, you lose the game on the last second three, so he's playing phenomenal.
01:46I think he'll have to play really good tonight also.
01:49Meanwhile, Cam Johnson had his best game as a Denver Nuggets, 19 points.
01:54More importantly, he made five of seven threes.
01:56Yeah, and I think he's a guy that's really put a lot of pressure on himself coming in
01:59here to try to be on this team, fill a certain role of making shots.
02:03And when he doesn't see a shot go in early, I think it's affecting him.
02:06He saw shots go in early the other night.
02:08In fact, he scored the first basket of the game against the Bulls.
02:12If he could continue to roll like that, watch out for the Nuggets.

04:07And I know he is very adamant he wants to make an all-star team.

04:13And he's just very aggressive, understands exactly what's happening.

04:24And that he is starting to get into this place where everything is coming together at the same time.

05:42Jeremiah Fears, Herbert Jones, Derrick Queen, and Trey Murphy III.
05:50So Zeke Nagy, who had four starts a season ago, his first was also against New Orleans,
05:58had 12 points, five rebounds.
06:00What an opportunity for Zeke Nagy here, Scott.
06:03Yeah, great opportunity.
06:04They'll probably switch a lot with Watson and Johnson and himself on that front line.
06:11So there'll probably be a lot of movement, but one thing he's got to remember when he's on

06:23Derrick Queen, the youngster, is going to jump against a man he admires a lot, Nikola Jokic.
