Brooks & Dunn caught up with Rania Aniftos on the Winners Walk at the CMA Awards 2025.

00:03They just won Vocal Duel of the Year, their 20th CMA win overall, 16th in this category.

00:10So now they hold the most CMA wins of all times.

00:13Does it ever get boring to win this many awards?

00:17I addressed that in our acceptance speech.

00:20Oh, hell no.

00:22They've had me back here.

00:24I haven't got to enjoy.

00:25You said that quick and you said it because it's a photo finish.

00:28It's just down to Stapleton wins two.

00:30Is it something like that?

00:32Well, yeah, he's just one behind.

00:34Yeah.

00:36We're tied again.

00:37You've got to suck these together, edit it, and go, oh, they weren't.

00:40Now they're not.

00:40Listen, all I can say is that this exact moment in which you're recording,

00:45you are the record holders, and that seems good enough to me.

00:47We had a moment in time.

00:49And we got to share it together.

00:51I'm so thankful.

00:59Well, you guys have also really mastered the art of just longevity

01:04because, you know, you're going out on tour with Morgan Wallen again next year.

01:08How does it feel to kind of just constantly bring in new fans,

01:11either through touring or through people rediscovering your music, things like that?

01:16It's awesome.

01:17I'm glad.

01:18Yeah, I'm glad, you know, Morgan gave us a fine invitation,

01:22but we've got a full Brooks and Dunn tour rolling out there, too.

01:24That's true.

01:24I mean, you guys are nonstop.

01:26Yeah, you know, and it's two different things, and it's all great because, you know,

01:3115,000, 20,000 seat Coliseum is, you know, kind of the head we're banging on right now.

01:36And, you know, Morgan's got the same kind of thing like Chesney does.

01:41You can't see the end of those people up there.

01:44Thank God he's got a thrust that goes out and says, you know, you can actually feel these people.

01:49Yeah, no, it's like, yeah.

01:51No kidding.

01:51That's the thing.

01:52He's a very gracious host because some people do not, you know.
